ኤርትራ ልኡላዉነታ ካብ ተረጋግጽ ንመጀመርያ እዋን መሬታ ንወታሃደራዊ መደበር ክትጥቀመሉ ንሕቡራት ኢማራት ዓረብ ብኽራይ ከምዝሃበት ብሳትላይት ዝተሰነየ ኣሳእል ቀሪቡ። ዕሱባት ስዑዲ ዓረብን፡ መሻርኽታን ዝስልጥንሉ ወታሃደራዊ መዓስከር ደኲነን የሰልጥና ከምዘለዋ ሰሚዕና። ብዘይካ`ዚ ኣብቲ ንየመናዊ ጉጅለ ሑቲ

ኤርትራ ልኡላዉነታ ካብ ተረጋግጽ ንመጀመርያ እዋን መሬታ ንወታሃደራዊ መደበር ክትጥቀመሉ ንሕቡራት ኢማራት ዓረብ ብኽራይ ከምዝሃበት ብሳትላይት ዝተሰነየ ኣሳእል ቀሪቡ። ዕሱባት ስዑዲ ዓረብን፡ መሻርኽታን ዝስልጥንሉ ወታሃደራዊ መዓስከር ደኲነን የሰልጥና ከምዘለዋ ሰሚዕና። ብዘይካ`ዚ ኣብቲ ንየመናዊ ጉጅለ ሑቲ ንምድምሳስ ዝካየድ ዘሎ ወታሃደረዉን ፖለቲካዉን ቃልሲ ብቀጥታን ተዛዋዋርን ትሳተፍ ከምዘላ ብዝተፋላለየ ማዕከናት ዜና ክዝረበሉ ጸኒሑ ኣሎ። ወጻኢ ጉዳያት ስርዓት ህግደፍ ዉን ብቃሉ ታሓላቂ እዘን ሃገራት ብምዃን ንምትእትታዉ ኢራን ኣብ የመን ክኹንን ተሰሚዑ። እዚ ስግር ባሕሪ ዝተባረዐ ኲናት ንግዝያዊ ረብሓ ክብል ህግደፍ ዝፍጽሞ ዘሎ ፖለቲካዊ ምንዝርና እንታይ ፖለቲካዊ መዘዝ (ramification) ክህልዎ ይኽእል ዝብል ሕቶ፡ ኤርትራዉያን ጥራይ ዘይኮና፡ ዞባና ኩሉ ክሓስበሉ ዝግባእ ሓደገኛ ምዕባሌ እዩ።

ስርዓት ህግደፍ፡ ከምዚ ሎሚ ብተነጽሎን ክስታት ምግሃስ ሰብኣዊ መሰላት ከይባህረረ ከሎ፡ ኣብዝኾነ ናይ ማእከላይ ምብራቅ ጉዳያትን ካልኦት ተኣፈፍቲ ዛዕባታትን፡ ዉሽጣዊ መርገጺኡ ብዘየገድስ ዝኾነ ወግዓዊ መግለጺታት ኣይዉጽእን ጥራይ ዘይኮነ ዜናታት እኳ ከይተሰርሓሎም ዝሓልፉ ብዙሓት ዓበይቲ ፍጻሜታት ኔሮም እዮም። ንኣብነት ንጉዳይ ፍለስጢምን እስራኤልን እንተሪኢና ፈጺሙ ሕሩም ወይ ሕዙእ (ኖ ጎ ዞን) እዩ ነይረ። ከምገለ ኢሉ እንተተፈነወ ድማ ብክልቲኦም ወገናት ዝቀረበ መግለጺ ብምሃብ፡ ማእከላይ መርገጽ ሒዝካ ይቀርብ ምንባሩ፡ ጤረጵዛ ዜናን እዋናዊ ጉዳያትን ክፍሊ ዜና ብፍላይ ንወስዶ ዝነበርና መመርሒ ስራሕ እዩ ነይሩ። እቲ ዝዋሃብ ዝነበረ መኽንያት ድማ፡ ንሓድነት ህዝቢ ዝፈታተን ኣርእስትታት ምዉጋድ ከዝምረጽ ዝብል እዩ ኔሩ።

ኣብ ተማሳሳሊ ዛዕባ ኣሜራካን ሳዓብታን  ንስርዓት ሰዳም ሕሴን ንምዕላዉ ኣብ 2003 ክሻባሸባ ከለዋ ገለ ኣመንቲ ምስልምና ከምቲ ኣብ ብዙሓት ሃገራት ዓረብን ካልኦትን ዝረአ ዝነበረ ህዝባዊ ተቃዉሞ ኣብ ከም መንደፈራ፡ ከረንን፡ ኣስመራት ሰለማዊ ሰልፊ ከይካይዱ ፍቃድ ከምዝተኸልከሉ ብርክት ዝበለ እቲ ጉዳይ ዝምልከቶም ኣካል ሕብረተሰብ ኤርትራ ዝዝክርዎ ሓቂ እዩ። መራሒ ህግደፍ ኣብ ብዙሕ ኣጋጣሚ፡ ብዛዕባ እስራኤል ኣብ ደሴታት ቀይሕ ባሕሪ መደበር ተዋሂብዋ እዩ ይባሃል፡ ንዝብል ሕቶ ክምልስ እንከሎ መሬት ኤርትራ ንዝኾነ ናይ ወጻኢ ሓይሊ ኣሕሊፉ ከምዘይህብ እዩ ብትሪ ዝገልጽ ኔሩ። ሎሚ ድኣ እንታይ ተረኽበ ንዝብል ሕቶ፡ ብዙሕ ትንታነ ክቀርበሉ ዝኽእል እኳ ተኾነ፡ ኣብቲ መርዓት እቲ ጉዳይ እንተ ኣተኲርና ግን፡ ኣብ ሰለስተ ነጥብታት ክጣመር ይካኣል።

  1. ካብቲ ብምግሃስ ሰብኣዊ መሰላት ተኸሲስዎ ዘሎ ጉዳይ ኣማለድቲ/ተጣበቅቲ ማሓዙት ኣሜሪካ ንምርካብ።
  2. ንዘለዎ ኩሉ ዓይነት ቁጠባዊ ሽግራት ግዝያዊ ትኳባታት ንምርካብ።
  3. ካብ ተለጽሎ ወጺኻ፡ ዞባዊ ኣበርክቶ ዘለካ ንምምሳል።
  4. ካብቲ ወትሩ ዘስግኦ፡ ወራር ኢትዮጵያ ዘራያት ምርካብ።

ሕጽር ብዝበለ እቲ ብትዕቢትን ትምክሕትን ሰኺሩ ዝነበረ መራሕ ህግደፍ፡ ከምኩሉ ዝብህጋ ጎርዞ ክትልመን ከሪማ፡ ኩሎም ደለይታ ምስተወገኑ ዋላ ምስ ሰብሓደርን ዝሸምገሉን ትጓናባሕ፡ ኢሰያስ ዉን ዓለምን ህዝቡን ዝፈንፈኖ መራሒ ዝለዝኾነ ትፍኡ ክልሕስ ንሪኦ ኣለና። ንዓና ከምኤርትራዉያን ነዚ ብሃገራት ዓረብ ዝፍጸም ዘሎ ምትእትታዉ ኣብ ዉሽጣዊ ጉዳያት የመን ኢድና ክንሕዉስ ይግባእ`ዶ? ነዚ ንፋሱ ኣይልከየና ኢልካ ክትርሕቆ ዝግባእ ግጭት ኣብ ገዛእ ዉሸጤኻ ምእታዉ ሳዕቤኑ እንታይ ክኸዉን ይኽእል። ብመጀመርያ ጠንቅን፡ ዕላማታት እቲ ኲናት ንተዓዘብ።

ብመኽንያት ህዝባዊ ምልዕዓል፡ ብርከት ዝበሉ ንነዊሕ ዓመታት ኮረሻ ስልጣን ብሒቶም ዝጸንሑ መራሕቲ ሃገራት ኣዕራብ ብሃንደበት ተጸሪጎም ክኸዱ ከለዉ፡ ናይ ግዝያዊ ስልጣን መን ጨበጠ ቁርቁስ ጥራይ ዘይኮነ፡ ብሰሩ ዝባኣሰ ተደጒሉ ዝነበረ ናይ ሱንን ሽዓን ጽልኢ ኣጓሃሂሩ ናብ ሓደገኛ መድረኽ ኣሳጋጊርዎ ይርከብ። እተን ኣብዚ ናይ ሱኒ ደንበ ዝዓዘዘ ሓላፍነት ኣለና ኢለን ዝኣምና ሱዑዲ ዓረብ፡ ሕቡራት ኢማራት ዓረብን፡ ምስርን ነቲ ኣብ የመን ምስ ሽዓዊት ኢራን ምትእስሳር ኣለዎ ዝባሃል ወታሃደረዊ ጉጅለ ሑቲ ካብ ተቖጻጺርዎ ዝጸንሐ ከባቢታት ጸሪግካ፡ ነቲ ኣብ ሱዑዲ ተዓቚቡ ዘሎ ፕረሲደንት የመን ዓብዱሮቦ መንሱር ናብ መዝነቱ ንምምላስ ምስ ኩለን ተሓባበርተን ተኣንጎት ተሸብሸብ ይብላ ከምዘለዋ ዓለም ትዕዘቦ ዘላ ሓቂ እዩ። ዛጊት ክሳብ 10 ሽሕ ዝግመት ሂወት የመናዉያን ክጠፍእ ከሎ፡ ቅሉዕ ገበናት ኲናት ዉን ይፍጸም ከምዘሎ ጸብጻባ ዜና የረድኡ።

ኤርትራ ብዝኾነ ኮንትራት ከምዘይብሉ ብገዛእ ቃሉ ዝምስክር፡ ኣብ መወዳእታ ዕድሚኡ ሰንከልከል ዝብል ዘሎ ዕቡድ ዉልቀ ማላኺ ትምራሕ ዘላ፡ ዝኾነ ቅዋም ይኹን ፖለቲካዊ ኣቃዉማ ዘይብላ ሃገር እያ። ንብዙሕ ዓመታት ብስኒትን ምክብባርን ክነብር ዝጸንሐ ሕብረተሰብ እኳ እተሃለዋ፡ ብእምነት ክረአ ከሎ፡ ኣመንቲ ክርስትናን ምስልምና ትዉንን። ነቲ ካብ ነዊሕ ዓመታት ተሰሪቱ ዝጸንሐ ምክእኣል ሓብሒብካ ናብ ድልዱል ሰረት ዘለዎ ሃገራዊ ክብርታት ምስግጋሩ ከቢድ ዕማም ኣይነበረን፡ እንተኾነ ኣብ ኤርትራ ነጊሱ ዘሎ ሽፍታ ጉጅለ፡ ዕምሪ ስልጣኑ ንምንዋሕ ንኩሉ ክብርታት ባሕጒጉ ናብ ኩሉ ሕሱር ምፍልልያት ነቚትና ከምዘሎ ካብ ኩሉ ዝተሰወረ ኣይኮነን።

ኣብ ዉሽጢ ኤርትራ እዚ ፍልልያት እዚ ግሁድ እኳ እንተዘይኮነ፡ ፍልልያት የለን ማለት ግን ኣይኮነን። ብፍላይ ኣብ ጎረባብቲ ሃገራትን፡ ኣብ ካሎኦት ክፍልታት ዓለም እንነብር ዜጋታት ግን ብሰፊሑ ንዕዘቦ ዘለና ተርእዩ እዩ። ኣብ ከም ሱዳን፡ ሱዑዲ ዓረብ፡ ምስርን ዝነብሩ  ብርክት ዝበሉ ኣመንቲ ምስልምና መንእሰያት ኤርትራዉያን፡ እቲ ስርዓት ዘስዓቦ ኩሉ ሕሰም ብህዝቢ ትግርኛ፡ ወይ ኣመንቲ ክርስትና ዝወረደ ሽግር ዝመስሎም፡ ከም ሓደ ፍታሕ ድማ ናብ ሃገራት ዓረብን ምስልምናን ብምጥባቅ ዝተፈልየ መንነት ምሓዝ፡ ከምኣማራጺ ኮይኑ ዝራኣዮም ዜጋታት ከምዘለዉና ምስጢር ኣይኮነን። ካብ ጉዳይ ኤርትራ ጐዳይ ፍለስጢም ዘሕምሞም ወገናት ከምዘለዉና ኣብ ብዙሕ ኣጋጣሚ ተዓዚብና ንኸዉን። ብወገን ገለ ኣመንቲ ክርስትናን፡ ብሄረ ትግርኛን፡ እቲ ጸገም ኣዉራጃዉን፡ ሃይማኖታዉን ካልእን መልክዕ ዘትሕዝዎ ዉን ዉሑዳት ኣይኮኑን። ካብ ናብ ቀንዲ በደለኛ ዝኾነ ህግደፍ ናብ ካልእ ኣእዳዎም ዘዋጣዉጡን፡ መልሓሶም ዘንዉሑን ዉን ኣይተሳእኑን። እዚ ነቀይ ነቀይ ዝብል ዘሎ ስርዓት ጽባሕ ተተፈንሸረ እሞ፡ እዞም  ንትኹልን ንጋድምን ዝሰናጥቑና  ዘለዉ ሓይልታት፡ ካልኦት ተጠጂኦም ዘለዉ ክፍኣታትን ድንቁርናን ዘጻወዶም መፈንጠራታት ጉልባቦም ቀሊዖም ኣብ ጉርፍጥ እንተኣተዉ፡ እዞም ንሺዓ ከይገዝእ ዝቃለሱ ዘለዉ ሓይልታት፡ እንታይ ዓይነት ዳንነት ክህልዎም ይኽእል? እዚስ ኣብ እንዳ ሓሰር ኴንካ ብሓዊ ምጽዋት`ዶ ኣይኮነን ነገሩ።

ሉእላዉነት ኢሰያስ ካብ ልእላዉነት ኤርትራ ንላዕሊ ዘገድሶም ወገናን፡ ነዚ ብዘይዝኾነ ፍቃድ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ዝካየድ ዘሎ መሬት ኤርትራ ናብ ኣዕራብ ኣሕሊፍካ ናይ ምሃብ ዉሳነን፡ ናብ ማሕበር ሃገራት ዓረብ ምትሕቑቛፍን ከምሓደ ዓቢ ዓወት ኣምሲሎም፡ `ወደብ ዓሰብ ኣግማሎም ማይ የስትይሉ` ዝብል፡ ናይ ቀዳማይ ምኒስተር ኢትዮጵያ ቃል ብምጥቃስ፡ ኣገልግሎት ባሕርና ስራሕ ከምዝረኸበ፡ ቃል መለስ ከምዝተሳዕረ ጌሮም ከቅርብዎ ኣብ ከምመስከረም ዝኣመሉ ዌፕ ሳይታት ርኢናዩ ኣለና። እቲ ንገለ ሳዕሪ ካብ እኽሊ ዘይፈልዩ ንቅሓት ንዝጎድሎም ዜጋታት ንምድንጋር ዝሃቀነ መግለጺታት፡ ኤርትራ ሜሬት ንወታሃደራዊ መዓላ ከምዘካረየት ወይ ዝሸጠት ዘይኮነ ከምገለ ሃገራዉን ህዝባዉን ረብሓ ዝርከበሉ መደበር ከምዝተኸፍተ ኣምሲልካ እዩ ክቀርብ ተፈቲኑ። እዞም ምስ ኢትዮጵያ ሕዱር ሕማም ዘለዎም ወገናት፡ ካብ ድሙ ክሃድሙ ናብ ነብሪ ዝሕቆፉ ወይ ንእሽቶይ ርኳን ከይረግጹ ናብ ማይ በላ ዝዘሉ ወገናት፡ ዝኾነ ንነዊሕ ዝጠመተ ራኢን ረብሓታት ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ኣይንታዮምን እዩ እምበር፡ እቲ ሓቂ ባሕርና ኣግማልና ማይ ክሰትያሉ ግዳ ኣየናይ ኣበሳ ኔርዎ። ብዘመን ዉበ ዝጸመመ ዉበ ክብል ነበረ ኮይኑ እምበር ወያነስ ኣብካልእ ጉዳዩ እዩ ዘሎ።

ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ከስተብህለሉ ዝግብኦ ሓቂ ግን፡ ስርዓት ህግደፍ ብዕድልን ሂወትን ደቂ ሃገር ተላጊጹ ከይኣኽሎ፡ ንልኡላዉነት ሃገር ብምድፋር፡ ጽባሕ ናብ ዘይንወጾ ተኼላ ሸሚሙና ይሓልፍ ምህላዉ እዩ። እዘን ብነጋዉስን ጸቢብ ሃይማኖታዉን ኣጠማምታን ጸዕዳ ወይ ጸሊም ሕብሪ ጥራይ ዝጥምታ ናይ ዘበና ጸለዉቲ ሃገራት ዓረብ ኣብ ሕልፍንኝኻ ኣትየን ኣይኮነን ብማዕዶ ጽልወአን በቶም ኣብ ከርሰን ተማሂሮም ዝመጹ ዝኽተልዎ ስነሞጎት ብምዕዛብ ጥራይ እኹል ስእሊ ምርካብ ይካኣል እዩ።

እዚ ድሑርን ሓደገኛን ኩነተ ኣታሓሳስባ  ኣብ ብዙሓት ህዝብታት ሃገራት ኣዕራብ ሱር ዝለዝሰደደ ዲሞክራስያዊ ለዉጢ ባይታ ኣስኢንዎ ይርከብ። በዚ ምኽንያት ድማ ዉለቀ መለኽቲ ወይ ሃይማኖታዉያን ጥሩፋት ተዘይኮይኑ  ንሳልሳይ ኣማራጺ ዝኸዉን ባይታ ዛጊት ኣይተረኽበን። ናይዚ ኣብነት ኣብ ከም ሶርያ፡ ምስርን ዝተፈተነ ህዝባዊ ተቃዉሞ ብዘይፍረ ምትራፉ ሓደ ካብ ቀንዲ መኽንያታት ክግለጽ ይካኣል። እዚ ተላባዒ ሕማም እዚ ኣብ ጎረቤትና ሱዳን ዉን ተዓዚብናዮ ኢና፡ ከምሳዕቤኑ ድማ ሱዳን ናብ ክልተ ሃገራት ተገሚዓ እያ። ምትእትታዉ ካልኦት ሓይልታት ተራ ኣይነበሮን ክባሃል ኣይክእልን`ዮ እንተኾነ እቲ ፈልሲ ክፋእ ግን ካብ ነዊሕ ተተኺሉ ዝጸንሐ እዩ። እዚ ኣብሃገራት ኣፍሪቃ ወይ ካልኦት ኣብ ምምዕባል ዝርከባ ሃገራት ብካልእ መልክዕ ይረአ እዩ፡  ንዓና ብቀረባ ዝጸልወና ግን ዞባና እዩ።

ኣብዚ ክበርህ ዝግብኦ ሓቂ ዓረብ ከምዓሌት፡ ዘርኢ ወይ ቋንቛ ኣይኮነን ተጸሊኡ፡ እንታይ ድኣ እቲ ኣብዘን ሃገራት እዚአን ንመዋእል ሰፊኑ ዘሎ መሰልን ማዕርነትን ዘይሕሉ ሃይማኖ ዝሰረቱ ምሕደራ ጥራይ ዝቅበል ኩነተ ኣእምሮ (mindset) ዘማዕበሎ ፖለቲካዊ ባህሊ እዩ። እዚ ፖለቲካዊ ባህሊ እዚ ንዝኾነ ሕብረ ብዝሑነት ኮነ፡ መሰል እምነታት ኣይፍቅድን እዩ። ብዙሕ ቋንቛታት ምዝራብ ጸጋ እዩ፡ ዝኾነ ሰብ ዝደለዮ እምነት ክኽተል ኮነ፡ እምነታት ክነጽግ ዘየማጉት መሰረታዊ ሰብኣዊ መሰሉ እዩ።

እንተኾነ፡ ዓረብ ስለዝተማሃርካ ወዲ ሓጋዝ ብሌናይ/መንሳዕ/ትግረ ምዃንካ ወይ ወዲ ዓናግር ትግርኛ/ጀበርቲ ምዃንካ መንነትካ ኣይቅየርን እዩ። ከምኡ ግእዝ ዘጽነዐ ወዲ ዓዲ ተከሌዛን ዉን ካልእ መንነት ኣየጥርን እዩ። ከምቲ ምስላ ሱዳናዉያን ዝብሎ `ኣልማሌሁ ቱራስ፡ ማሌሁ ኣሳስ`፣ ባህሊ ዘይብሉ መበቆል የብሉን።  መንነትና ካብ ቋንቛ ኣዴና እዩ ዝጅምር፡ ኣዴኻ ገዲፍካ ሓትነኻ ምንፋቕ ግን ሃገርን ሃገራዉነትን ኣብ ምህናጽ ዓንቃፊ ተራ እዩ ዝጻወት። ከመይ ገመል ዋላ ምህላል እንተለመደ ኣድጊ ኣይከዉንን እዩ፡ ወይ ድሙ እንተነብሐ ከልቢ ኣይከዉንን እዩ። ብቋንቑኡን መቦቖሉን፡ ባህሉን ልምዱን ዘይሕበን ህዝቢ፡ ዶባታ ዘነጸረት ልኡላዊት ሃገር ከማሓድር ኣዝዩ ከምዝጽገም ዘየማትእ ሓቂ እዩ። ኣብዜጋታት እዘን ሃገራት ብዛዓባ ሓንቲ ሃገር ክላዓል ከሎ፡ ዓረባዊት ድያ? ወይ እስላማዊት ድያ? ኢልካ ምሕታት ንቡር እዩ። ከምሓቂ ክኸዉን ዘለዎ ግን ሃገር ናይ ኩሉ ኣብታ ግዝኣት ዝነብር ዜጋ እምበር ናይ ዝተወሰነ እምነት ወይ ዓሌት ሕዛእቲ ኣይኮነትን።

ንሕና ኤርትራዉያን ድማ፡ ዘለና ኩሉ ዓይነት ብዙሕነት፡ ብማዕርነት ከጽንዕ ዝኽእል ቅዋማዊ መንግስቲ ከይሰረትና ምስ ከምባዓል ሱዑዲ ዝኣመሰላ ሃገራት ኣብኪዳን ምእታዉ ማላት ጽባሕ ድሕሪ ህግደፍ፡ ንባዓል ነጎዳ ብሓዊ ምድባስ እዩ ክኸዉን። ልኡላዉነትካን መንነትካን ኣኽቢርካ ምስ ዝኾነት ሃገር ንግዳዉን ካልእ ሓባራዊ ረብሓታት ህዝብኻን ኣብ ዘደንፍዕ ንጥፈት ምስታፍ ልቦና  እዩ። እዚ ዉልቀ ምላኺ ካብ ገበናቱ መታሃድምቲ ዝኾንዎ ናይ ገበን ብጾት ንምርካብ ዝገብሮ ዘሎ ሓደገኛ ኣካይዳ ግን ኩሉ ብናይ መጻኢ ኤርትራ ዝሓምም ዜጋ ካብ ናይ ቀደሙ ብዝዓዘዘ ክላዓለሉ ዝግባእ ጉዳይ እዩ። ስርዓት ኢሰያስ ሓደ እግሩ ኣብ ጉድጓድ ዝኣተወ፡ ዘይተቀብረ ሬሳ እኳ እንተኾነ፡ እዚ ብሽም ሃገርና ዝጽወት ዘሎ ቁማር ምሳና ምስ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ዝተርፍ ዕዳ ከምዘለዎ ምስትዉዓል የድሊ። ካብ በሰላ ህግደፍ ናብ ካልእ ጽኪ ተዓሚትካ ምኻድ ሕማምካ ምርባሕ እዩ። እብዚ ዘይከሓድ ሓቂ ናትና ናይ ኤርትራዉያን ጸገማት ክፋእ የብልናን፡ ንጹሃን ኢና ካብ ሃገራት ወሽመጥ ዓረብ ጥራዩ ሕማም ዝመጸና ማለት ኣይኮነን፡ እንተኾነ ንባዓል ሽኮርያ ብዝሒ ደም ምዉሳኽ ሞቱ ምቅልጣፍ እዩ ዝኸዉን።

    For the record lets clear the facts to help our new writers like brother Aman .
    The writer of the article said Eritrean Moslems in Keren , Mendefera and Asmera requested permission from
    Eritrean government for public demonstration against USA invasion in IRAQ in 2003 . Are you sure my friend ?
    As far as most of us observed the whole situations from 1991 to 2003 obviously our people felt the PAIN of injustices under oppressive government that forced them to surrender for fear .
    Hawna Aman need to revisit his memory about the dark day on 2001 in Eritrean history before he picks
    his pen to teach us about our identity complexions . When you write misleading information based on emotions , rumors or street talks you lose credibility . It reminds me about remarks of educated Eritrean with masters degree to tell me arrogantly that he thought all Moslems supported Saddam Hussein .

    Eritrea is a country of multiple identities and as such other than Eritrean National Identity, people have every right to claim where they hail from in terms of race and cultural identity and feel proud about it.. The fact that we are one people, Eritreans, does not necessarily mean we are of the same race.
    Some Eritreans are of Arab decent or they claim be so, its their right to claim so. You cannot force them to be Habesha by force. As long as they don’t say we are not Eritreans, they can claim to be anything. Because you hate Arabs, their race, culture and religion is doesn’t mean others have to change their identity to make you happy.
    In a country like Eritrea, much like everywhere in Africa, people can share pre-colonial history, ethnicity, race, religion etc with neighbors. We in Eritrea share a lot with all our neighbors some of whom happen to be Arabs and others Africans, that is because we are in the middle of both continents. The case of Eritrea is similar to that of Malta that shares a lot of history with the Arab world and Europe. Tigrigna because of it’s Geez origin which is a South Arabian old Semitic language, shares at least a third of its vocabulary with Arabic. Despite that, there is a Tigrigna supremacist element, like those working for the regime, who want Eritrean Muslims to be assimilated in Tigrigna culture and abandon their interest in Arabic language and culture. This is really a disservice to Tigrigna language which so far has been out of discussion, as many Muslims think it’s their National Language even when their own languages is not seen anywhere in government offices.
    Those of you who think anti-Arab propaganda will force people to change their mind on Arabic language and its importance in their daily life, are fighting a war you will never win.

    I thought you wrote this article because you worried isayas’s action. It seems contradictory to me.

    I also agree with what Ahmed S. comment. I don’t even think any one try to demonstrate in Eritrea at all. Don’t try to generalize by saying Muslims. Not good and not true.

    I have seen so many articles because of lack of unity. To get an answer for that, refer to Foro 12 interviews. HGDF were targeting specific region and blame the victims again. If we don’t realize that, there will never come unity.
    Too much cover ups and avoiding the to address the root causes resulted the dysfunctional Eritrean society.

    Brother Aman Goitom. I appreciate your concerns and the detailed analysts you have scripted. But if you would have been one of the resident of the Gulf Countries, your article is out of touch. WE know what Iran and its surrogates, the Houthis are planning. Irrespective of the government in Eritrea, helping avert Iranian agenda is a noble contribution particularly for the Muslim community in the region.
    I see more Eritreans so called academicians are writing to several media outlets, but all adds to nothing than rhetoric . Isnt it a waste of time?

    It all boils down the best weapon of reading between the lines,exposing hidden innuendos,and exfoliating subtle messages is literacy,wisdom,raw knowledge and at times formal education.I admire the three commentators Ahmed Saleh,Kamal,Simon G. for dissecting the flaws of the above article.In closing,all Arabs are not Muslims and all Muslims are not Arabs.’Nations are the inevitable products of capitalism’, so is Eritrea a conglomeration of people of so many ethnic groups from different origins in one topographical border,now who is telling who to speak in what language and for what reason? can one impose on the other not to pride themselves of their kushite,hamite,nubian,semite……origin. A nation is a market place that brings people together for a mutual benefit thereby forging a common economic language and national consciousness.Any other attempt to define a nation is divisive and opportunistic way of pitting citizens of that nation against each other..

    Dear Aman:
    Amman Goitom raised an interesting and timely discourse. It gives rise to the burning question of, “ How do the just seekers address the involvement of PFDJ in the Yemeni Civil war?”
    He explained adequately why PFDJ decided what Andrew Korybko – Global Research wrote “Asmara has come in from the cold and is now closely collaborating with one of the most aggressive unipolar military blocks in history”. I watched BBC news yesterday 6/12/16 and seen the tragedy of the People of Yemen – the destruction of the country side, children are dying of malnutrition. The BBC launched A fund raising campaign to help the civilians – 7 million people are threatened by famine. And Eritrea has become part of this tragic war. The people of Eritrea has no say in this, they have never been part of all the wrong an controlling policies that affects their life.
    The discourse of kamal articulating the right of people to entertain their specific religion and culture is educational. We have to celebrate and promote Eritreans diversity and its various cultural richness. What it needs is to raise the level of consciousness of the people.

    The case of Palestinians is the case of justice – The left leaning Ethiopian Student Union – were pro-Palestinians, because they are unfairly treated by Israel. In fact the ELF and EPLF claimed to be “Ant-Imperialism, Anti- Zionism and Anti-Feudalism” movements. It doesn’t mean it is anti- Jews. There are many Jews organisations who claim to be anti-Zionism. It those enlightened Jews who are against the deportation of Eritrean refugees in Israel and do advocate justice for African refugees in Israel.

How about the foreign fighters in Syria and Iraq now?     I have been so much perplexed for quite sometime that some Muslims have been trying to muzzle the editorial freedom of Assenna.com ? Isn’t Assenna a free media platform that advocate freedom of expression ? Why didn’t they bark at an article that was posted last week under the title ” Scarico 1″? Is there any indication covertly or otherwise that points Assenna foundation is an Islamic affiliated website like that of Al-nahda or Al-Islah websites that don’t usher relevant topics of discussion pertinent to Eritrea’s future?This question should also be answered by the foundation’s editorial board. What is wrong with the writer who is poking his readers a question in their mind and tell them that the so called “Eritrean Muslims” are Muslims first,Arabs second and Eritreans third? What is wrong with the writer stating that the Article of Faith of Muslims is called “Umma” or ummat al-Islamiyah -the Islamic Community? By far,at this time in history,the majority of Eritrean Christian community are convinced that this is the reality that they will be dealing with.So,why are they being bothered for this enlightenment that are surfacing every now and then? There is nothing wrong to write and make understand your people who are the internal and external threats of our future and how we will deal with it. Thank you Amanuel for this great article.       Jacob Abraham, I agree absolutely 100% with your precise and timely observation.
      However, I don’t agree with your “Muslims are Eritreans third” comment at all as I feel
      Eritrea is just like a convenient store for the Muslims.. The truth is that the Muslims rebelled because they simply hated the very idea of a Christian king or country (Ethiopia) ruling over them and with their Arab backers hoped to eventually Arabize and Islamize poor Eritrea. We should not be fooled or deceived by their fake patriotic acts and rhetoric. For Muslims anywhere in the world Islam and Arab is their only country and affiliation.
      The opportunist Islamist subscribes group view Eritrea’s political imposes through the lenses of Islamic worldview. They believe religion and politics are the two sides of a coin. They also blame the incumbent Eritrean government is dominated by Christians by marginalizing Muslims. In an event of a new government, if possible, they aspire to establish Islamic law (sharia), if not at a bare minimum a Muslim need to be the head of state!! Doing so, would eventually enable them for Eritrea to acquire membership in the Arab league, strengthening the heavily contested Arabic identity and language of the country. They also unashamedly and strongly oppose institutionalization of mother language in the primary educational, instead advocate for Arabic.
      How could you trust or see such kind of opportunist and coward people as Eritreans?
