For weeks now, PIA’s media have been defeaning us about his upcoming interview.
Here is my question: why does our dictator advertise his interviews? Why not just go ahead and conduct it without fanfare?
The other thing is, the topics are listed, which means is the journalist who will ask him has been instructed what questions to ask. So can this be called interview really?

  • Aleku alena December 24, 2011

The interview is taking time because DIA needs to study the script to which he is trying to make fun with and impress his supporters as an actor.Be patient for
    Just movie 2012.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Below is another beautiful article to give assenna’s Card even more of a face lift:

Giant mining corporations laying their eyes on Eritrea’s fledgling mining sector.

Junior mining companies in Eritrea are being threatened for takeovers by giant state owned and multi-national mining corporations. This competition for lucrative Eritrean mining sector is bound to increase the sitting government’s leverage in restoring its right place in the international arena.

Analysts believe that the current sanction will continue to exist in its current format for many years to come without making any dent on the country’s growing mining sector. The Chinese state owned and giant Russian Mining corporations are conducting serious negotiations with Eritrean government and junior mining companies already operating in the country for possible takeovers.

Also, recently industry insiders have been hinting that Nevsun has been threatened for hostile takeover by Anglo-American Mining Corporation. Anglo-American is major player in the international mining industry and it is also believed to have major political clout in the United States and western European counties.

Industry analysts believe that 2012 will be a milestone for Eritrea in fully exploiting its mining potential both economical and politically.
