What are the reasons behind this? I can assume few:
1. HGDF trying to get a whopping 40% income (stealing) from every landlord.
2. HGDF will ask renters where they get the money to pay the rent. If they don’t have any salary to show, there will be many follow up questions/interrogation. Where they get the money, how it was exchanged, etc
3. Then, they will ask the family if their diaspora kids were paying 2% of their income
The big picture here is that HGDF is telling Eritreans to get the hell out of the country. They have done so many unheard of criminal activities to Eritreans but sadly almost half of the population still supports them. How absurd is that? Are we getting what we deserve here? Sometimes I feel that way.
