US House and Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittees on African Affairs: Give the plight of Eritreans’ due attention it deserves!

I am a grateful and legal resident in the United States of America, a nation established under the principle that “all men are created equal” and possess inalienable rights. My country men and women from where I have come, however, are suffering under a regime that is one of the most repressive governments in the world. No news about Eritrea is a good news, but let me try to highlight some of the major human rights abuses that are underway there at this point in history.

It is way over due to give the attention to the Eritrean people they deserve. The current government is as merciless as a wild animal. Thousands of Eritrean are lost their lives, and thousands more are languishing in prison.

Sometimes one is obliged to believe that the WEST has the tendence to nonchalate, ignore problems of Africa.
Had the tragedies happened in Lampadusa, Sinai and beyond… somewhere in Europe or Asia the response would have been immediate and direct, effective and more finding truth about the cause and not the symptoms.
Since USA is the only super power in this world, they are responsible if ignoring causes such tragedies.
My petition to Obama: In 18 century when the first American constitutions is written by the like minded slave owners, they have clearly stated that: the black slave is 5/8 of a white owner. Then my Question to him is; is the blood from Africa still in that ratio?

The only way international world react as history taught
us is when people rise up . The policy behind it is to calm down the country from chaos and blood shed regardless if the government was an ally or not except if they see their national interest looks in danger.
