The stories presented here are nine of fifteen that were collected during the
primary research. They were drawn from women currently situated in Sudan, Uganda,
and Kenya. The selection set out to emphasise the three key aspects of the issue at
hand; the backdrop as to why they left Eritrea, the journey leaving Eritrea and
their experiences once outside Eritrea, in their host country as refugees. Many of
the stories reflect the situations or abuses that were common to many of accounts and testimonies given to SIHA.

      SUICIDE

You did not reply to my question, why ?. Let me repeat it:
      – Will you allow in Tigray a real democracy, i.e will there be in near future a party that will compete with Weyane in local elections ?
      – While it’s ok for you to join us in discussing matters of common concern (regional issues), why are you people interfering in our affairs and insulting us by coming to our blogs ?, do you think that is fair ?
      – Don’t you think this is a disservice to Tigreyans in Eritrea, whey you spoil their relationship with indigenous people ?

        Kaligne,

I do not have that priviledge..,Number one why would they Hamashein decide for them. I can not even convince my fellow Eritreans that we have to know the difference between Sewra & pure banditry.
well, go ask them..You are the one obssesed with them ,…as for me ,i would like to take a good example from my neighbours..yet what i do not see as a positive I reject it.
Why are you obsessed with Tegaru Kaligne..Let us do about our Eritrea. I am extremely brilliant ..but I do not think I qualify to know about what Tigrawot of Tigray want..as an Eritrean I would like to find solution to what is happenning to our girls & women instead of giving or denying Eritrean citzenship.
Should we not care about what matters ..or Ask to Haile Gebru..the singer..his parents may have told him ..or Kisha..or even Isaias.
Let us see you Kaligne come up with a courageous solution as I try while people with an IQ of a raw potato calling you names.

Thank you though for believing in my brilliant analysis.

The cause of this kind of disgraceful ending to those poor women life resulted from extended time of
sufferings and confusions to reach in to unbearable point of frustration that led in to unwarranted
and life threatening decision just to escape from their unpleasant environment . It saddens me to hear
about our women treatments either inside or outside the country because it has never happened before
into this level of shameful cruelty .
ONLY ARROGANTS AND DELLUDED PEOPLE MIGHT CONSIDER THEMSELVES THAT THEY HAVE A COUNTRY WITH LEGITIMATE
GOVERNMENT WICH REPRESENT THEM . Lets open our eyes and look at mirror to find out the lost truth of
    reality on Eritrea’s ground .

      Thank You Ahmed,

Time to call Mafia govt. a Mafia & individuals who think Agame/Tegaru are our problem as opposed to looking in the mirror.

Since you surrender the country to hypocrites those poor people
inside the country lost their right to live in peace and harmony.
Me and you are on safe places protected by rule of law. Show
a little compassion and concern to your people for heaven sake,
ofcourse only if you are not fake patriotic Eritrean .
