It is with great pride and honor that Women For Change in Eritrea will commemorate International Women’s Day on March 5, 2016 and celebrate the grand opening of the Eritrean American Community of Dallas. Our brothers and sisters who reside in Dallas, Texas have accomplished the greatest feat of creating a new community, the Eritrean American Community of Dallas, open to all, regardless of there political and religious affiliations. The Eritrean American Community of Dallas and Women for Change in Eritrea will honor International Women’s Day 2016, by discussing the importance of community within the Eritrean society in the diaspora and the significane of EMPOWERING ERITREAN WOMEN! There will be entertainment by the talented Niyat Kidane, Mussie Kahasay, Mikeal Abera and Dawit Temesgen. See everyone on March 5, 2016 in Dallas,Texas!

    Very good move. Eritreans like gayla, so capitalize on that and use it to inform Eritreans of their violated rights. That they can not get any document from any institution back home, that they can not visit their country, they can not express themselves freely, they can be thrown into prism for no reason and rot there without charges and due process let alone to have the right to choose their leaders that we enjoy here.
