Kipchoge – winner of the last two London marathons and two-time Olympic medallist – was one of the favourites from the outset, along with Uganda’s Stephen Kiprotich, and youngest ever winner of a world-championship, Ghirmay Ghebreslassie of Eritrea.

Issaias was trying to use the Rio 2016 to boast and use it for some political propaganda as he did with the only medal obtained this year in the World Championship games.
In Rio 2016, Issaias was sent home empty handed. Given the number of Eritrean refugees representing other nations such as USA, Switzerland, Spain, Great Britain and Sweden, more Eritreans will defect and seek asylum rather than stink as a slave and Abeed in Eritrea or the Arab refugee camps.
None of our proud Eritrean forefathers were sold as slaves and Abeeds to aliens with values poorer than ours.
