the government of DIA didn’t/doesn’t show any reaction, not even a sign. This means the doer/persecurtor is not far from home, but at home. DIA has ceated a second Guantanamo in Sinai ! Don’t look some wehere in Egypt/Israel.

Hi John how is life going in U.S.But as a human being u should’nt say all my family live in U.S.All my family also live in overseas, thank God all we are educated have good job and a business as well. And then we are still really care about our country.Because the brave young Eritrean’s keep saying (sdet) is not a solution.the reason is that religion, culture, weather,no descrimnation, and really not much stress,if have some money means thousand’s u can do it what ever u want a business and any where of the big cities. As u said it’s a matter of don’t have a family member in the bloody SAWA.I think before u say or write anything think ten times.

I am enjoying life here in america. As long as I take care of my family who are residing in asmara, who cares about what the PFDJ is doing. as long as they dare not touch my family I am ok with them. Thanks God i do not have any close family member in the sawa maAsker so far. I dont have any problem with PFDJ as long as they dare not touch my families life or business. I love Asmara , even my kids who visits it every 2yrs love it, too. they love playing on the beaches of massawa. my younger son who is now 21 is so crazy about deki asmara girls. I hope one day when he finished his masters he might live for good in asmara. Anyway we are thinking of visiting SAWA next summer. hope they will like it seeying eri-youth marching in military …yeas people say sawa is good for youth.

    • Abdi January 22, 2012

Indeed sawa is good it produces patriots and good wo/men far from your selfishness.i hope you don’t pass your selfishness to ur kids.meghay zemedu.

      • halengi sewra January 22, 2012

why? it is not being selfish or meguhayi zemedu but it is reality. why do i care about another people`s miseries? I am ok with my family. I support PFDJ. I have even flew from Cali. to see wedi afom gigna. I donate money regularly. Do i have to oppose issayas ? why? I dont see any thing that is not irrational. they are doing their best. one more thing, my kids know everything and they care more for america nay eritrea and they only think america when they want to have some summer fun in asmara. I am successful that they have completed their education. and they know what is best for them.

John, I don’t know if that is your real name???? It is really hard to imagine that how some people can be selfish and inhumane like yourself. I don’t wish anything bad to happen to your family and kids, but I pray to God that a day will come that you regret what you just wrote here. What goes around comes around. Those Eritreans in Sawa are sacrificing so much so your kids can enjoy safe and peaceful Eritrea. Shame on You!!! and I am sure your kids would be ashamed if they know how selfish and inhuman you are!!!!!!!!!!

      • halengi sewra January 22, 2012

my real name is reflection-of-the-opportunist-PFDJ-supporter. I wrote what I heard from false self-centered cadres. are you satisfied selam or selemawit? MaAntay hariru mada ni mada koyne zeleku eye…bisenki wedi lenkatit ayte issayas.

    የማነ ገብረእግዚኣብሄር and his friends:
Thank you for speaking up your mind and echoing the cries of the Eritreans suffering in Sudan and Egypt. This crime is taking place under Egyptian and Sudanese territory and should bear full responsibility, as the crime taking place in Eritrea is Eritrea’s.
I urge Eritreans to listen to this brief VOA Tigrinia broadcast about the recently kidnapped and enslaved young Eritreans with full evil “cooperation” of the Sudanese Police and Eritrean residents in Kessela.

what should we do? talk , demonstrate….or….kill issayas. I do not see any solution without any action on eritrean ground.

  • Abnet Tesfai January 22, 2012

Eritrean people now is the cheapest person in the world because the dictator made every individual to be vagrant beggar all over the world’s streets. this is deliberately done by the dictator to drain Eritreans to make Eritrea suitable place for him to stay in power alone. because he knows that if he is dismantled from power he will be slaughtered like a goat because of his recurrent crimes over the eritrean people.
therefore as crime maker( the dictator), he will never surrender his power to the public peacefully and nether he will work to save the eritrean people from all the fatal facing everywhere in the world. because no criminal works to prevent other criminals except to abet directly or indirectly as it will be good opportunity for him to hide him self amidst the melee occurring.
thus the eritrean people should not expect any support from the dictator for his safety or survival.
ERITREA IS NOW IN COMPLETE ANARCHY.

John, I don’t get it at all why you come to this web site (Asena) if you don’t care about others. If everybody think like you –my Wife, my business, my children my..my my..you would not go back to enjoy your life in Asmara or Massawa. The true Eritrean paid their life you and like you can have home to come back. They had reason to die, unfortunately your reason to live be worthless. In a country now you live, you have also responsibility not only right.
Today my family can be victim of the PFDJ vision less policy but tomorrow yours .If we don’t come together and stand for every Eritreans right later or sooner the problem will knock every house so let we say enough is enough before it is too late

john, I do not know how old you are, but, I’m the eight(8) years old girl in the picture. Born in the U.S.A., but Eritrea is my country. I’m sad of what you said. You dont have any humanity and that is very sad. I hope you will change .As for me I will continue to care about Eritreans and Eritrea.

    • Kaddis January 24, 2012

Dear Sewit – I am addressing this to you – because your are the youngest here and may learn faster. John is right – he only cares for the people around him and enjoy what Eritrea offers in the meantime. A love for a country is one of the relationship you have among other relationships. I am Ethiopian. I love my country among other things, my family, my kids, my job, my hobby etc. If you take my relationship with my family – it is based on mutual love. They give you love and you return. If they don’t – you may try to love them but only for limited time. You stop. My relationship with my country is also the same – its not unconditional. If my country only wants me for my money, my blood ( my life which I only have one ) my youth – without offering anything in return – I WILL LOOK FOR ANOTHER COUNTRY WHICH GIVES ME THE MINIMUM LOVE AND RESPECT I DESERVE. That is what you are doing – by leaving your country and living abroad – I would also do the same. And that is what John is saying – I guess.

      • sewit gebreegziabher January 24, 2012

        dear kaddis .
did you read john’s comment? what he said is that he does not care for what is happenning to the Eritreans, Ethiopians, Sudanes, in Egypt. I think that is selfish.
