ካብ ምልዕዓል ኣኽርያ ዝተቐስመ ትዕዝብቲ*

ነቲ ኣብ ኣኽርያ ዝተላዕለ ህዝባዊ  ሰላማዊ ሰልፊ፡ ዝተፈላለያ ማዕከናት ዜና  ከምቲ ዝነበሮኣቃሊሐንኦ እየን።   ኣብ ዝተፈላለየ ኩርናዕ ዓለም ዝርከቡ ደለይቲ ፍትሒ እውን ነቲ ምልዕዓል ደጊፎም ድምጾምኣስሚዖም። ደላይ ፍትሒ ኬንካ ፍትሒ ንዝጠልብ ድምጽን ጠለብን ውጹዓት ክትድግፍ ከኣ ንቡር እዩ። እቲ ዘይንቡርን ካብ ትጽቢት ወጻእን ግን፡ ብፍላጥ ኮነ ብዘይፍላጥ፡ ነቲ ምልዕዓል፡ ዘይትርጉሙን መልክዑን ምሃብ እዩ። ብዛዕባ እቲ ፍጻሜ ዓሚቕ ግንዛበ ከይሓዝካ፡ብጸቢብ ባዕላዊ ስምዒት ተገዚእካ፡ ነቲ ድምጺ

ነቲ ኣብ ኣኽርያ ዝተላዕለ ህዝባዊ  ሰላማዊ ሰልፊ፡ ዝተፈላለያ ማዕከናት ዜና  ከምቲ ዝነበሮኣቃሊሐንኦ እየን  

ኣብ ዝተፈላለየ ኩርናዕ ዓለም ዝርከቡ ደለይቲ ፍትሒ እውን ነቲ ምልዕዓል ደጊፎም ድምጾምኣስሚዖም። ደላይ ፍትሒ ኬንካ ፍትሒ ንዝጠልብ ድምጽን ጠለብን ውጹዓት ክትድግፍ ከኣ ንቡር እዩ።

እቲ ዘይንቡርን ካብ ትጽቢት ወጻእን ግን፡ ብፍላጥ ኮነ ብዘይፍላጥ፡ ነቲ ምልዕዓል ዘይትርጉሙን መልክዑን ምሃብ እዩ። ብዛዕባ እቲ ፍጻሜ ዓሚቕ ግንዛበ ከይሓዝካ፡ብጸቢብ ባዕላዊ ስምዒት ተገዚእካ፡ ነቲ ድምጺ ህዝቢ ከተነኣእስ ወይ ዘይሕብሩ ክተቀብኦ ግን ነውሪ እዩ።

ንኩሎም ጥርናፈን ውዳበን ደለይቲ ፍትሒ ሓደ ዝገብሮም ነንወጽዐኦም ዝምልሽ ፍትሒ ክረጋገጽ ምጽዋዕን ምስራሕን እዩ። ስለዝኾነ ሓደ ደላይ ፍትሒ፡ ውልቀ ሰብ ኮነ ጉጅለ ወይ እውን ማሕበር ኮነ ውድብ፡ ንሕቶ ወጽዓ ካልእ ወገን ክድግፎ እምበር ክዕንቅፎ የብሉን።

ኣብ ባይታ ንዘሎ ክውንነት ብየገናዘበ ግጉይ ርድኢትን ባዕላዊ ስምዒትን ነንሕድሕደካ ምጥቐቓዕን፡ባዕልኻ ንባዕ ምድማይን ኣዕናውን ጎዳእን ስለዝኾነ ተቐባልነት  የብሉን። ስለዝኾነ ጻውዒትህጹጽ ፍታሕን ግንዛበን ደለይቲ ፍትሒ እነሆ ስዒቡ ይቕጽል።

I ሰውራ ኣኽሪያ ውህሉል ግፍዕን ወጽዓን ኣመንቲ ጅሆባ ዘንቀሎ ሰውራ እዩ!!

ንኣብነት፡ ነቲ ካብ ኣኽርያ ተላዒሉ፡ ነቲ እከይ ስርዓት ኣብ ደምበኡ ዝገጠመ ሓቀኛ ህዝባዊ ትብዓት ህዝቢ፡ “ወለዲ ንእንቲፋዳ ፊልስጤማውያን ኣብ ኤርትራ ክደግሙ ንደቂ ሓሙሽተን ሸውዓተን ዓመት ዝኾኑ ደቆም ንሰላማዊ ሰልፊ ልኢኾሞም” ዝብል ወረ ተዘርጊሑ። ጸላኢ ሕብሩ ኣመላኺዑ ምስሊ ተቓዋሚኡ ክድውን ልሙድ ስለዝኾነ፡ እዚ ጠቐነ እዚ ጸላኢ እንተበሎ ኣየገርምን እዩ። እቲ ዘገርም ግን ነቲ ጸላኢ ዝዘርገሖ ጸለመ ብፍላጥ ድዩ ብዘይፍላጥ ምድግጋም እዩ። እዚ ካብ ሓቂ ዝርሓቐ ብተንኮል ዝተሸፈነ ኣጉል-ተደናቒነት ምቕራብ፡ ነቲ ሓቂ ምዝንባዕ ጥራሕ ዘይኮነስ ነቲ ስርዓት ዘይተጸበዮ ሓገዝ ምሃብ እዩ።

 

እቲ ሽዑ ዝተቐርጸ ቪድዮ ከምዝምስክሮ እቲ ህዝባ ምልዓል ዓበይትን ናእሽቱን ዝሓቖፈ እዩ ነይሩ።ብዙሓት ካብቶም ሕጂ ኣብ ቤት ማእሰርቲ ተቐይዶም ኣለው። እቲ ከምዚ ዝኣመሰለ ፈጠራን መጠንዝሓለፎ ፕሮፖጋንዳን ኣዚሮም ካብ ዘይሓስቡ እምበር ካብ ደለይቲፍት ክወጽእ ኣይግብኦን።

እዚ ተግባርዚ፡ ምስ ኣብ ከተማታት ኣሜሪካ እንርእዮ ዘሎና ፍትሒ ዘይብሉ ኣሰራርሓ ክመሳሰል ይኽእል እዩ።ሓደ ሓደ ኣመሪካውያን ፖሊስ፡ ክሃድሙ እንከለዉ ብሕቖኦም ተኲሶም ንዝወግእዎም ጸለምቲኣመሪካውያን፡  ከይቀትሉና ፈሪህና ኢና ተኲስናሎም ብምባል  ዘቕርብዎ ሓንካስ ምኽንያት ዝመሳሰል እዩ።  

II – ሰውራ ኣኽሪያ፡ ድሙር እኩብ ዳግመ ሰውራ ናይቶም ኣብ ማይ ሓባር ዘተገፍዑን ዝተቐትሉን ኣካለ ስንኩላን ተጋደልቲ እዩ!!

ምልካዊ ስርዓት ኤርትራ፡ ነቲ ኣብ ኣኽርያ ዝነጎደ ህዝባዊ ምልዕዓል፡ ብሃይማኖት ጎላቢቡ ህዝቢ ክኸፋፍል ፈቲኑ እዩ።  ተኹሲ፡ ሽብር፡ ነፍሰይ ኣውጽእኒ ቆልዑ ዝሃድምሉ ኣብ ዝነበረሉ ስዓትን ኣብ ወጻኢ ኣብ ዓለምሙሉእ ተዘርጊሕና እንርከብ ኤርትራውያን ተቓውሞና እነስመዓሉ ኣብ ዝነበርና ጊዜን፡ እቲ ተወካሊ ፡ነዚ ነገርሽዑ ሽዑ

እቲ ሽዑ ኣብ ርያድ ዝርከብ ዝነበረ ተወካሊኡ፡ “ ሰኑ፡ ዋላ ሓንቲ ጸገም የሎን፡ ቆልዑ ሓንቲ ቤት ትምህርቲ ኣኽርያ ዝገበሩዎ ረበሻ እዩ ነይሩ፡ ኣብ ሓጺር ግዜ ከኣ ተቖጻጺርናዮ ኢና” ክብል ተዛረበ።

ስርዓት ህግደፍ ጀጋኑ ኣያታትናን አሕዋትናን ብደም ዝመንዝዕዎ ጠያይቲ፡ መሰል ናብ ዝሓተቱ ሓርበኛታት ብተመልከተለይ፡ ንሕቶ መንእሰያትና ከኣ ንሰማይ ብምትኳስ ዘራሩጉዎ። በዚ ከኣ ጠያይቱ ልዕላውነት ኣብ ክንዲ ምኽባር ህዝቢ ኣብ ምዕፋንን ምቁጽጻርን’ ዝጥቀመሉ።

እቲ ዓበይትን ናእሽቱን መንእሰያትን ሽማግለታትን ቖልዑን ዝተኻፈልዎ ህዝባዊ ሰላማዊ ሰልፊ ካብ ኣኽርያተላዒሉ ብቤት ጽሕፈት ሙፍቲ ኣቢሉ ንማእከ ከተማ ናብ ምኒስትሪ ትምህርቲ  ከይዱ ተቓውሞኡ ከስምዕ እዩ ፈቲኑ። ነዚ ብሰላም ዝተሰለፈ ድምጹ ከስምዕ ዝወጽአ ህዝቢ ብጥይት ምስንባድ ሰላማዊ ሕቶ ክሓትትንዝነቐለ ነነጢርካ ክሳዱ  ከም ምሕናቕ እዩ ዝረአ

ከምዚ ዝገብር ስርዓት ከምቲ ወለድና ፈራሕ ዓሰርተ በትሩ ዝብልዎ፡ ስለ ዝጀጀወ፡ ራዕዲ ስለ ዝሓዞ፡ ወይመዓልተይ ኣኺላ ኢሉ ስለ ዘንቀጥቀጥ ጥራይ እዩ ከምኡ ዝገብር።  እዚ ተባዕ ህዝቢ ነቲ ዓመጽ’ኳእንተዘይዓጸፎ፡ ንፍርሂ ዓጺፍዎን ስዒርዎን እዩ። ፍርሒ ዝበተኸ ንዓወት ስድሪ እያ ትተርፎ።

ነዚ ኣብ ዝሓለፉ 26 ዓመታት ተራእዩ ዘይፈልጥ ህዝባዊ ምልዕዓል፡ ቆንስል ኣመሪካን ዓባይ ብሪጣንያንተገይሩ ዘይፈልጥ ፍጻመ ስለዝተዓዘቡ፡ ንዜጋታቶም ኣጠንቂቖም እዮም። ድሕሪ ህዝባዊ ምልዕዓል ኣኽርያ፡ኣብ ብዙሓት ዓበይቲ ከተማታት ዓለም ዴታት፡ መንእሰያት ኣሓት ኣሕዋት፡ ተቓለስቲ ሓርበኛታት ዝተሳተፉዎ፡ ሰፊሕ ናይ ደገፍ ሰልፊ ተራእዩ።

ብሕልፊ ኣብ ማእከላይ ምብራቕ (ቀጠር ስዑድያ...)ዝነብሩ ኤርትራውያን ናብ ፈስቲቫል ህግደፍ  ምኻድኣብኩሮም ኣብ ገገዝኦም ብምትራፍ ድጋፎም ኣብያ ኣኽሪያ ገሊጾም እዮም እዚ ትብዓትን ስርሒትንእኽሪያ ከኣ ኣብ ታሪኽ ኤርትራ ተደጋጊሙ ዝንቶ ክነብር እዩ።  እቲ ፍጻሜ፡ ከምቲ ገሊኦም ብሃይማኖትንወገንን ከነኣእሱዎ ዝሓስቡዎ ኣይኮነን ኣብ ልቢ ህዝቢ ዘይርሳዕ ኣሰር ገዲፉ እዩ። እዚ ምንቅስቓስ እዚ ተረሲዑዝተርፍ ኣይኮነን

III – ሰውራ ኣኽሪያ ድሙር እኩብ ዳግመ ሰው ናይቶም ዝተገፍዑን ብሕጊ ኣልቦ ዝተኣስሩኤርትራውያን እዩ።

እዞም ክልተ ጥንታውያን ሃይማኖታት ሃገርና፡ ክርስትናን ምስልምናን፡ ንዘበናት ብውህደትን ፍቕርን ተኸባቢሮም እዮም ዝነብሩ። ነዚ ሃይማኖታት እዚ ከተቀራሕኖን ክትከፋፍሎን ምፍታን ከምቲእንግሊዛውያን ዝብልዎ ንሓንቲ ጸጉሪ ኣብ ልተ ከም ምምቃል እዩ ዝቁጸር።

እዚ ፈተነ` ነቲ ክሳብ ሕጂ ብሓባር ዝተጓዓዝናዮን ዝበጻሕናዮን ምፍትታን እንተዘይኮይኑ ዝኾነ ይኹን ነገርከስዕብ ኣይክእልን እዩ። ሓደ ፈላጥ ለባም መንእሰይ  ከምዝበሎ እዞም ክልተ ሃይማኖታት ምስልምና ናብቲ ቦታ  ካብ ዝኣቱ ጀሚሩ ክሳብ ሕጂ ብዘቕንእ ፍቕርን ውህደትን ብሰላም ይነብሩ ከምዘለዉ ብዝዳህሰሶ መጽናዕትታት ይምስክር።

ስርዓት ህግደፍ፡ ነዚ ብታሪኽ ዝድነቕ ውህደት’ዚ፡ ሕጂ ምልካዊ ስልጣን ንኸርግእ ክዘርጎ እኳ እንተሓለነ ህዝብና ቦታን ዕድልን ኣይሃቦን ኣይክህቦን ከኣ እዩ።

እቲ ድሕሪ ሰውራ ኣኽርያ፡ ኣብ ኩሉ ከተማታት ዝተራእየ ህዝባዊ ደገፍን  ምልዓዓልን፡ ሓባራዊ መንፈስምርድዳእ ዝለበሰ ጸረዓመጽ ድምጺ ህዝቢ እዩ። ኣብ ልዕሊ ዝኾነ ይኹን ህዝቢ ዘጋጥም ወጽዓን ዓመጽህዝባዊ ቁጥዓ ብሓባር ከምዝወቅዖ ክፈልጥ ይግባእ።4

IV– ሰውራ ኣኽሪያ ድሙር እኩብ ዳግመ ሰውራ ይቶም  ጭሕሞም ኣንዊሖም ተባሂሎምዘትዳጎኑ 200 መንእሰያት እዩ

ኣኽርያ ንዝተፈላለየ ኣካል ህዝብና ዝሓቆፈት ስፍ ክነሳ፡  ጀግንነት ደቃ ከናእሱ ዝተዳለዉ ጉጅ ነቲምልዓዓል ከም ሓደ ንእሽተይ ረብሻ ኣምሲሎም ከነኣእሱዎ ይፍትኑ። እቲ ኣብ ዝተፈላለየ እዋን ኣብ ካልእ ቦታ ዝተገብረ ኣብያን ተቓውሞን ከምዚ ኣብ ሰውራ ኣኽርያ ዝተራእ ብቪድዮ ስለዘይተቐርጸ እምበር ድምጺ ደለይቲ ፍትሒ ቀሊል ከምዘይነበረ ምተራጋገጸ። ከምቲ ኣቐዲምና ዝበልናዮ፡ ጸላኢ ከነኣእስን ክደቁስን ምድላዩ ርዱእ እዩ። እዞም ደለይቲፍትሒ ኢና ዝብሉ አሕዋት፡ ፍትሒ ደልዩ ንዝተኣኻኸበ ደላይ ፍትሒ ህዝቢከነኣእሱ ዝፍትንሉ ምኽንያት ርዱእ ኣይኮነን። ስለዚ ደጊምና ነብስናን ኣሰራርሓናን ክንፍትሽን ክንምርምርን ከድልየና እዩ።

V – ሰውራ ኣኽሪያ ድሙር እኩብ ዳግመ ሰውራ ይቶም ኣብ 2001 ብሕጊ ኣልቦ ዝተኣስሩሚኒስትራትን ኣርካናት (ገዳይም ዓበይቲ ስሙያት) ተጋደልትን እዩ

ምንቅስቓስ ኣኽርያ፡ ሕሉፍ ሓሊፉ ዶብ ሰጊሩ ዘይ ሕማሞም ረስኒ ዘትሓዞም እውን ኣለዉ ሓደ ዘናቑቶባእሲ ስኢኑ ዝጸንሐ ሱዳናዊ ኢማም ንኣመንቲ እስልምና ኤርትራውያን በቲ ንሱ ዝደልዮን ድግፎን ናይኣልቃዒዳን ኣይሲስን መምርሒ ተራጒሙ ከራሳስኖም ፈቲኑ  ህዝብና ግን ነዚ ክፉእ ተግባር እዚ ብቑዕመልሲ ንመሃብ፡ ስእሊ ተወከልቲ ልተ ሃይማኖት፡ ማለት ናይቶም ንነዊሕ ጊዜ ተኣሲሮም ዘለዉ ኣቡንኣርቶዶክሲያዊት ቤተክርስትያንን ናይ ሓጂ ሙሳን ማዕረ ማዕረ ሒዙ ኣብ ኩሉ ሰላማዊ ልፍታት ወጽአ።ካብዚ ዝዓቢ ጸረ ውሽጣዊን ደጋውን ክፍኣት የለን።

VI – ሰውራ ኣኽሪያ ድሙር እኩብ ዳግመ ሰውራ ንኤርትራውያንን ንኤርትራን እዩ

ናይ ማዕዶ ተማራመርቲ፡ ኣብ ኣኽርያ ንዝተላዕለ ህዝባዊ ናዕቢ፡ ኣብ ሃገራውነትን ተወፋይነትን ጥርጣረዓይኒ ርእዮሞ።  

ተቐማጦ ኣኽርያ በቲ ጽኑዕ ዝኾኑ ጥንታዊ እምነቶም ዝተሃንጹ እዮም። ንምሳለ እስልምና ውሽጥኻ ኣብምምርማር ዝተሰረተ ሃይማኖት እዩ። ከምዚ ኮይ ግን ተኸተልቱ ኤርትራውያን ሃገራዊነቶምንተወፋይነቶምን ኣብ ጥርጣረ ዝኣትወሉ ምክንያንት ርዱእ ኣይኮነን፣ ብዘይካ ነቶም ጠርጠርቱ  እኳ ድኣክብሪ ኤርትራ ንምዕቃብ ኣብ ዝተገብረ ቃልሲ ኣስላም ኤርትራውያን፡ ምስ ኣመንቲ ክርስትና ፍንጫሕ መሰንገለ አሕዋቶም፡ ካብ ፈለማ ጀሚሮም ማዕረ ብጾቶም ዝተቓለሱ እዮም። ካብ ራቢጣ ጀሚርካ፣ምምስራት ጀብሃ (ELF ኮነ EPLFከምኡ እውን ኣብ ቀረባ  2013 ኣብ ፎርቶ ዝተኻየደ ህዝባዊ ናዕቢእስላምን ክርስትያንን ዜጋታት ብሓባር እዮም ተሰዊኦም።  

እንሆ ሕጆ ደቂ ኣኽርያ ውፉያት ሓቢሮም ኣይንምብርከኽን ብምባል ንዝሓለፋ ኣርብዓ ዓመታት ብቑዓትንኣብ ዓቢ ደረጃ ዝበጽሑ ተመሃሮ ከተመርቕ ትርከብ ቤት ትምህርቶም ኣመሃህራኣ ኣይንልውጥን ብምባልጸረዓመጽ ተላዒሎም። ሰውራ ኣኽርያ ሰውራ ደለይቲ ፍትሒ እምበር ሰውራ ሓደ ወገን ወይ ሓደ ጉጅለ ኣይኮነን።  እዚ ጸላኢ ህዝቢ፡ ስርዓት ህግደፍ፡ ኣስላም’ዶ ጥሩፋት እናበለ ህዝቢ ክኸፋፍል እንተፈተነ ኣይተዓወተን – ፈሺሉ እዩ።

VII – ሰውራ ኣኽርያ ወዲ ዓሊ ኣብ ፎርቶ ዝተሰወኣሉ ኣማኢት ጀጋኑ ዝተኣስሩሉን ድሙር እኩብዳግመ ሰውራ ስርሒት ፎርቶ 2013  እዩ።

ሓደ ካብቲ ሓላፍነት ዜጋታት ዓቕምኻ ብዝኽእሎ ፍትሒ ምድላይን ንፍትሒ ኣብ ዝቃለሱ ውዱባት ምስታፍ ማለትን እዩ። ግን ኣብ ማዕዶ ኰንካ ኣብቲ ምንቅስቓስ ከይተኻፈልካ ንደለይቲ ፍትሒ ምንቃፍ፡ ወረ ማዕዶምዃን ጥራይ እዩ። ወራዙት ማዕዶ ነቶም ለይትን ቀትርን ለውጢ ከምጽኡ ዝቃለሱ ካብ ምንቃ ክቑጠቡይግብኦም። ለውጢ እንተድኣ ደሊና፡ ካል ኣማራጺ የለን። ነዞም ኣሽሓት ደለይቲፍትሒ ኤርትራውያንማሕበራት መራሚርና፡ ምስ ኣተሓሳስባና ኣረኣእያናን ዝኸይድ መሪጽና ኣባል ብምዃን እጃምካ ምግባርእዩ። ሎሚ እንተዘይጌርካ መኣስ ትገብሮ? ሎሚ እንተዘይሰሪሕካ መዓስ ትሰርሕ?

ሰውራ ኣኽሪያ እምበኣር ድሙር እኩብ ዳግመ ሰውራና ዳግመ ቃልሲ ኤሬትራና እዩ!! ህይወት ኣብ ትሕቲ ምልኪ፡ ከም ዓንዴል እንተመረረ ከም ዕረ እንተዓርዓረ ኣየገርምን እዩ። ህይወት ኣብ ትሕቲ ምልኪ ምዒሩን መቂሩን ኣይፈልጥን እዩ።  ጽባሕ ንግሆ ግን ብጻዕርን ተወፋይነትን ደለይቲ ፍትሒ ዜጋታት ኤርትራና ናብቲ እንሓልሞ ምዕራፍ ትንሳአ ክትሰጋገር እያ።

    Yes,it is a revolution rekindled,it an October to remember,it is a pressure valve of an overwhelmed society,it scared the crap of the arrogant bullies and got them lock and loading against unarmed peaceful innocent women and children and elderly,makes you wonder what the reaction would have been if it was an armed mob? This time HGDEF got the upper hand-the gun but lost something intangible big time-the mojo. You been warned by the most patient people in the world,the next time they will come cascading on you from every angle imaginable,God knows what they will have in their hands.Patience is a good virtue but sometimes God even runs out of it and unleashes His wrath.

      Yes it is a fanaticism revolution. Every one knows that extremist is embedded in most religions. All religious fanatics (even other than Islam) take their inspiration from strict and correct interpretation of their texts and teachings. It is the nature of religion – it requires submission towards inaccurate and unproven theories without using rational thought.
      Sure the problem is the religions themselvesm. In an experience all fanatics are more violent and less tolerant than others. Thus some of their followers are too stupid and clueless. They are easily fooled by to destroy their identities, by using religion. Because as we know fanaticism often appears as an invariable that transcends historical events, or even, in racist vein, a characteristic of fantastical entities such as “the Arab mind”. Take care to note that this has happened in other parts of the world in the past, when the perpetrators would have been different but the reasons basically the same

        I don’t mind you following me,however do so with grace and clarity.I have no clue what you are trying to say but I am sure that you are not on the side of the people who are trying to get a reprieve from the most oppressive military apparatus in the face of the earth.

          Do not worry, I did. I got the picture pretty well.
          Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to meet some of the people I argue with here and have a coffee with them and talk about. I am in Texas/Dallas on vacation and last night did dinner with my dearly justice seekers sympathizer cousin. We had a grand/awesome old time putting down, but yesterday we agreed that the only affinity who has his head screwed on tight is/was Assena. I wish one day with you too.
          K.tewelde, I haven’t have/had any real set-tos with you but I know we most of the time disagreed more than we agree. I know sometimes our little arguments hear get heated; because this is a somewhat long standing debate in politics. However, I was wondering what people on here thought about it, particularly in light of the recent Muslim fanatics surge. What does this mean for you for the future of our country and how does this futile relate to a democratic revolution? My personal view at the most general level here is that this is neither more or nor less a necessary feature sign of democracy or democratic revolution/change. I believe that you make decisions more on kneejerk, emotional responses rather than more nuanced thinking about democratic reform/change issues.

    The regime may have thought of using or seeing “the mass exodus [as] safety valve that Shaebia needs badly to let go of the excess pressure from within, right before it implodes.” What needs to be recognized is that an implosion implies an abrupt collapse of PFDJ regime, but small implosions that we saw in Akhriya, prior to that in 2013 through Forto fiasco, and prior to that the 2001, the cabinet ministers … many other smaller implosions ኡኩብ ድምር ውሕጅ ክፈጥር ግድን እዩ”. The obvious one that no-one would be able to predict is, not a matter of if but of when the regime will collapse, collapsing whether under its own weight or from uprising of the sorts of episodes stipulated here, it will … that’s the question none of us can answer. But, these episodes whether they come in spurts and gradually, they will ostensibly turn into a floodgates of tsunarmi proportions will engulf the menace its cohorts.

    ክብረት ይሃበለይ Simon G. I appreciate the welcoming gesture. One has to give credit where credit is due. Assenna has done a marvelous job covering the aftermath of Akhriya uprising demos that took place the world over, which was and is Eritrea’s uprising; as such the torch should be kept lit until the menace and his cohorts leave from the face of Eritrea.

    Simon G., well done on the imaginary conversation with the menace at home. Apparently, he seems to suffer from different malices and allergies. Take a for instance ብ ‘ጀ ‘ዝጅምራ words: ጀበርቲ፥ ጀብሃ፤ ጀሆባ፤ ጁምዓት፤ጀላቲ, etc. The latter was one of his mantras when he went to visit SAWA where he would berate the kids by saying that ጀላቲ ለሚድክን as if enjoying the little things of life were crime against humanity. Thanks for lightening the mood before the end of the night on this side of the Atlantic. Have a good night.

    For the last more than fifteen years Eritreans endured enough sufferings under suppressive sysyem of their government which you mentioned in detail in case we forgot . Regardless the silence that conveyed cowardice to bring entire nation surrender for dictatorial leadership , indeed Akriya residents showed courage to break the wall of fear to confront HGDF government inside Asmera streets .
    The question is ; when will others wake-up to recognize their faults mainly our
    government officials including rank and file military members ?
    We can not undue the past but at least save the rest young generation inside
    the country because so far the damage done can not be taken easily .

    merHaba Ahmed,

    The cumulative effect of the sufferings that you mentioned cannot be undone overnight as you know Rome, they say, was NOT built in a day for a reason. Similarly, the systemic apparatus that has been built over the years will not come undone overnight. The seemingly small spurts of defiances have been building, in some cases, subtly and in other cases visibly as was the case with Veteran Disabled Tegadelti in mi Habar. The 2001 Cabinet Ministers’ defiance, the 2013; the Forto confrontation, now the Akhriya uprising.

    Of course, there are many small subversive actions that we may not necessarily see from afar that can be considered acts of defiance that we don’t hear about. Betweded’s case illustrates this point. His story of defiance came to light years later when the audio file was discovered. When the unhinged menace is gone from the face of Eritrea and it will, believe you me Ahmed, it will, we will hear stories of courage from all over Eritrea … how Eritreans individually and/or in groups showed their defiance and stared evil in the face – sure they would’ve paid the ultimate price for it, but we will find out they were not taking it on the chin without revolting…that I guarantee you will come to light.

    Dear Ahmed, let me tell you what one former cadre of the struggling years told me when they were ready as freshly minted cadres to go out there and recruit; before they went out to do their job. Totil has told them this: The fighting angle of the struggle is easy. You are trained and given weapon, you fight in a skirmish, in a battle, in a war, not much compared to the job of cadres. Raising awareness, raising political consciousness is much more difficult; so you will get frustrated, he told them, you will get discouraged, but be mindful that that is what it will take to teach and advocate for the idea of Eritrea. So, how long it took for Eritrea to become independent, we all know that.

    The moral of the story is too obvious to elaborate, suffice it, however, to say this: Those of us who are in the diaspora have moral and financial obligation to do our part. When we commit for the long-haul, those who are in the front-line like awate.com, archive.assenna.com, asmarin.com, and many others will need our support. Media campaign is one of the most effective tool that has given us a leg up to fight the regime’s limitless coffers by simply login online like you and i are doing exchanging our ideas and fighting the regime tooth and nail.

    The aftermath of Akhriya uprising that we saw Eritreans the world over galvanized over by defiantly proclaiming no to tyranny, no to religious division in massive number, the likes of which never seen before, where children, mothers, fathers, families came out in droves was a sign that we’ve won the battle of words. The propaganda machinery of the regime was engulfed by the power of the masses. That’s what you and I and many thousands more will have to keep doing. We cannot relent, because the menace at home is relentless, barbaric, and ruthless. Lucky for us who are not facing the wrath of the regime.

    The only thing we are suffering from is frustration, lack of coordination, and the endless squabbles we spend our time in. But, getting there we will. The demonstrations of November propel me to believe we are getting there. And the city on the hill is now in the horizon within our sight. But we must not give up and give in to the regime that’s been out of shape to destroy Eritrea and its social and traditional and culturally mosaic fabric…we are emphatically saying No to.

    Lastly, our obligation becomes not only the realization of this critical mass to continue unabated, but also to organize, mobilize, galvanize collectively, that’s when the Western countries will begin to pay attention. Otherwise, they won’t give a whit if Africans die in the Sea or are sold in a slave trade as we’ve seen of late as if organ harvesting was not enough. If each one of us does his/her part and find an organization, be it political or civic, to be a part of and help the struggle move forward, we will be able to accomplish a great deal more.
