Keep it up Emmanuel and Team!

One point a vehemently disagree with Emmanuel is that ….and I quote here “we all will have to re-build Eritrea once the system falls apart”. Emmanuel, first those who will have to face justice have to taste the fruits of their making in court of law. (And please – not people like Dr. Bereket who is really useless and coward – excuse my punitive words here directed at Dr. Bereket). These few people with Authority at their disposal will be hiding behind excuses after excuses once the system falls apart when they do get to face a fair and just court system in Eritrea – They do have time now; had time yesterday! Had time 10 years ago! They are no hero’s of Eritrea! Every person who is voice-less now should and will have his/her time to speak up and bring their grievances regarding atrocities these few individuals have committed to the court of law. By my account, most of these people with Authority are old and frail and the almighty God might make His call to save them from disgrace.

They are shame to humanity and shame to Eritrea. Most of all – shame to themselves and their families. Every drop of blood, and every fallen Eritrean young in the desert, every mother rapped and sold for body parts, every single soul swallowed by the ocean, every refugee who is a has become a headline in every corner of the world….every one of them who are shot on the spot while trying to flee compulsory military service – Every Eritrean soul is in their hand.

That includes the former foreign minister who is hiding across the ocean in the land of “outcasts”. He has been quite still on drug dreaming. Come out of your hiding – you know who you are.

Have I said enough…. that is my Sunday commentary – lack of going all out.
    Keep it up Assenna.

We Eritreans missed such kind open dialogue.
And Amanuel presentation was impressive .

ahmed saleh – good question. If you read Bereket’s own interview (which I took time to read) at other web sites – it became clear to me that Bereket was submissive to a single man’s “shadow of power” rather than standing up as man of expert and justice. After all, writing a constitution is not to be a game of board rather it was supposed to be a living and breathing document. I am sure Bereket could reflect on it on his own and see what Bereket might have compromised for the sake of “just having a paper document”. At times, principle to stand for fair and just approach to things will go a long way – or perhaps for ever. I do believe in second chance “in some circumstances” and I might have been strong on singling out Bereket but it is what it is. If and when anyone twisted and pressures one to do anything out of the norm – run as far as you can – I think Dr. Bereket kept on paddling while he knew, deep in him, it was disturbing him.

Same thing that is happening now, right? – Some are still sticking by the statement that Eritrean people are free and in good hands…. etc
    God bless Eritrea!

We became to understand the way EPLF leadership
maintain their activity in secrecy to eliminate any
opponent . Dr.Bereket as a civilian and as outsider
easily can fell victim like other high post officials
and educated citizens if he confront or criticise
    the government .
Sometimes I disagree with his ideas like anybody
else but that doesn’t mean to discredit his efforts .
Finally , if the military officials from Sahel couldn’t
survive from the hands nobody else is immune .
Glad he run to save himself and I wish others did
the same than rot in dungeons .

Amanuel we have said a number of times to condemn the nonsense conferences in Ethiopia,Stockholm and else where. Because all of them where with out a specific and clear agenda. The only thing we gained from them is just the escalation of our differences. They were a battle ground between different ideas and finally the result is where we are in. Iseays, Iseyas yibehal ember most of the oppositions are like Iseyas. Even in this aspect Amanual were playing a vital role for disintegration. You got a voice but you were using it for your own ideas. Higi temeliskum aweraja nizarebelu , deleytifitihi himakat, conference mewedaderi elka tizareb alleka. Baelu dea Fetari mihret yewirdelna ember kulu seb rienayo alena.

Excellent presentation kbur haw Amaniel Eyasu! to tell you the truth we saw how you attend those conferences that were taking place in various places. we were all so positive about their outcome just as you were. now though we know better. not all of those conferences managed to move the Eritrean cause forward. Amaniel remember some people do not love the idea of unity as you do. why because it does not match with their agendas. that is why we are seeing people attack you from different camps. it is ironic but some people are really scarred of unity just as the devil is scarred of the cross. and i say as long as we do not work for unity we will go on suffering. but who do we have to blame then?
