I was Tegadalay once, i a country where HGDEF rules are you kidding me. First they don’t have a penny to spare let alone throw it away, second their control is as tight as a drum. We all know it. this is just morale uplifting thing. There is a song there
” Gudam eyu zemenu zemen gomma haftey te’Tenkeki asaguma” people are scared to death. Amlak Da.A yerhuwo.

    • Tesfay August 28, 2014

Here we go again.. the i was “Tegadalay..thing” what has tegadaly to do with the news? If you still like to talk about Gedli era for your information the real tegadlity are languishing in prison what left in Eritrea are the monkey and keshas. Stop leaving with the old mentality “tegadaly”.

My friend Tesfay: ‘all that glitters is not Gold’

There are spoilers who pretend to be Tegadalay, Aslamay, Kistanay, from this awraja… and they write stuff that upsets others. Please do not take them face value.

Well done Arbi Harnet! This regime has done its destructive homework while the populace was innocently hoping for better outcomes. The Eritrean people have been deceived many times. Now the question is one of survival. We need to urgently unite and face the dictatorial regime head on before we perish. The current situation cannot carry on without fatal consequences to the Eritrean people.

  • tarikh August 28, 2014

My admiration and appreciation to Arbi Harnet being in place. I have something to say to those namby pamby chickens, who try to portray HGDEF as a strong system and in control.
I concur that once, when it was relatively popular and perceived as a liberator, through a swarm of snitches and informants HGDEF had managed to impose very tightened system but now the grip is loose, all the henchmen, the crooks and the hated snitches too have left the country.
The myth that depict HGDEF as still strong and has a tight control over the people. This is being circulated by the weaklings in the resistance and the diehard supporters of the regime.
For various reasons HGDEF’s power is waning. This is the hard fact and the in the ground. The notion that renders HGDEF as invincible and ever strong is a fallacy.
The only reason HGDEF is still in power is because it doesn’t have a formidable resistance and the people inside can’t rise up because they lack organization and leadership. It may sound simplistic and obvious, but that is the fact and the resistance groups should free themselves from this self imposed cowardice and timidity.

I believe this issue raised should be seen in a wider context. It raise the important Question. What is the basis for all the influx of Eritreans? Why? is it because the so called legal advisers have managed to create cases for the innocent Eritreans there by persuading the host countries to issue asylum the very moment you mention Eritrea? Is it because there is hardship in Eritrea? We Eritreans just like the rest of African brothers have in the first place failed to return to Eritrea to participate in nation building. we were sent abroad for further studies. being the selected very best and having a privilege to study further so that we would change the lives of our fellow citizens. we choose the west. luxury. and betrayed our people. and then we blame the government and the leadership for the problems. They have done their part in leading us to independence. But when it comes to nation building we failed them. This is not rocket science. this is fact. those agencies who continue to distort the truth didn’t gather the information by field interviewing inside Eritrea. Why? because the government knows their aim hence they are not allowed. They did ask those who flee Eritrea. what do you expect them to say then. Those who flee have to say that Eritrea is the north Korea of Africa. unless otherwise there is no asylum. Those who have been educated in Eritrea and sent abroad for further studies but choose not to return did manage to tell lies and act as interpreters to widen the fabrication. They did set up a network in the name of human right just to hide away from the fact that they are the ones who created this mess. Hence the only way we will succeed against those who twist truth is by playing our part. Lets ask the question. What is my contribution in this influx?

      • Eritreawit August 28, 2014

        matigari,

Let me guess, you visit Eritrea for vacations, possible YPFDJ member, trying to go back home one day when every thing is calm, now you are doing your education. This is selfish. You really think the young people who are languishing in SAWA for “National Service” are happy to throw their future, for nothing but the Dictator was scared to see any youth in Asmara and any town in Eritrea. Please open your eyes, ask people, call back home and ask them what they think about their life.

        • matigari August 28, 2014

i know what the life is back home. been there two times. the question is who is to blame. purely every one one of us abroad fullstop. way forward. what can we do about it. lets go home and develop the nation. no politics. just economics.

          • love eritrean August 28, 2014

Matigari, I do like you answer, because you are honest. Unfortunately, your PFDJ leaders are not honest with Eritrean people.
We all Eritrean (including your parents or relatives) went back in 90s, but we were not welcome by your dictator leaders.
How can you develop a Eritrea without of its YOUNG PEOPLE, ELECTRIC, FREE MARKET, HOSPITALS, EDUCTIONS, FREE LIVE WITHOUT RESTRICTION TO YOUNG PEOPLE?
            Please this link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-28960200
Of course we all are responsible for current situation in Eritrea, because we didn’t challenge the PFDJ and its followers in 1993, when they started to kill all our heros and destroyed the strong EPLF fighters. As you know, Eritrea is going back minimum by 200 years. It is not that simple to fix Eritrea and Eritrean at this stage. We will need to fight against PFDJ and its followers in 24/7/365. At the same time, we will need to build a country with the full of love and dignity.
Please keep your honestness and the love you have for the YOUNG ERITREAN POEPLE. However, I would like you to stay away from the YPFDJ, PFDJ leaders and its followers, because they will not live longer as HONEST ERITREA in the future.

          • weygud August 29, 2014

            politics is economics.

        • THE COWARD HERO August 29, 2014

          Eritreawit,

Allow me to render my extremely wise advice.Iwish instead being “super Eritrean” and feeling you have to respond to every objectionable comment & labelling people ,
          1) As YPFDJ
          2) Abay Tigray proponerers
          3) Anti Eritrean
And the one that surprised me more was ,your comment about thumbs up or down ,the reason the “NATIONALISTS” like you are getting thumbs down ,instead of the deserving thumbs up is conspiracy by Anti- Eritrean forces. I never check who gives me thumbs up or down ,I have confidence in what I say.
Remmember ,this is not some Childish blog were you gather your group..etc.
I hope you let your solution glitter ,PFDJ is bad ,Isaias is a murderer is not a strategy for winning. Some of us with less education ,but extreme wisdom are prescribing our solution in a practical manner. You have the brains & The language to express.YOU BNEED TO FIND SOLUTION FOR OUR PEOPLE ,TO SAVE THEM ,NOT TO REPLY TO EVERY SIOPHISTICATED OR OBJECTIONABLE OPINION LIKE MINE.

That will not do s**t to the people,I know it will make you feel good ,for giving piece of your mind.I wish you could concentrate on the solution & point out the obstacles that hinder us from uniting, If some people come to the conclusion of Tigray Tigrinyi (which I do not),It is a solution ,you could oppose it ,Why ,and why a different way is better ,& practically how ???

Please use your brain for solution ,because I sense You have brains ,So does WEDI-HAGER aka KALIGHE.
          Thank you
          wishing you well
          COW-FACE

I guess the hopeless and those whom you claim lacking organization and leadership are the opposition parties and yourself living in a foreign country.

matigari on : you are so selfish that you want the youth back home to live in a terrible situation.you went a couple times for vacation and f**ck little girls and think everything is wonderful. The Eritrean people are living under a brutal and selfish dictator and can’t function to do their daily life, people are killed, imprisoned, dissapeared left and right. There is no rule of law, constitution, human rights and rampant corruption on the so called ‘government'(few mafia group).matigari on,you are living somewhere at a safe country and you want the Eritrean youth to sacrifice for you forever, how hypocrite you are!,And you are talking about development, how stupid you are!.people don’t develop their country under extreme slavery and mafia leaders.sooner or later the mafia groupe going to steal their property and will not have even safety for their life.so don’t call the mafia group as government.use your coconut head.GOD BESS THE ERITREAN PEOPLE!!!

  • tarikh August 28, 2014

Lets stay focused guys. This is not HGDEF forum. We shouldn’t allow hgdefites to set us agendas or divert our attention.. HGDEFITE sycophants can’t engage in a free debate, because free debate requires one to have an open mind and free perception. These people however, are sent to distract us from our discussions and from contemplating new engagement tactics.
I strongly suggest that we ignore these side trackers and stay focused in our resistance. We have an enemy to remove, a languishing people to save.
Distracters come in different forms; some of them act like they are against HGDEF but disapprove the resistance tactics, still other pretend as good wisher elderly but against any forum of resistance against HGDEF and many other ways , but in whatever form they come, they have one very clear mission. i.e to distract us from focusing on enemy number 1 HGDEF.

    Matigari!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to use strong material to Wake you up if you are not those 2% blood suckers who earn Your living by spreading pfdj’s failure as the failure of the Whole world.

In derg time HIV was at its beginning fazes. Instead of teaching the Public how to protect, America is spreading the aids to wipe africans was the propaganda. A brain washed cadre of derg goes to from pub to pub (they were who can afford that ‘luxury’)and put their part of body without condomn into fire. The same retarded People propagate condom was to spread aids faster. You see these derg cadres were not born devils but recurted by derg to prolong a dictator system they choose propganda than School. They choose endless military service than irradicating illitracy. My question to you is if derg knew HIV is created by America why not protect the Public from Hiv?

So i dont want to list the misery hgdef has created since the beginning, but why pfdj is not protecting the People from mass influx from the very beginning? Whay the People have not stopped the influx allready in 1991? Ok 1993? Ok between 1991-1993?

Why all at least pfdj/eplf supporters did not comeback in massinflux in the 90s?
Endeless military service and war With Djibouti, ethiopia, yemen, even sudan is a way of attracting People to come back home or leave their land? Is that a New land supposed to behave? In 1993 ethiopia and Eritrea signed military Cooperation to defend their common enemy if it exista at all? What happened to that? Hundreds of countries have border problems even in th3 2014, but what the heck With Eritrea marching With weapons? Is it because the west or the east or the arab at the back of this mistery super Power? What is the consquences?

So do you believe now that some 1000 students went to Europa or America and destroy the lively Hood of the Whole nation? And to every body’s surprise these 1000 who are sent are hgdefs or their Family member?

    • matigari August 29, 2014

i understand your way of explaining the situation. Through out the whole world,it have always been normal for people to move from place to place. it was normal for Eritreans to go to neighboring Arab countries for employment and trade. the point i raised is in regards to Eritrean intellectuals. same is true for all Africans. Development, freedom , democracy and the rule of law do not come by default. it needs hard work, experience and above all economic stability. The reason i blame the selected best Eritreans who were sent abroad for all the problems is simple. practically, they should have been the ones who shoulder the responsibility to create a modern economy in the first place by applying what they learnt in the Eritrean context. reading a book about democracy, freedom and rule of law and mastering it is one thing and applying it according to your values is another. and you don’t expect the Eritrean leadership to develop Eritrea by miracle. they needed help. the kind of help they needed was purely economic. they wanted people to focus on development.Hard work. That is what we call sacrifice. the old generation have sacrificed more than 40 years of their lives but our generation including me did not want to work for free even for a year. Then we blame them for not being democratic and even corrupt according to the definitions in the western world.I think we are the ones who need to open our eyes and think about how to build the nation with out talking a lot. If we choose not to participate in the development, then it will be better if we keep quite instead of being negative all the way.

Dear arbi harnet brothers: what you did as to mobilizing the youths is good as something is better than nothing. There are many ways we can exploit to topple the dictator. Let me forward one way that can help us in addressing our problem. If we can’t attack the dictator and his friends we can kill their close relatives like their sons and daughters and wives and son.And also we can attack the military officials who are helping the regime .We need to take measure against the nonsense ministers because at this time being a member of this regime should be cons

    Dear Eritreawit,

“rezen” surely was born with a little golden spoon due to amharic parents who could gain from the present of the former rulers (butchers) of Ethiopia, who also enabled him education in the US. His natural abilities were enough for snaking around with the good English that he could get from that BUT not for a career as a social scientist. He tried it. Now he frustrated and keep thinking: “Why did this awful Eritreans and this awful relatively democratic ethiopian goverment push away my butcher ancestors from the throne. If they wouldn’t be there, i would still have a golden spoon in my hungry schlot (“mouth”).”
    Just ignore him!

“cow face” aka “coward hero” aka mehretu habte is simply insane. He is suffers from the haviest kind of pathological narcissism. His heart was not only broken but pulverized beyond retrieval by the circumctances of his early and later childhood. Now without a heart he just seeks to destroy, destroy, destroy.

When he sees in the eyes of other people, he just sees the reflection of his ego in their iris. NO matter who, he is not able to love or to see – but he trys to redirect from this fact!
He is poor but more than that HUNGRY for admiration – by the way that is the only thing that can make him cry like a baby because he gets so emotional than!
But no birth, no death, no fate of a single human beeings can touch him!!!
Therefore “rating” is the most important for him – he than even starts to use the word “respected..” instead of his cesspool termini!
