In my opinion Assenna has to create a practical, realistic, viable and sustainable fundraising model to stream lining its financial resources; such as:
(a)limiting broadcasting days 1 or 2 days a week and inculcate cost saving mechanisms:
(b)Joining with other related broadcasting agencies at least on ad-hoc basis. A solution designed for a specific cost saving, which may be non-generalizable, and not intended to be able to be adapted to other purposes.;
(c)Planing a fund raising blitz through radio or internet on periodical basis;
(d)Carrying out fundraising galas and entertainment programs in cities where majority of Eritrean are located;
(e)Target new member and Create a fundraising list and send existing and new members letters and reminders;
(f)Explore web advertising possibilities;
(g) and in general adopt a fundraising model used by public broadcasting networks, such as PBS in US and TVO in Canada in a smaller scale.
