    Dear Ato Kassahun,
We very much appreciate and applaud the information and experiences you share with our people.
But with all due respect, you sound like you still have much respect to the very person that you claim to be standing up to. We all know that you are well aware about all the crimes and atrocities the regime and its nasty dictator committed before and after independence and you NEED TO SPEW it so people should know. Unlike the other disingenuous intellectuals, we have a great confidence on you and have a duty to let our people know all the crimes committed against them. If you don’t mind, would you please stop using the words such as “president” because he simply doesn’t deserve it.
    Thank you.
    Happy New Year for all,

    Ato Kasahun
You are a smart man. Good for you.
I just don’t understand your statement about the mass exodus of young Eritrean. You stated that it is not bad for young Eritrean to leave their beloved country. You can’t be serious. You compared the Philippine’s case to the Eritrean crisis. The Philippine case is not the same as the Eritrean one. Philippine has been exporting its skilled and professional citizen for lucrative income for the rest of its people. You seems to be out of touch about the nation of Eritrea. The young Eritrean who are running for their lives from the worst dictator in history are noting like the Philippines. The youth who are leaving Eritrea are not only uneducated and without any kind of skills, they are psychologically and/or physically damaged. Their lives have been deliberately ruined.

    Cont Ato kasahun
The Philippines are not “refugee” They are exports and they have no problem to come back to their country any time. Thy don’t need a yellow slip form. How about the population, I am sure you know Philippines population is >98 million VS Eritrean 2, or 3 or 4 million, who knows? The mass exodus in Eritrea is a crisis, but the Philippines’ case is a way of life.
Fyi, Please stop addressing the worst dictator as “President”. You are validating him.

You seems to be idealistic for a very educated man. Each country in Africa has to be stable within respected boundary, before coming together to establish a successful alliance with their neighbors.
    God bless the Eritrean people.
    Genet-O
