Nearly 100 Christians have been arrested this month in Eritrea, the one-party East African state that is among the world’s most repressive, according to World Watch Monitor, which reports on the persecution of Christians.

The arrests come ten years after the regime of Isaias Afwerki, the nation’s president since 1993, imprisoned the head of the Eritrean Orthodox Church and installed a new patriarch in his place.

In 2015, Pope Francis established the Eritrean Catholic Church—the first Eastern Catholic church formally established since the early 20th century. Previously, the nation’s 160,000 Eastern Catholics had belonged to the Ethiopian Catholic Church.

100 might have been taken to prison from one donomination at once, but remember the criminal beast had declared openwar against the people long time ago and never stoped placing ordinary people in dangeons. The ball is with us and need to take actions where ever we are. His ambasadors and monkeys are here with us and need to take action on them instead of our girl/boy friends, wives, husbands, or friends.

The psycopath mafia leader and his few clique will continue to imprison every body including underages and elderly to instill fear and intimidate us to kneel down to them. To the contrary, these will, as have been, only will strengthen our resolve and determination to destroy tyrany and punish those involved in these atricious crimes.

Misleading topic. Tewahdo, Catholics and Protestants are living peacefully. And they are Christians. But the new western christians like pentecostal, JW, seventh adventists etc etc are not welcome anymore because the main three Christian religions do not want the new ones to flourish in Eritrea and therefore are ok with it.

In your argument , you have used contradictory statements (oxymoron).. On one hand , you stated that protestants along with the other two religions live peacefully.; on the other hand, you claim that “western Christians” like Pentecostals, and, Seventh o Day Adventists do not or are not welcome.

      Well,

Protestants is a name for Western Christian Churches including Seventh Day Adventists and Pentecostals (which is still under protestant churches but they believe in the baptism of the holly ghost among other beliefs )
