President Barack Obama is in Ethiopia on the second leg of his African tour – the first serving US leader to visit the country.

He is due to hold talks with government officials and discuss the civil war in South Sudan with regional leaders.

President Obama will also be the first US president to address the 54-member African Union at its headquarters in Addis Ababa on Tuesday.

Mr Obama flew to Ethiopia after a two-day visit to Kenya.

There he had discussed trade and security but also called for greater human rights and warned of the dangers of corruption.

The US president was greeted at Addis Ababa’s international airport by Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn.

On Monday, Mr Obama is due to discuss ways to bring South Sudan’s 19-month-old civil war to an end.

President Obama is visiting Ethiopia. This is the result of Meles Zenawi brilliant diplomacy. In the other hand, no president was set foot in Wedi Berad’s Eritrea except his friends who are war criminals Bashir and Gedaffi. To Since no one wants to deal with the dictator Isaias Afwerki, he is meeting in secret a loser politician Birhanu Nega that was sentenced by death in absentia by Ethiopian Government for inciting violence.

I am crying for my beloved country to fall in the hands of Deki Arba, killers, rapists, dictators, morons, etc.

I couldn’t agree more.Talking about brilliant diplomacy, some of the high officials in the economic sector of the regime used to work as liquor store clerks in the west. These are a neighborhood gang , you can call them any horrible name in the book, it fits them.

I am so proud of my country! may Eritrea has the way out of the misery and supportive to economic stability and peace in the region!
For us we are sick of the long history of military adventurism that drove the whole region in to a a vicious misery for almost a century. this has to come to an end, we must say enough is enough! Badge is not the one and only issue these countries share, there are a lot economic, social and politics areas that are beyond a village called BADME. If we have to keep the statuesque that will affect both countries and PFDJ is taking advantage of the our land Badme saga and a pretext to prolong his stay in power. Eritreans must wake us and give space and time to dialogue and a give and take principle where Ethiopia is looking forward.
A nation can’t go to a total failure under the pretext of BADME

You should be! So am I of my own.A country full of potential, and promise ruled by mediocre, short sighted imbeciles. Forget navigating through the treacherous maze of foreign diplomacy, I wouldn’t let them run a local day care.

The Eritrean regime has not been deterred even though the no peace no war policy has destroyed its tiny Eritrean economy. The psychotic brutal dictator for life Esayas has chosen to spend the tiny GDP of Eritrea on supporting Ginot-7 and other riffraffs rather than on many of Eritrea’s shortage services and supplies. This coward dictator has no interest in peace or any development for Eritrea as he knows very well that he will be dead soon and as a result all his reckless and desperate acts. Yes DIA, your days are really numbered as Ethiopia and the USA will finish you off really soon.
