ኤርትራዊት ኣደ ባዓለልቲ ድርብ ጊደ፡ ትዋጋእ ከምሰራዊት፡ ትወልድ ትዝምድ ከም’ደ። ናይ ገዛኣ ዘዉዲ፡ ናይ ሃገራ ዕርዲ፡ ናይ ሞራል ማኣዲ። ኤርትራዊት ምጭዉቲ ምልክዕቲ፡ ወዘሪት ኣፍሪቃ ዓይኒ ከዋኽብቲ፡ ሰፊሕ ልቦንኣ ተማኽር ተዛቲ። ጅግና ሓፍተይ ኤርትራዊት፡ ብረታ ተሓንጊጣ ኣብ በረኻ ዝሐደረት፡ ሞራል ተጋዳላይ ዝደረበት ዝደርዔት። ቁልቁለት ወሪዳ ንዓቐብ ትደግም፡ ኒሕ ዝቕናታ ዘይትደክም፡ ናብ

ብረታ ተሓንጊጣ ኣብ በረኻ ዝሐደረት፡
ሞራል ተጋዳላይ ዝደረበት ዝደርዔት።
ቁልቁለት ወሪዳ ንዓቐብ ትደግም፡
ኒሕ ዝቕናታ ዘይትደክም፡
ናብ መስዋእቲ ትጎዪ ትቕድም።
ናብ ታንክታት ዝደየበት ነብሪ፡
ግንባር ጊንዳዕ ዉዒላቶ ወፍሪ፡
ጎልጎል ኣምሁር ዉዒላቶ ወፍሪ፡
ንመሬት እናሃበት ምቕሊ፡
ኣስመራ ኣትያታ ብቐትሪ።

እታ’ደ ገንዘባ ሂባ ወርቃ ትደግም፡
ንርእሰይ ከይበለት ከተጋይጽ ክትህብትም፡
ንኹሉ ገዲፋ ንሃገር ተቐድም።
ደኺመ ከይበለት ተወፊያ፡
ሰመንቶ ወልዊላ ሰዉርኣ ኣሳሊያ፡
ንኹሉ ሲዒራ መሰስ ኢላ ወጺኣ።
ታሪኽ ኣንበሳ ዋዕሮ ፡
መንከ’ሎ ዘይዝክሮ?
ንዓለም ዘገረሞ ዘስተንከሮ።
ጅግንነታስ ብጽፈት ዛዚማቶ፡
ዓስባኸ ከመይ ረኺባቶ ?

To let one mercenary destroy our land, our people and our culture.

To let the dictator kill our heroes, our disable veterans, jail our parents and our religion leaders and members.
The dictator must go!
– His boss (Mubarak of Egypt) is thrown out of power in jail.
– His adored brother (Gaddafi) was killed like a rat.
– The international community’s talking peace and carrying big stick [sanctions] is having an effect.
– The Eritrean people are beginning to realize that there is no point in waiting for the regime to reform itself – that it needs to be overthrown.
