Wedi Berad will not relinquish his power unless a drone destroy him while he is boozing, sleeping and dancing with young girls in Masssawa!

President Obama’s speech is very clear message to all Eritreans. Now is the right time to write petitions on behalf of our beloved voiceless Eritrean population to President Obama.

      Eritrawi

I agree with your brilliance, while we should cure our hidden enemy of favoritism and regionalism….It is indeed advisable to do what you,Eritrawi recommend .I second your motion.

Is this ignorance or utter naivety?
History has shown us time and again that dictators will not give in to pressures no matter how strong it is. In our case its even worse because the dictator deliberately and systematically cordoned off the poor nation from the outside world. Remember, freedom is not granted on a silver plate but earned and snatched through blood. No matter how many petition you submit to the White house or other world powers, its not going to change a damn thing. After all, for a petition to work effectively, there should be a substantial interest that the parties are tantalizing about which in our poor Eritrea case is NONE.
So our Brothers and Sisters, instead of entertaining unrealistic ideas to fool ourselves and waste time, lets deal with tyranny the way it should and that means rolling our sleeve up and fight head on. Otherwise,it should be there for generations by passing on to the next member of the family the exact way its happening in North Korea while we are whining like the kid around the corner.
Remember, Obama once said “the land that we are living in was not inherited from our parents but borrowed from our children”. What he meant was, the responsibility of handing over the land to our children squarely and entirely rest on us. Sadly, that’s not what we seem to be doing today but run, run, run through all directions leaving a dying nation behind.

Stone headed political power players Africans do not understand the value of honor left behind
their legacy . If they couldn’t learn from late president Mandela , its alternate choice is to die the
same of all previous presidents like dogs . Hailesellasie & Menghistu are good example close home.

DIA has no other alternative than to die like old dogs in Eritrea or De Haage. The COI Repot is too heavy that he can live no more and nowhere peacefully. We all know our mentality what torture and killings mean! The revenge is definitely before the door ! This concerns to all killers in Eritrea and elsewhere, who have commited the crimes.

  • Dawitom July 29, 2015

There is only one killer in Eritrea and it is not God but the diablos/sheyitan Isayas Afewerki. And Eritrean people should carry the full blame for making this sheyitan devil a president for life. We call ourselves as braves, tough fighters, heroes, fuliyat fitret and the rest of it but yet we can’t get rid of a one loser alcoholic and mad dog!

Eritrean people simply and for far too long worshiped and praised this killer monster and now as in our tigrigna saying “baEla sekilato miwiradu sienato” indeed. There is a root cause to every disaster, and are we here to attribute every catastrophe to this devil and his PFDJ? We have a diablos DIA who promises a lot and delivers nothing but disasters and horrors at the same time we have naive and “brave” Eritreans waiting for more miracles from their Gods!!! It can’t get any uglier and the president for life won’t get any more saint.

The speech delivered by Obama is the best speech I have ever heard. It is lesson for leaders all in Africa especially to the dictator of Eritrea. He see Eritrea as his own property or own mini business. Everything in Eritrea whether its human or other material resources can be used for self fulfillment without any accountability and turned the country in to a lab for experimenting. And he thinks he do us favour by holding the country hostage but not fragmented. Few years back Eseyas said no one give me a contract to take the post so I would stay in power as long as I want. This sums how he consider & sees Eritrea. It is very sad there are people among us who support him to destroy the nation. What they miss is that any Change is a sign of progress and it would be impossible to get worse than PFDJ rule in futue. New leader can come with fresh idea and vision. However the one we have in eritrea is incapable and incompetent of leading and has no vision. He is a cancer of the nation he can’t even lead his private life let alone to govern a nation. One final to borrow from Obama speech to end my comment is that” those who scarify liberty for security, will lose both” . HGDEF needs to take a lessen from Obama speech and act urgently before its inevitable demise and cut off its cancer.

It’s so funny to see this clip displayed on Meskerem.net. This makes it look like an opposition website. What a paradox ! And next week will look different. May be will go on with its main function of digging identities of individuals.

No body should be president on life!!! No kidding.
Our tin pot dictator is thinking beyond life by passing the torch to his son or his cohorts. I am not sure it is the African thing (Burundi+Eritrea) or the complacency of Eritreans. Also, to blame is the Eritrean diaspora and in particular the Educated class who support the odious Eritrean regime. I am not sure what their rationale is , but makes me question their level education beyond getting the piece of university paper. If University is supposed to make you a critical thinker, they have haven;t shown any convincing argument why they support the current regime beyond acting as a lap dog of their master. If higher Education is to make you a thinker,it is kind obvious into which side of the fence of these group should be standing. Or is it they have aspiration to get a crump to become officials in Eritrea or is it to secure their piece land at home or is it to support a brother or sister who is an official in Eritrea or something that I would not dare on this comment (you know what).
I beg you guys to come to your sense and rally us for a good cause and to make the project called Eritrea work. Else we will go down to the dust bins of history of betraying ERITREA again.
