It goes to show the immaturity of our people wasting our time discussing re: the background of the current thugs leading Eritrea. If we continue with this type of fruitless discussion, we are falling into the trap that Issias set for us. In fact, I think if we continue with this circle of HATEFTEF ,one would question if we even deserve to be relieved from this atrocious dictatorship

      sidiabd
      Well put. I agree.

    • Genet June 20, 2013

      you said,
“One would question if we even deserve to be relieved from this atrocious dictatorship” Says who? You like it or not this is a statement by a man or woman with identity crisis. What you are saying is that we deserve what we are getting. We should not ask the origin of our so called leaders. WHY IS IT A CRIME TO ASK OUR LEADERS ABOUT THEIR BACKGROUND? What about the hundreds of Eritrean who were killed in their home at the hand of Eritreans with Ethiopian origin? The Eritrean with Ethiopian origin, where do they stand about the dictator’s action against the Eritrean people? Do they question that if we deserve to be relieved, from this atrocious dictatorship?

Mr/Ms, The question of originality is not “HATEFTEF” for you may be it is. You seems to know why we are under this atrocious dictatorship. Do you want us to say, “we are all people Ethiopians/Eritrean or half and half; let us just get along. We shouldn’t ask who is killing Eritrean” Look, this is not acceptable to Eritreans. We just want to know who is killing our people. It is a valid question not “HATEFTEF” as you put it. Eritrean did not do any crime against any body, to deserve this atrocious act by the dictator. Again who are this people killing our people?? If you know and care about our people, you can help us. Otherwise, Don’t tell us to shout up, may be because it is painful for you. It is pity.

Genet when you say ‘Our people’ it is not Clear. do you mean the killers or the killed ones? And are you telling us that the killings is something to do With being eri or ethio or the ‘unwanted’ chilren of the mixed race. Poor my friends in 1998 war they used to Call one another agame and shabia now they are married. They have two beautifull ‘agame’ and ‘shabi’ mixed daughters. How Dangerous are these daughters to ‘us’ according Your analysis.

Geni in short you suffe from a malicious Identity crysis. Or you suffer by the pain and embarassment of Your ‘illillliiiillillli….’ of Your ghedli preidants and the like. The nightmare you put Your People in is forcing you to balme others and define Groups to ease the pain. Keep on doing what ever you think it is working for you. But you are far away from the solution. Who knows may be you are on the way for Your vaccation to recruite more senai victims by rubbing Your freedom and what you accumlated for the last 12 monthes to the prisoners of Asmara youths. Look Young eritreans see wha i brought from the free west socity, i can come to Eritrea and og when ever i want. Look what i possessed.

You just proved my point. You lack compassion toward Eritreans. Just like the PFDJ’s leaders. You are one of those people with half and half origin, who is having the time of his/her life. True, you are able to go to Eritrea or Ethiopia when ever you wants. It is your time. Will see how long that is going to last. On my posing, I didn’t say the word “agame”. But you did. Why?

Eritrean and Tigrain fighters collaborated to get where we are now. Eritrean people left with the short end of the stick. For people like you, that is just fine. From your posting, because Eritrean use the word “agame” we deserve the atrocious dictaorship. It is not about you being half and half, it is about the lack of compassion toward the Ertitrean people.

  • ahmed saleh June 21, 2013

What about the higher ups officials military , security personals and military officials who protect
his regime . Are they Tigreans too ?
Couple individuals who hail from Tigray control the country , good for them because we pay the price
    from our stupidity .

    Genet,

If you like tp keep wasting your time to find out the ethnicity or origin of the murderous clique in Eritrea, go ahead make my day.I am not sure if it will get you any where. I refuse to waste an oz of energy to trace the roots of Isias Inc. It is pointless and infact counterproductive. My dear, I and people like me will focus to the get rid of the regime by exposining them for what they are to the world first. Sorry, you and I are indifferent world.

I am just pointing out the obvious. We loved Isaias Afewerki as he was our own brother. Even when he reInfored a rule, NO BODY DARE TO SAY THE WORD ‘AGAME”. That was the rule he came up with as his priority, right after our independent. That was a red flag. Still, we gave him the benefit of doubt. However, he stabbed us in the back as his ancestor did. Knowing their origin and motivations for their actions are equally important factors, in the goal of exposing them to the world.

You think, you and I are in different world; because I am asking about the relationship between origin and motivation of Isaias Afewerki’s actions. We like it or not, the origin and motivation factors will be there to prolong the Eritrean peopels’ suffering.

Will you please research the meaning of a racist?

        • Genet June 23, 2013

          Twoway
No, I rather research and know more about the half and half Eritreans and their commitment to Eritrea and their comfort level as Eritrean. Twoway, I am asking you to convince me with fats. Tell me, if most half and half Eritrean are proud Eritrean. Are they? The argument, most PFDJ’s high level leaders are half and half, because all Eritrean people are half and half is not true.

        Genet,
I think you are in synch with sidiabdu – to get rid of the cruel dictator. He is just advising you to pay attention on the bigger picture. Besides, Aboy Woldeab Woldemariam was originally from Tigray – but fought for Eritrea.
On the other side, asking someone’s identity should be a simple question – as long as we are not wasting time on that and neglect the main issues.
If Agame was civilized, rich region (long time ago), people would have been delighted to be called by that.
What I am afraid is that (the way this criminal dictator is acting/behaving), we will be called Eritrean – as in a negative way.

        • Genet June 23, 2013

          Mighty,
You said, it is about the bigger picture. I see, Tigray and Ethiopia are the same country. We have to speak as Tigray=Ethiopia. It is a new era. There is no Tigray without Ethiopia. If we can expose the origin of the PFDJ’s leaders who are destroying Eritrea, They will lose their supporters. PFDJ’s leaders will go no where if they still have their blind supporters. How do fight the PFDJ’s leaders? The fasts way is isolation, isolation and isolation.

            You have a valid point!

  • sidiabdu@gmail.com June 21, 2013

The sad part is half of Eritreans new the motive and the capability of Issias Inc before and after independence, and refused to side with him or his regime from day 1.Not because of his origin, but they knew him well for what he is. He has alawys being manupulative and he manged to come on top using the motto of “the end justifies the means” game. Unfortunatly some people gave him the benefit of doubt, and look what it got us. We are back in square one and now, after all this years we are asking for Issias’s Id. What a laughing stock we are.
