The great thing in Eritrea is not so much where we are, but in what direction we are moving. Our goals can only be reached through a good plan, in which we must passionately believe, and upon which we must energetically act. There is no other route to victory.
United we will win, divided we will lose!

    Dear Prof. Ibrahim,

Thank you for your wonderful contribution. The analysis, the historical perspective and your account of the present Eritrean situation and the worrying prospect in front of us are all spot on. You are right, what you propose is actually the only way forward!!

    Thank you once again, Sir!!

“there was no major ideological difference between the two”, meaning ELF and EPLF.I remember those days when the people came out with TABOT and pleaded to us to set aside our petty differences and fight against the common enemy, but they were turned down by reactionary elements on both sides, while the fighting base welcomed the move.History revisited. We have not learned a bit. Thanks Ustaz Ibrahim,we are fortunate to have sound, and unadulterated minds like you around to put things into perspective.

Thank you for the very realistic assessment about our main problem of unity. As you said it clearly, it is not a matter of where but how strong and knowledgeable we are about our national interest. All nations work for their national interest but we Eritreans at this moment we do not have leaders that work for the interest of our people that is why our youth are treated like animals all over the world. Thanks

Unity has been our central egg, for years our history permits and it’s upto now. We talk about it but we do Little in practical results: evidence multiplied and separated differences, mashrooming oranisations, parties and movements.
Let’s with an independent committeee, intellectuals, to check the organisations differences in their programes each and every, their numbers and memberships and their leaderships roles and responsibilities and their willingsness to accept public debates openly with Sharp journalistic interviews.
Whether their number includes: youth, women and new members yearly or are stagnated organisations, parties or movements.
There are parties less than 10-20 members, no seminars, nor Congress yet termed as parties or worse organisations.
Let us check empirical data on the ground and find out the truth to confront them with.
This task would naturally fit AWATE and ASENA together. Inspire us to have a knowledgable decision of our self!
