I wish all the best
Watching the different PFDJ websites I see all kind of pictures celebrating independence day. My questions is the regime supporters dismiss and bad mouth Ethiopia but doesn’t the majority that HABESHA traditional close come from Ethiopia?
I know in my community when there is a wedding or special cultural event it gets ordered from Ethiopia. I am wondering if it’s true in other communities as well.

Do you want to see the real wind of change, i mean like in Washington DC the opposition side like dominated the PFDJ public, more to see everywhere the opposition public to dominate them? Then pray Wedi Tekabo or Tesfay Mehari ( Fihra) to depart. If they depart, we have to well come them with open heart without any critic regardless whom they served before. Finally they are artists not politicians. It is normal in every society to see when artists or musicians serve the ruling regime. I may give you examples older musicians for instance like Tilahun Gessese, Aster Aweke, Neway Debebe etc in Eritrean side like Bereket Mengistab and alike didn´t you see when serving from Haileslase time, during Derg era up to now ? So do you think if in both nations the regime changes, they will stop to serve the coming new regime? Never! They will continue. So why not we try to gain Wedi Tekabo and Fihara more than any higher Ministers else? Don´t you know their role as have big impact if they left PFDJ? Me i am sure these two singers defection as will have more impact for bringing wind of change, than 10 useless PFDJ ministers like Yemane monkey, Sebhat Efrem or Kisha´s alike defection.

Believe me if Wedi Tikabo and Korchach abandon the regime , Higdef will play the weyane card ..kedmun filitnayom imber Ethiopiawayan nerom kibluna and the rest papagalo tritt higdef will repeat the same thing. I do not think so their defection can have any impact at all. The real change should come with in the country(the military) and with support of the diaspora community from outside. Individuals can make headlines for days only.

Dear brother Simerrr 2012, i know like you said Higdef as will play the weyane card and say them “kedmun filitnayom imber Ethiopiawayan nerom kemzblwom and the rest papagalo tritt higdef will also repeat the same thing.” Even now some idiots might be from opposition side, but most likely i guess they could be PFDJ suppporters, i heard them when presenting to wedi Tikabo and even to our independence founder Kibur Woldeab Woldemariam as ifthey are Tigrawyti. This is typical racism, who nobody likes to see in free democratic Eritrea. For me regardless their origin i believe no one has real Eritrean patriotic sentiment above than Wedi Tikabo and Aboy Woldeab more have. Wedi Tikabo is for me simply the best regardless whom is serving now. If we are clever we can turn and use it his wonderful and patriotic songs for our benefit. But ironically what wonders me is, despite in their Shingerwa show the public sees and chose Wedi Tekabo´s “Tsmbilali song” as the best song of the year, and because the song simply the best is PFDJ self despite all time using Wedi Tekabo´s song for public mobilization and propaganda, indeeed his song above attractivity and beauty, we know nothing has to do with reality , but i heard from racist motive as was the Juries rejected his song from being, “song of the year.” My point is i believe this guy is very talented, intelligent and patriot, if we clever we must strive to gain him in our side so that in his wonderful song to attract and influence the PFDJ public to side with us, because i believe most our people are going to PFDJ festivals not because they love PFDJ or are sympathizers, but it is only to see Guwaila, because our society loves Guwaila and his culture, but specially because of the diaspora hard life causing the frustration and isolation to refresh their mind, to join and enjoy with their relatives, to seek girl or boy friends there is. If you don´t understand this logic, that means you never know our societies in what under psychic dilemma is facing.
