I liked and admired your comment of “Hanbeska koliA do yrkeb koynew” so much. But my simple point was that our magic sand (Hutsa) of Massawa is a miracle that is when you bury yourself naked under the sand (Hutsa) near the sea it does all the magic work (locally proven but not medically) that is just like our beautiful “machelot” tsebel. Otherwise, because they have got the money they should not be treated differently like Royal families as there are thousands misfortuned unlucky poor ones as well.

Amna NurHussien is a health minister who can’t spell any medical term. She was put by the Dictator Wedi Berad to fill a quota or to justify that the brutal regime selects women and non-christians. There are many doctors who are fit to be health ministers that are veteran fighters, but selection of those doctors will threaten Wedi Berad’s power.
Amna NurHussien is believed to be the aunt of Salma Hassen (former minister, now frozen). Selma is a wife or ex-wife of a guy who is the president of “Maheber Meneseyat” or Youth Association or YPFDJ. How funny it is! There are many educated women Muslim and Christian who can be competent to be Ministers and Presidents, but Wedi Bead choses the one who are not educated and loyal to him. Look Askalu Menkerios (Minister of Tourism) and Fozia Hashim (Minister of Justice), those two women are not fit to become secretaries let alone to be ministers.

Infertility
Infertility is defined as failure of a couple to conceive after 12 months of regular intercourse without use of contraception.
About 80 to 90% of normal couples will conceive within the first year of attempted conception (if the live together and didn’t use any contraceptive). After another 12 month trying to conceive, about 5 to 15% of those who failed to conceive on the first 12 months (those of 10- 20 who didn’t conceive on the first 12 months) will conceive. so that after 24 months of trying to become pregnant, 95 percent of couples will have conceive.
The problem will be about the rest 5%, the cause could be from both male and female sides.
Also those who have once conceived (they might have a baby or end up with abortion/miscarriage ) is considered as secondary infertility. whereas those who have never conceived as primary infertility.
In order fertilization to take place the sperm and the egg has to meet on the female reproductive organs (mainly on the fallopian tubes)
The causes for infertility could be many factors, to mention some of them:
1).Absence of sperm production (Azoospermia – no sperm cells in the ejaculate) the cause
could be either the man can’t produce sperm cells or the tube is blocked bilaterally
2).The sperm produced might not be normal in their shape (morphology) and their motility.
3).The woman has to have a normal period, the mature eggs become ready for fertilization
during the mid-cycle ovulation period. the couple need to do sex during this ovulation
period
4). hormonal problems, lead to immaturity to the eggs
5). the woman’s tubal obstruction – mainly on the fallopian tube following recurrent
female reproductive tract infection
6). Maternal age, as the Age advances especially above the 35 years the probability to
conceive start to reduce and the probability for spontaneous abortion and fetal
congenital abnormality (baby born with abnormal body parts) increase
7). many other causes..
Also studies shows that the number of male infertility was higher in American soldiers, (after they returned home) and it was assumed the major cause could be the high pressure/stress that they had
Observation: I as I was working as a health personnel with in the MOH Eritrea, I have some observation. Even though study was not done, those male soldiers who were coming for infertility treatment at Orotta Maternity Referral Hospital, those who were coming from Assab and its around and other hot regions they were higher in number and were having worst prognosis.
The other observation was the short period they were given as their annual leave, if the couple they spent that 1 month together, she will have only one ovulation for that month and the probability of becoming pregnant is less than 25%.

Sara and Alem, I like your comments about the jackass and the goblin. Talking disrespectfully to hurt the feelings of many mourning families is really a shameful indecency. How on earth could dare Golfo to say that the bereaved parents were eating “injera mebaro” on the 40’s memorial day of their loved ones. This is unforgivable insult to the entire population.
Amna has no a shred of administrative and leadership knowledge.She is over there to simply to report gossips and rumors to the man high in the echelon.
