Just for curiousity, Do the people (peasants) of Adi Nefas — Emba Derho and others are
entitled by law to recieve a share from the wealth of their land ?
In western countries the government can take your property legally if it stands in their
project, but you get paid for it’s price.

What do you mean by western countries?

The Diamonds of Congo are mined by westerners. Are you saying the Congolese are entitled by law to get a penny from their resource?

The Petrol of Saudi Arabia is owned by westerners. Are you saying the poor Saudi People are entitled by law to get a penny from their petroleum?

Are you saying the Westerners are happy to share the resources of this world equally?

If your answer to one of the above questions is YES, then you are nonsense.

@ M I please don`t be judgmental ,,,,,,western western western……..Westerners doesn`t have power to take the resource of one country unless the greedy government allowed them to do that.
@ Ahmed Saleh ….. I am an exploration geologist working in different countries of West Africa. Always there is an agreement between the mining company and the country. The company spends millions of dollar to find profitable deposit. If they does they will share the resource with the country (the share depends on the countries internal policy) if not they will went out empty handed. If the deposit stands near the village for their safety they will be mobilized to a safer place and get paid a lot of money to start their new life. This is how it is if I am wrong please correct me. I repeat always the government decides the right thing for his people period.

Thanks, Abrihimo . I agree with you but my question was for
those who are displaced or effectef in their daily life because of the explorations inside Eritrea. I doubt our people will get
fair share from those MAFIA in Asmera.

For sure the company will pay the money to the government the prob is with DIA (Dictator Isayas afwerki). As every body knows an Eritrean Junior & Senior Geologist get paid less than 500 Dollar per Month ( 2,500$ per month and for Senior geologist more than 5,000$ per month. This clearly shows that the Asmara Mafias took all the money from the companies and then give to the poor Eritrean Geologist around 5,000 Nakfa per month. This is fact!!!! Have a blessed day.

Let us hope any revenue Isayas puts his hands on will be invested to improve the lives of the mass, but I doubt this will happen. Anogola’s and Equatorial Guinea’s oil and Sira Leon’s diamonds at worst brought misery, at best a 1% wealthy upper class cronies of the power. Isayas is more likely to use this money on security apparatus that will keep him in power or other pillars of his power base, and whatever left of it ,he might use it to sponsor groups like Alquida .I don’t think he will be interested in hospitals and schools which could empower the mass therefore a threat to his dictatorship or even roads and infrastructures which makes people mobile and hard to spy on.

Do you think is right to displace the peasants in Gash region to get chased out
from their ancestors land some of them fled to Sudan ?
If we couldn’t have a courage to advocate for those people’s right, what
guarantee do you have that others might not face the same fate under
    this reckless government ?
Leave aside politics, answer me with a sense of humanity and social justice.

What ever resources we have it is owned and dominated by ISSAIAS AFEXEIKI. Our people will never get any thing as long as this idiot regime is available. Issaias’s account is full of money now. In Every corner of the world and I think his wealth is now more the 20 BILLION US Dollars. These money has been taken from the Eritreans all over the world under the so called TAX, Human trafficking, selling drugs, alcohol and other assets. Out of these amount, even a single dime will not taken by anyone of his gangs unless the Big Boss Issaias knows about it.
whatever he does it is too late for the people. These idiot regime without a law should be thrown away and truth will be prevail soon.

Issaias will be captured soon and our people will be the owner of his resources!

    Peace to the Eritrean people!
