I use to listen to Assenna radio since long ago when there was an Arabic broadcast and to be honest I was frustrated when they stopped although I noticed that this website is really, honest and courageous one.I tried to follow through the Tigrinya one but did not give me that enjoyment and satisfaction as it did in Arabic may be due to my poor Tigrinya level. My concern was mentioned during the visit of Amanuel to Melbourne and I am convinced more than before that it is only for technical reasons and nothing else as some tried to justify it. Continue your effort to seek assistance of Arabic Translators even from outside London.I am suggesting this because I am well-aware that your broadcast will assist in reaching mutual understanding to what is going in our beloved country only because you, Assenna are most trusted resource of news. Continue your effort and may God bless you.

    selam Ismail,
All major Eritrean languages and working languages are very important. There is no doubt that broadcasting is very costly but resources are very meager, so the little resources are used where the largest impact can be made inside Eritrea. Assenna should be thanked for trying its best. In my view, Assenna could make a major impact in Eritrea if it can start to broadcast in Tigre language where more than 45% of Eritreans understand it very well.
ato Ismail, if you think there are significant Arabic listeners inside Eritrea, why don’t you start your own Arabic programming and raising money from the listeners.
