Eritrea - Death of an African Dream

Print PDF

Death of an African DreamIt is more than six years now since the Australian journalist Mark Corcoran contributed this TV documentary: Death of an African Dream.  Watching just the ‘death of the dream’ on TV then was very painful. Six year on, the death has been multiplied ten times and the dream has gone into further distance. At the moment, no one even seems in a position to trace the dream’s graveyards. The worst thing is, many have internalized the death of that beautiful dream and are pretending to be comfortable in their day-sleep, which is deeper than death. What a shame! Tens of thousands had died for it; we should never let the dream die like that. Watch it again, and talk with your inner self.

wedi-semhar,
you never get tired of repeating one and same idea over and over again.
However a lie repeated endlessly can never turn into truth.
If you are trying to convince yourself through auto suggestion that is another story. In that case I advise you to do it alone at home or under an attention of a psychotherapist .

I wish you a good mental recovery.

For God sake again Self claim journalist please ask more objectives You didn't ask some Questions why all the WaeLA about some jihadits.

1.The so called waEla Addis is a complete failure, so did the Woyannies who tried to control it with their lap dogs, such as Beshir Ishaq.
Any waEla or reconciliation in Eritrea will not succeed without the full participation of most Eritreans including EPDP and significant members of hgdef.
Kidan and its leaders such as Tewelde G. Selasie and Beshir Ishaq are politically to slow. Anything that you will hear from Addis with regard to Eritrea should be carefully examined.

2. Woyannies will never support Eritreans without any payback interest.
Eritreans have heard so much lies from hgdef, and they will not tolerate any lies from Kidan or Woyannies. For more info, please listen to the interview by Amanuel Eyasu on radio assenna.com
On the issue of Federalism, there are more than ten Eritrean experts on government structure including Federalism.Eritreans only hope are its young people. The old generation has failed us again.

Wedi-semhar, don't waste your time defending PFDJ: they WILL FALL AND FALL BADLY, BECAUSE THEY PROMOTE SOCIAL INJUSTICE. Such an unjust systems are inevitably meant to fall before long. Read history. Now, you may have been paid to do this job, in which case this text does not mean anything to you. But if you still honestly believe in HGDEF, please think again. Siding with PFDJ is not going to give you happiness for a long time to come. You know what, you CAN use your resources to a just cause!!!

Hammm thanks assenna for posting some clips video about the people having Meeting in Aids-abeba(WaEla) They are n't more than a 100 people who are most of them in their late 60 early 70. Those are the people are expecting to rule Eritrea. IF You think those will go to eritrea and be your government i think you are living in a fantasy world or just dream. Even it is very shameful to upload this video clips but we saw the face of the some jihadits among them.
