On 10 December 1948, the UN adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Today, about a quarter of the
world’s population continue to live under persecution. With political extremism, gang and knife crime and violence
against women on the rise, hideous and systemic human rights abuses continue to be perpetrated at an alarming rate in
our community. Too many people, particularly those in power, are hostile to human rights or indifferent to their claims.
Meanwhile, our global interdependence deepens as we become a global village.

Subject: “Announcement: HUMAN RIGHTS: Challenges in the 21st CenturyI read the words dealing with HUMAN RIGHTS”, December 10, 2018

    .
I saw intently the different colored hands inscribed upon them the following words: EQUALITY, FREEDOM PEACE, HOPE, DIGNITY, RULE of LAW, PROSPERITY, JUSTICE and four hands without assignment.

    . .
Now, let us take Eritrea. Eritrea has gone to 30-year war for LIBERTY, and all the above eight quality of Life, but found itself under the most ruthless indigenous DICTATOR who is one of the respectable members of the respectable and affluent United Nations Organization, with multiple branches in all fields of endeavor — thus being sources of rich employment to lucky civil servants around the Globe.

    .
Let us continue asking: What did the people of Eritrea gain from 30-year war plus 27 years under one of the cruelest member of the respectable UN Organization and its respectable Branches.? The answer? Eritrean people are proportionately the second population group in the world to be refugees, scattered around the Globe, begging for crumbs of food and for the modest of the lowest modest dwellings. Sorry for the harsh words, but the hypocrisy of respectable international organizations leaves no room for decent wordings. Be that as it may, the ERITREAN PEOPLE WILL, SOMEHOW, ONE DAY, GET JUSTICE IN THEIR OWN WAY. A NATION that has fought for 30 +27 years to get its LIBERTY cannot simply vanish in thin air. Will it??? Let Eritrean Intellectuals of the Highest Order of Doctor of Philosophy Degrees bestowed upon them from shining Universities around the Globe answer that question. with full consciousness and straight face. THE END

    .
THANK YOU. http://www.archive.assenna.com for the provision of space for us [Readers} to relieve our deeply hurt feelings. The WORLD, indeed, is CRUEL.

This article mentions about global village ,yet whenever I comment historical fact such as ” ትግራዋይ ኣብ ከበሳ ኤርትራን ዝርከብ ህዝቢ ቀቢላዊ መንነት እዩ , ድምበዛን ካብ ደምቢያ ዝመጸ ህዝቢ እዩ ” It gets deleted ” if we do not believe in the AGAME VILLAGE, that belongs yo us how are we ti accept GLOBAL VILLAGE” !!!! But then the basis of gedli is to deny our true identity & assume identity invented by Italians & Arabs !!!
