ጀጋኑ ሰማእታት ትሰምዑዶ ኣለኹም ሰብ ሕድሪ ጠሊሞም ዕላማ ራኢኹም ቅሳነት ስኢኑ እቲ ለዋህ ህዝብኹም ጌና ኣሎ ይሳቐ ቀጻሊ ብድሕሬኹም! ብስደት ጠፊኦም ኣሕዋትኩም ደቅኹም ወላድ መኻን ኮይኖም ይዋእ ወለድኹም *ጻኦት ተኸሲቱ ባዲሙ ደንቤኹም *ብብዝሒ ምስዳድ *ኣውቶክራት ፈጢሩ ክቡር መስዋእትኹም! *ዉልቀ መላኺ ኣብ ሓራ ሃገራ ብሓጐስ ስሒቓ ሰላም

ሕሰምን መከራን መሪሩ’ቲ ጭንቃ
ምጻሩ ስኢና በዚሑ ጭፍለቓ
ኣደ ጸልሚቱዋ ጸሓይ ኣብ ምብራቓ!
ወዲ ዓከር ብኹበን እናቀለቡና
ዕስራ ዓመት ሓዘን ኢሎሞ ሓበንና
ዘልኣለም ብኩርማጅ ክንግዛእ ርዒድና
ከም መጽዓኛ ብሉጓም እናጓሰዩና
ኣፍና ተዓቢሱ ጾምና እናሓደርና
ማሕበራዊ ፍትሒ ኣንጊስና ኢሎሙና!
ንሓንሳብ ሲምፖዝዩም ንሓንሳብ ፈስቲቫል
ጓይላ እናተኸልካ ብመስተ ምጽላል
ብረሃጽ ጀጋኑ ክንደሻዕ ምሽክዕላል
ሓድነት ዓጢቕካ ሰኣን ዓገብ ምባል
ተስፋና ጸልሚቱ ክንነብር ሰንፈላል!?
ንሓርነትን ራህዋን ከምዘይተቓለስና
ምስ’ዚ ኹሉ ሃብታ እዛ ለምለም ሃገርና
ንግሆ ቆሪስናዶ ምሳሕ ምሰኣንና
ብጽፍርና ክብሉ’ባ ጾምና ኣሕዲሮሙና!
ህዝቢ እናተሰደ ቅሳነት ስኢኑ
እቲ ዕቡይ መላኺ ሳርያን ተኸዲኑ
ዕንባባ ተንበረ ኣብ ሓወልቲ ጀጋኑ
ዓስቢ ስውኣትና መዓስ እዚ ኮይኑ!
ኣንታ’ዚ መላኺ ክንደይከ ይደፍር
ሰብ እናረኣዮ ቊሩብ ዘይሓፍር
ኣብቶም ግዳያቱ ዕንባባ ዘንብር
ምሉእ መዋእሉ ኣባጽሕ ኪቐብር
ህዝብና ኣእቲዩዎ ኣብ ኲናት ዕግርግር!
ስለዚ፡ ሰማእታት ክንደይሻዕ ክንሕሱ
ህዝቢ ብናጽነት መዓስ ተደቢሱ
ኣብ ክንዲ ቅሳነት ራዕዲ እንድዩ ነጊሱ
ይኣክል ከይንብል ኣፍና ተዓቢሱ
ይሓይሽ ተበልና ዚገድድ መሊሱ
መዓስኮን ይኸውን ዚርከቦ ፈውሱ!?
ዘልኣለማዊ ዝኽርን ክብርን ንስውኣትና!
ስቓይና ንኺድምደም፡ ውድቀት ንጉጅለ ሕሰም!

Dear Assena I do not appreciate the Cartoon of Isayas pissing on the maryter,s grave is a bit degrading to our maryters and those of us who lost love ones for the cause , it would be nice if assena uses other Cartoon or illustration to express the poem thanks.

I really appreciate for your kind words. Unlike Footscry, you presented your comment in a constructive way. However,Isaias is not only pissing on the grave of our martyrs, after all he never believes they are martyrs. Let me remind you what he said on a national TV in 1994: “All that died during the struggle were not martyrs, in fact there were many thieves,traitors and use the struggle as a safe haven for their evil deeds in the society.” Don’t you think Daniel he is pissing on the grave of our martyrs? In another occasion, he covertly said “those families who are told of their loved ones (martyrs)should be proud of, those who are not told don’t ask me, I assure you they were punished (gbAom wesidom). Don’t you think Daniel, it is worse than pissing on the grave of our martyrs.

I know all these things I was there when he said those things , I don’t have any problem with the Content or Message of the Poem ,and I believe that they didn’t die in vein , but the Cartoon doesn’t really reflect our society ,culture and mind set ,I actually have a problem with the word or Cartoon “PISSING” it is a bit over the top to be mix with the ISSUE of our martyrs. don’t you think it is a bit disrespectful?
