The trouble for Ato Andargachew started when he argued with Eritrean officials about the amount of assistance Ginbot 7 has been receiving and the obstacles they were placing against his effort to form an armed force. Despite repeated promises, year after year, he was unable to make progress with the Eritrean regime.
Ginbot 7’s problem with the Eritrean regime was not limited to broken promises. The Eritreans have been actively sabotaging Andargachew’s effort to build Ginbot 7’s capacity beyond producing statements and running ESAT. It became clear that the Eritreans do not want Ginbot 7 (or any Ethiopian opposition group other than TPDM) to turn into a powerful politico-military organization. They want Ginbot 7 to serve as a mere propaganda outlet, as well as a source of hard currency from Egypt and Qatar.

Many People have had doubt concerning the clueless presidant of Eritrea was misunderstood by the whole world. But his interview in 2009 made it lcear that if that man is not mad then he has a 6 years old mentality in a 72 years old body at that time.

1) isaias said his government has a better system than swidish or any country in the world and eritrean wealth Distributed to the majority while the swidish wealth accumilated in only 2% of the socity. (the journalist is crule and did not ask why eritreans leave for sweeden). His plan is to create a 2% Rich People and the rest a strong middel class.
2) Eritreans Health care system is number one in africa and in five years it would be number one in the world
3) There will be no private media in Eritrea because he found out some were under Cia payroll. Plus he knew that all over the world there is no free press so why bother. He was asked there were private media before 2001, again the presidant said he discovered they were working for cia. Period. One of them, all of them no idea.
4) He said there will be no presidential election but there are local election in Eritrea and they will continue to exist. And that is what he Calls empowering the People.(Here is one can understand isaias very well. He thinks Eritrea as his private property-Nation. He said there is no democratic election either in us or Europa. He laughed for real on the Democracy of India. 5) He was asked what Eritrea will be in 2015 and the presidant said the infrastructure will be finished and all the country will be electrified (100% Electric Access for the Whole land).
