    Dr angessom
you said wanatat baelina ena elka
    where? how? who?
You are not even the owner of the meeting in Ghion hotel Addiss Abeba.
Forget about what is going to happen even you are not the owner of badme after it was given to you and after you lost all your brothers and sisters for the bloody war.
You seem you are drinking hot coffee with cream from dunkin donuts at wilson street relax take it easy think twice before you add your sugur and cream.
You are not even the owner of the ugly sanction you got no power to put it and no power to remove it once it is passed.

      Kiflemeariam:
before you make retarded comment know your facts.
Dr Assefaw jigna eyu, respected Doctor and politician . For your information, he is highly regarded person even by american authorities. His approach is non violent fight long term approach. he believes eritrean problem should be solved by eritreans Not by outsiders like Ethiopians. Any help is apperciated but not to be as expense of our country. We eritreans fought for our indepence and won. we can takecare our busines..we shouldnot dwel on short term goals.

waw what a news assenna that is lie the atlanta oppostion wanna be youth were begging people to buy tickets almost untill mid night and everybody knows that hall in liburn doesnt hold 100 people let alone 300. Secondly the new year party by the supprters was postponed because there were two death of Eritreans in the city. How could you party while two families in the communtiy lost their loved ones.

I would say, the last discussion was mild and more of a rite of passage to the younger generation from elders if you will. Dr. Angesom has captured the gist of the discussion when he said, this is a transition period where the younger generation is taking matters onto its own hands by either passively voting with its foot and voicing its predicaments with placards in demonstrations in its respective adoptive countries. The new decade has sure enough started off with a keenly pragmatic approach to the clear and present danger in Eritrea where again the youth is getting more vocal and pragmatic as we have witnessed in the last summer that new faces (sons and daughters of the high ranking incarcerated personalities) are augmented to the pervasive and rampant demonstrations. Moreover, one can subtly notice that, the last decade had been the decade of plethora of articles and essays where popular opposition websites entertained ideas on how to tackle the regime in Eritrea but these days, as pragmatism is taking over “armchair” analysis, the said websites are drying out of articles where awate.com and asmarino.com come to mind. Enough has been said and overly analyzed and it is time for the younger generation to march on to herald a new era where Eritrea is no more in pain.

  • guest 1 first of all how can u lie at this time coz every body can verify by write the hall information and can get all hall information ,second how do u think even hgdef they care about dead people coz we see last they make big party while more than 300 Eritrean youth dead in libya even your government did not recognize as Eritrean third thing at this time is there any organized supporter here in Atlanta i know there are a lot of Eritrean doesn’t join the youth movements coz they want go to bake home to see their family and some of them they built hometown there every body know body pls lbi gber

I followed Part 1,2 and 3. Very immpressive discussion. I know Dr assefaw’s stand in regard to non-violent fight . his approach seems to be non practical to people who are seeking easy fix o eritrean problem. He made bold statements suchas…the awasa meeting does NOt represent the eritrean people . I agree with Dr Assefaw, they dont represent me. This seems to Dr Angesom angrly and led to heated discussion. Dr Angesom need to present his case in consise to the point manner…his endless argument and lack of tigrinia comand could be boring to listners. i have high respect Dr bereket wisdom. I also read Dr bereket’s latest book “Eritrea: the wounded nation”… i highly recommend this book for all eritreans. you need to understand to the root cause of our problem. They conculuded our youth to develop TOLERANCE among each other and RESPECt the older generation. They also said we need to have PFDJ free communitie centers in all areas so we can help each other, talk to each other ,provide psychological counsling to your youth which many of them seem to suffer from PTSD and war trauma.
