ሱር ዘለዎ ዝምድና ኤርትራን ሱዳንን:ሎሚ ኣይግድን እንዳ ኮነ ይመጽእ ኣሎ::ሱዳናውያን ኣብ ብሬታዊ ቃልሲና ዓዶም መናሃርያ ሰውራ ዝነበረትን:ንዜጋታትና ክሳብ ሕጂ ኣዕቂባ እትርከብ ሃገር ኢያ::ሽሕ ኡካ ፖሎቲካ ንኩነታት ይጸልዎ ተኾነ ክም መንግስቲ ንዘጋታትካ ዘዕቆበትልካ:ኣብ ግዜ ናጽነት ዝሓገዝትካ:ታሪኻዊ ዝኾነ ዝምድና ኣህዛብ ዘለዋወን ሃገራት :ከምዚ ዓይነት ናይ ዝበላዕካሉ ጻሕሊ ሚስባር ኣካይዳ: ንብልክዕ ጥቅሚ ህዝቡ ዘገድሶ መንግስቲ ከምዚ ዓይነት ተርእዮ ክምህዝ የሕፍር ኢዩ::ኣሙሉ ስለዝኾነ እንታይ ይበሃል::ከም ሃገር ንዲፕሎማሲ:ከም ጎሮበት ንድሕነት :ህዝቢታት ክትሓስብ ዘይምኽኣል ናይ ዘይበሰለ የእምሮ ኣተሓሳስባ ኢዩ::”ዓሻ ኣብ ክንዲ ብየእሙሮኡ ብዕድሚኡ ይጀሃር ከም ዝበሃል” ውልቀመላኺ ዝኣዘዞ ሕጊ ተፈጥሮ ውን ነይ የፍርሶ ዝኾነ መራሒ ዱቦላ ወዲቁና::

ምስዚ ዝተኣሰሰር ዛዕባ: ሓደ ካብ ህግደፍ ዝጥቀመሉ መላ ግንዛበ ዘድሊዮ::ንውሽጣዊ ሽግር መሊሱ ክኸርር እሞ እቲ ህዝቢ ኣብ ክንዲ ንጽባሕ ዝሓስብ ብዛዕባ ድራር ለይቱ ክጭነቅ መታን ሽግራት  ክወሳስኸሉ ጸኒሑን ኣሎን::ንካብ ደገ ዝመጾ ምዕዝምዛማት ንምግታእ  ን ኣብ ወጻኢ ዝርከቡ ዜጋታት ኣፎም ክዕጹዎም ከም ኦም ዝኣመሰሉ ኣብ ስደት ዝተወደቡን ኣብ ስደት ዝተወልዱ:ብሲሚዒት ዝጋዓዙ ኤርትራዊያን ኣኻኺቡ YPFDJ ብዝብል ሽም መጋጥምቲ ጋንታ ፈጢሩልና::ሑሉፍ ሓሊፊ እዞም ተቃወምቲ ናብ ዶባት ጥራሕ ኣይ ይምጹኡና:ተደሊዮም ዶሞዝ ውን ክንህቦም ኢና ክብል ተዛሪቡ::እዚ ማለት ንኣባላት ደንበ ተቃውሞ YPFDJ ኢዩ ዓቅሙኹም ዘስምዕ ባጫ: ዒራ እንታይ ከይገብሩ ናይ ንዕቀት ዘረባ::ንሕና ተቃወምቲ ከኣ ምስኦም ክን ቖራቖስ ንዑኦም ከነእምን:ንፈሊጡ ዝደቀሰ ነው ኒውካ ነይሰሚዕ ከምዝበሃል:ምስ ዘይ መቃልስቲና ንቃለስ ኣለና::
ቃልስና ንሓድሕድና ኣይኮነን!

ውግእሲ ተጀሚሩ እስከ ንበል YPFDJ ዲዮም ዓዲ ኣቲዮም ክከላኸሉ:ወላስ ድራር ለይቲ ዘይብሎም:ዝጠመዩላ:ፍረ ዘርኦም ከይረኣዩ ዕድመ ንእስነቶም ዘብሉዩላ ዘለው እንደገና ክሞቱላ ተፈሪዱዎም ዘሎ መን ዩ ክሞተላ::ምስትውዓል ዝሰኣና ንመስል::ንሕና ተቃወምቲ እዚ ጉዳይ ብጾሎተ ፍትሓት ጥራሕዩ ዝፍታሕ ዝመስለና ውን ካብኦም ብዘይፍለ ምስትውዓል የድልየና ኢዩ:: ንሕና ኣባላት ደንበ ተቃውሞ ቃልስና ኣንፈቱ ዘትሓዝናዮ ኣይንመስልን:: እዚ ከኣ ኢዩ መንዴዓት ኮይኒ ቀኒዕና ከይንኸይድ ገሩና ዘሎ::ንቂድሚት ምኻድ ግዜኡ ሕጂ ኢዩ::ኢዚ ተኸሲቱ ዘሎ ኩነታት :ኣብ ህዝብና ክቱኮስ ተጻዊዱ ዘሎ ነታጊ  ኣባላት ሃንደሳ የድሊዩና ኢዮም::እዚ ከኣ ኩሉ ፈተውቲ ሃገር:ኣባል ደንበተቃዋሚን: ብ ሓፈሻ ውራይና ሙኻኑ ግንዛበ ክሓድረና ኣለዎ::ንምከር::ኢቲ ቀላይ ብግሊ ሓንቢስና ክንወጾ ኮቶ ኣይንኽእልን ኢና::እዚ ዕድል ንህዝብና ንምድሓን ነቲ ዘሎ ፍርሒ ናይ ተዘክር ስእሊ ኣብ ምቅባእ ክንጽዕር ክሕግዘና ኢዩ::ቃልስና ምስ ህግደፍ እምበር ምስ YPFDJ ኣይኮነን::ጠመተና ቁዋማዊት ሃገር ንምንዳፍ ኢዩ::መን የምጸኣያ ብዘይ የግድስ::ከም ኤርትራውያን ንብዓት ሓድሕድ ክንደራረዝ እምበር:ቁስሊ ሓድሕድ ክንሰቃስቅ ኣይ ግባእን::ንጽባሕ እምበር ብትማሊ ኣይንጨነቅ::

እዚ ሕጂ ተኸሲቱ ዘሎ ወደባትና ንኢማራንመሬትና ንግብጽን:ምፍሕፋሕ ምስ ሱዳን ጫፍ ተረኺቡዎ ተኾነ ገና ዘይተቦቆጸ:ግን ክኣ ብምጅማሩ ጥራሕ ስክፍታታን ስግኣታትን ወጥሪን ኮታ ኩሉ ዓይነት ፍርሒ ኣብ ነፍስወክፍ ዘጋ ኣሎ::እቲ ዝምድና ሱዳንን ታሪኻዊ ምስሉን ንርኣዮ::
ኣብ 60ታት ዝነበረ ዋሕዚ ስደት ናብ ሱዳን ህያው ሰነድ ኢዩ ክመሃረሉ ንዝደሊ ::ብጌጋ ከይ ትርድኡኒ:እዚ ክብለና ዘኽእሎ ከም ኤርትራውያን ክንሓስብ ጸግዒ ሃገርና ክንከውን ደኣ እምበር ንዝኾነት ሃገር ኣብ ልዕሊ ንፈትዋ ሃገርና ኣብሊጽና ክንርኢ ኣይግባእን::ግን ከኣ ጌጋታት ምስ ዝረአ ኣይፋል ክንብል ሞራላዊ ግደታ ኣላና::ከም ጎሮበት መጠን ኣቀዲመ ዝተንከፍኩዎ ውሁብ ኮይኑ: ሱዳን ኣብ ጹንኩር ኡዋን ዜጋታትና ኣዕቂባ:ንቃልስና ድጋፋ ሂባ:ጥራሕ ዘይኮነ: ምስህዝቢ ሱዳን ዝተዋሓሓጥናያ ጸጸር : ህያብ “ዓንጋረብ”ከሰላን ተሰነይን ኢያ::እዚ ድማ ፕረዲዘንት ኒሜሪ ዝበሎ:
ምስ ኤርትራውያን ኣሕዋትና ወላ ውን ሓንቲ ከኒና ጥራሕ ተሊያትና ንሳ ውን ክንማቀላ  ኢና::ኢዚ ኡኹል መርትዖ ጽቡቅ ጉርብትና ህዝብታ ክልቲአን ሃገራት ኢዩ::

ኣባላት ደንበተቃወምቲ ብሓፈሻ:ሃገራውያን ደለይቲ ፍትሒ :ኣብ ውድባት ዘለኹም ኮነ ብውልቂ ትቃለሱ ዘለኹም ::ናይ ሕልና ጉዙኣት ከም ሙኻንኩም መጠን  እዚ ኩነታት ኮነ እዚ መድረኽ ድርብ ሓላፍነትዩ ዘሰክመኩም ዘሎ::እቲ ቆላሕታኣብ 3 ክድህብ ኣለዎ::እቲ ውራይ ናትና ሙኻኑ ፈሊጥና ክንገብሮ ዝግበኣና ነገር ኩሉና ውድባት ነዚ ተኸሲቱ ዘሎ መዓልታዊ ምክትታል ከድልየና ኢዩ::ምስ ዘን ጎሮባብቲ መንግስታት ብኣገባብ ክዝተ ኣለዎ::ስክፍታታትናን ዱሉውነትናን ከነረጋግጸሎም ኣለና::ሽሕ ኡካ ውሽጣዊ ኣካይዳኦም :ንዕኦም ዘዐውቶም  ምሳና ክካፈሉ ቡዙሕ ትጽቢት ተዘይ ገበርና:እቲ ዝመጽእ ለውጢ ቀየስቱ ባዕልና ኤርትራውያን ሙኻና ከነብርሀሎም ኣለና::ንጽጥታ ዞባና ክሕግዝ ውን ናትና መስርሕ ክንክተል ኣለና::ኩነታት በሲሉ ኢዩ::
መቅሎብ በለስ ዘድሊዮ ስራሕ ኢዩ ተሪፉ ዘሎ::እዚ ናይ ደገ ጻዕሪ ኮይኑ ብውሽጢ ድማ ብዑቱብ ክተሓዝን ብሓያል ናህሪ ክስጉም መታን ሓያል ጎስጋስን ጻዕርን ክህሉ ይግባእ::ለውጢ ብዝኾነ ይምጻእ ንሕና ስብ ውራይ ሙኻናን እዚ ቃልሲ ዋንነትና ሙኻኑ ክንኣምን ኣለና::ብባዕዳውያን ዝመጽእ ኣይንደልን እንዳበልካ ደብተራ ፈታሒ ሕልሚ ካብ ሙኻን ንበራበር::ሕማቅ ንከይትሓልም ድቃስ ለይቲ ምስኣን ወጊድ ንበሎ::እዚ መበሊየይ ኣብ ባይታ ዝራእኩዎ ተዛዊረ ዝተዓዘብኩዎን ኢዩ::እዚ ተፈሺሊ ሓቀኛ ተቃለስቲ ስለ ዘይረኸበ እምበር ብልክዕ ኩነታት ስለዜይበሰለ ኣይኮነን::
ኢታ ምርጫ ኣብ ኢድና :እታ ከዑሾ ውን ኣብ መዳና ኢያ ዘላ::እታ በሲላ ዘላ በለስ ድራር ጨራሩ ከይትኸውን ሽንካር የድልየና ኣሎ::እዚ ምስ ኣብ ውሽጢ ንዘሎ ውህደት ተተገሩ በዚ ወሊዑዋ ዘሎ ባርዕ ኣብ ገጽና ደኪኑዎ ዘሎ ዕንብረ ጸርጊ ክኾኖ ኢዩ::

    It is a grave situation and it is a timely call,however,with all due respect to the writer, it is the other way around,the EDF is desperately calling for somebody to rescue them from the indefinite quarantine,because they are armed doesn’t mean they gonna use it to free themselves. When they say it is a nation ruled by fear,that includes the armed segment as well,it is a crippling fear that leaves the finger frozen on the trigger.Remember the soldier translator in the movie Private Ryan in the heated firefight on the bridge,even though he can hear his fellow soldier taking the final gasp from a bayonet buried in his chest upstairs,while he was fully armed with a machine gun and a bullet chain wrapped around him,he was overcome by fear to the point he let the German soldier who just killed his buddy stroll by him. Guns alone don’t fire,it takes people to accomplish that goal- AT THE RIGHT TARGET.

      So, in Eritrea’s case, the hope that the author is pinning on EDF might not necessarily look like the aforementioned examples; rather something uniquely Eritrean that speaks to the wretched situation in which it might just take one brave soul to write the ending of this badly scripted movie we are watching to see its ending. We’re all hoping the ending won’t a messier one and the beginning of the new to be one that shift of the paradigm for a fresh beginning as you aptly asked this:

      Indeed, a boat load of error was made by the clique that is wreaking havoc. Just yesterday I had a phone conversation about this very subject with a young student who arrived in the US recently, and the horrors of incompetency – in educational institution – alone that she conveyed to me vis-a-vis bringing incompetent Indians to teach in Eritrea, ones who bribed their to Eritrea to teach at the university level, was enough to chill my bones. Of course, I can get any PhD diploma in any field from India via mail – heck – there is a factory that produces these diplomas without having the to open any book, one can own credentials for, that’s the nightmare scenario this young woman was conveying to me. And this was a way the regime has systematically tried to see the demise of intellectual culture that Eritrea had maintained through successive occupiers, but its homegrown sons and daughters are doing this eternal damage, which will takes several generations to regain our composure vis-a-vis this particular issue of educational institution. I don’t wanna even start on other components that the damage has ensued unabated for the last 26 years.

      By the way, it so happened I used you as one of the unique younger generation Eritrean voices coming to the scene after the October 31st uprising. I attempted to make some connection to such a phenomenon with the area of inquiry I am familiar with: Social Science. Here is what I said at awate forum and wouldn’t hurt to repeat here. PFDJ has perfected the art of discord, of injecting doubts in the air whenever it senses a threat from any pockets of resistance. You know in the world of social sciences in general and their methodological approaches – as in qualitative research – in particular goes through evolutionary epochs, because new way of looking at scholarly world comes to challenge the prevailing methodological inquiry. Particularly, anthropology goes through this, what they term as “the crisis of revolution of representation”. Whenever such opening comes to occupy the scholarly space, the sensory overload is very apparent in the scholars of the field who go on churning epistemologies, theoretical frameworks that jives with the emerging concepts, thoughts, and ideas. want in on …no doubt, it is intellectually engaging.

      In the aftermath of the Akhriya uprising, aka, “crisis of revolution of representation” brought forth “the text to new voices”…one of whose textual voice I am finding mesmerizing is Mohammed Ismail. It so happened, he has written a new article that I implore you and forumers to give him a listen and/or a read to.

      Of course, the flip-side to these emerging voices the social scientist contend creates “erosion of authority”; in our case, it would be no other than the regime at the helm of power … it is being weakened by these episodic crises and the subsequent voices that are emerging. Much as the old-school would have to make room for the new scholarly lens, not so much that it has become irrelevant as a lens but on the account that it served its useful purpose for its time, thus it must make the space for the new lens to have its chance to reign in until another comes along to do away with the new voice. So, goes the cycle. So, the regime’s authority has been eroding, albeit too small and too slow for our taste.

      Any who, these are the kind of new voices we must begin to listen to, because they are one generation at a remove … there is some hope that we may eventually find that intersectionality where generations across the board are coming together to find a way forward from the relentless saga and crises after crises we are being made spectators to. There must come a time where a space could conceivably be opened to the arbiters of peace, prosperity, just that sheer right to exist in this life without having to become casualties of this cruel world that we see our young are being subjected to, day-in-day-out.
