EMDHR Holds Its 4th Congress
The Eritrean Movement for Democracy and Human Rights (EMDHR) in South Africa held its 4th successful Congress on 17 February 2013 in Pretoria, South Africa. Members of the Movement travelled from around South Africa to participate in the Congress which was held in the wake of the historic movement by members of the Eritrean Defense Forces inside Eritrea who called for the implementation of the constitution, release of all prisoners, and the transfer of power to the Eritrean people- the theme of the Congress. It was with this renewed sprit that the membership represented from all chapters gathered to lend support to the forces of democratic change inside Eritrea and express their determination to seek for democratic change in Eritrea.
The Congress debated a report presented by the former Transitional Executive Committee in an open and transparent atmosphere. The report included the objective situation of our people who are suffering under a cruel system which does not recognize their basic rights and denied them justice. The report also discussed organizational matters extensively, among other issues. After an in-depth analysis of the challenges of the last few years, members expressed their resolve to renew their commitment to transform the EMDHR into an effective organization which can make a meaningful contribution in the struggle for democracy and freedom through its active non-violent principle. To this end, Congress made the necessary structural changes which are also reflected in the amended constitution of the Movement.
In the afternoon hours, Congress democratically elected seven-member of the Executive Committee (EC), three-member of Disciplinary Committee (DC), and an Audit Committee (AC). These structures are expected to strengthen the Movement by providing an effective, responsible, and accountable leadership. Moreover, congress decided to hold the next congress in two years while the General Council shall have all Congress powers to oversee all activities of the Movement between congresses. Before the Congress closed many members pledged substantial financial donations to help the EMDHR achieve its stated mission and objectives.
Finally, the Congress closed with the call upon all Eritreans and friends of the Eritrean people to make their urgently needed due contributions to bring about real democratic change in our country and end the misery of our people.

EMDHR have potential to rally Eritreans, at home and outside, around itself, but can bear the desired fruits if only it jealously avoids falling into trap by avoiding subserviency to foreigners, including woyane.
Calling on woyane to withdraw from Eritrean Sovereign Territory and demarcate the Eritrean-Ethiopian Border in accordance with the EEBC decision should be one of its distinguishing features. Presenting demands like this would lend her National stature and prominence.
However, the winning formula, other than ralling Eritreans into the cause, is International Diplomacy to gradually and steadily suffocate the Conspirators, Woyane and Isaias Afewerqi. Among the basic ingredients for successful International Diplomacy for us is to deployat the forefront Eritreans who execelled in critical thinking and highest level of English proficiency, both in speaking and writing. In the short, the best and brightest should be at the helm of leadership.

ከምቲ ኣእዛንና ንኩሉ ወረታት ቅሩባት ዝኾና አነ ድማ ከምቲ ገለ ሰባት ከም ሓሰማ ከይፈላለዩ ዝበልዕዎ ንወረ ብዝመጸ ይምጻእ ፡ዲሞክራስን ሕግን ክኽተል ዝደሊ ሰብ ኩሉ ሓቂ ወላውን ሓደገኛ ይኹን ከፍልጥ ድሉው ኢየ።
እዚ አብ ውሽጢ ውሻጠና ኪኸውን እኳ እንተተገብአ ብዙሕ ሕጋዊ ዝመስል ጸቕጢ ስለዝነበረን ግዜ ውን ስለዘይአኽለናን አበ ህዝቢ ክወርድ መሪጸ፡ካብቲ ማሕበረይ ድማ ኮርየ ኮነ ተሓጒሰ ገዲፈዮ ከምዘይ እለይ ከፍልጥ ይፈቱ።
እቲ ዘበገሰኒ አብ ክንዲ ዝበዝሕ ግዜና ኮነ አድህቦና አብ ጉዳይ ሃገር ዝኸውን ከምቲ መግሊጽና ዝሕስዎ ጉዳይና ናይ ውልቅና ዘተኮረ ከምዝነበረን፡እዚ ድማ መግትኢ ኪኸውን ዝተመርጸ ድኣ ምበር ምኽኑይ ከምዘይኮነ ከብርህ ይፈቱ ።እኳድኣ ምስ ደንጸወንስ ድሕሪ ናጽነት ንዛረብ ዘሎና ንመስል ምክንያቱ ኩሉ ብዛዕባ ምምራሕን መን ይምራሕን ኢዩ ዝነበረ እምበር አገዳሲ ውሳኔታት ከይውሰድ ሲ ብልኡም አገባብ ተከልኪልና ኢና ።ኪድ አይትበሎ ከምዝኸይድ ግበር ዝገበሩዋ ንዘይጠቅም ረብሓ ንዓናን ዕላማናን ጸርፊ ኢዩ።
ንአብነት ንሃገር ዝተበገሰ ናይ ለውጢ ሓይሊ ከም ኤምዲሰመ ፡ሃገራውያን ዝበሉዎ ድአ ይገብር እምበር ንክንሰርሕ ኢና ዝብሉ ሓንሳብ የለናን ቅድም ንሃሉ እንዳበለ ልክዕ ንኡሽተይ ስእሊ ህግደፍ ከርእየካ አይትጽበዮን በቲ ሓደ ሸነኹ ድማ ቅዋም ከይተረፈ ከተዓራሪ ዝኽእል ተጋባኢ ዝራአናሉ አጋጣሚ ዝተጋነነ ኮይኑኒ ፡፡
• ቅዋም ክቕይር ዝኽእል ተጋባኢ ውሳኔ ምስማር ምስ ካልኦት ማሕበራት ዘየወስኖ ምኽንያት እንታይ ኢዩ? ንምንታይ ከ ብድምጺ ተጋባእቲ ዘይተወሰነ ብ አቦ ወንበርን ኣዕሩኽቱን ተወሲኑ ? ስለምንታይ ከ እቶም አብ አኼባ ከይተጋባእና ከሎና እንፈልጦም ወይ ግደፉልና እዚ ማሕበር ክንጥቀመሉ ወይ ድማ ተሰኪምኩም ውሰዱዎ ዝብሉ ሰባት ፡አሳተፍቲ ዘይኮኑ ተጨውዩ? አቲ ዝገርም ዕላማኻ ሓደ ዘይኮነ ምዃኑ ዘይኮነስ ዝበልናዮ ግበሩ አይኮነን ድማ የለናን ንዝብሉ ሰባት ተዋሂቡ ብሕኸኸኒ ክሓከካ ? እዚ ንገለ ተጋባእቲ ውሻጠ ናይ ግዝያዊት ፈጻሚት ዘይትፈልጡ ሰባት ፈጺሙ አይትንክፍን ኢዩ ክሃስየኩም ውን ዘይኮነስ ሞላ ኮይኑ ስራሕኩም ዘስርሕ ኪኸውን ዝጸሓፍኩዎ ምርር ዝበለ ሓቂ ኢዩ።
ካበይ ናበይ ኢኻ ዝብል ሕቶ ክመጽእ ግድን ኢዩ፡
አነ ሓደ ናይቲ ውዲት ምፍልላይ ኪኸውን አብ ኢትዮጵያ እንከለኹ ዝተመረጽኩ አባል ግዝያዊት ኢየ ነይረ ከምዚ ክብል ከለኹ አጆኻ ንስኻ ንዓኻ ስለንአምነካ እንዳተባሃልኩ ዝተሰደድኩ ግን ካኣ ወላ ከምኡ ንበል ብሕጋዊ አይትውክሉናን ኢኹም ፡ እሞ ክንዛረብ እንተበልና ድማ ንስኻ ኮ መራሒ ኢኻ ? ወይ ጸገም አነስ ከም ኩሉ ኤርትራዊ ሽግር ዘሎኒ ሰብ ኢየ ብጥቕሚ ተገዲደ ዝገብሮ ትእዛዝ ግን ከቶ የልቦን አይክህሉን ኢዩ ውን። እንተተረዳድአ ጽቡቕ አይተረዳድአን ድማ ተባሂሉ ዝተዳለወለይ በትሪ ድማ ከማይ አብ ኢትዮጵያ ዝተሳተፈ ብጻይ ሄኖክ ሃይለን ካልአዩ ብጻይ ተስፋይን ከም አጀንዳ ሒዞም ብጀነራል ታአዚዞም ዝገበሩዎ ስርሒት ኢዩ ፡እዚ ዩ ድማ ከም ምስሊ ጸላኢ ሒዝና ገቢልና ዓድና ከይንአቱ ዘዛርበኒ ዘሎ፡ብጻይ ተስፋይ ድማ ናብ ኢትዮጵያ ምሳና ተበጊሱ ኮይኑ ግን አብ ምብጋስና እንተተማሊእኩሞ እሞ ዝኾነ ነገር እንተ አጋጢሙ ባዕልኹም ትፈልጡ ምስ ተባህለና ገዲፍናዮ ዝኸድናን ብድሕሪ ምኻድና ከምዘትረፍናዮ ዝተነግሮን ከም ሰቡ ንፍትሒ ዝቃለስ ገርሂ ብጻይ ኢዩ።ናይ ኩሉ ነገር መፍትሕ ግዜ ኢዩ ንግዜ ድማ ንገድፎ ።
አብዚ እታ ወረ እትአምን በየን መጸ ዘይትብል እዝኒ ተጸልያ ስለዝጸንሐት ወላ አብ ቅዋም ምትእርራም አብ ንዛረበሉ እዋን ጉዳኢ ኢትዮጵያ ይደጋገም ነይሩ መራሕቲ እቲ አኼባ አቦ ወንበርን ካልአዩን ብዝነበሮም ናይ አረዳድኣ ጸገም ይኹን ወላስ ኮነ ኢሎም ብጻይ ሄኖክ ሃይለ ዝበሎ ኩሉ ወላ ዓፈል ይኹን ወይ ፕላስቲክ ብዘይ ዝኾነ ተቓውሞ ይኸይድ ሓደ ካብቲ ንምድኻም ዝተገብረ ሽጣራ ሰውራ ኢዩ፡ዘይጎነጻዊ ስለ እንአምን ፍልልይ ዘሪእና ፋሕፋሕ ነብል ዝብል ፈላሊኻ ግዛእ አይቅበሎን ጥራሕ ዘይኮነ ተላኢኹ ዝብሎ ዝነበረ ይመስል ኢለ ይአምን ምኽንያቱ አብ ዝበዝሕ ናይ ሻሂ ግዜና ግዜ “አታ ወዲ ናይ ፐርሰናል ከይትገብሮ እዚ ዝዛረቦ ዘለኹ ዝብል ስክፍታ ዝመልኦ ዘረባ ይደጋግመለይ ስለዝነበረ “።
እዚ ዓይነት ጸለመ ምዝራበይ አብርህ ከብሎ ዕርክነታዊ አሰራርሓ ኢዩ ነይሩ ይብል አለኹ እምበር ዕላማናን ካልእናን ከምቀደሙ ኢዩ።
ካብ ቃላቱ ንሱ አባል ስምረት መንእሰያት ኤርትራ ሙኻኑ ዓው ኢሉ ዝገለጸን ንስምረት ድማ ክሳብ እታ ጉባኤ ትሓልፍ ናይ ግብረሽበራ(ትሮሪስት) ገይሩ ዝገለጻን ሰብ ኢዩ ኮይኑ ግን ቃላቱ ባዕሉ ይፈርዶ ኢዩ ሕጂ ውን እንተኾነ አባል ኢየ ዝኾነ ገበን እንተገይረ መን ይሕተት ዝዓይነቱ ፍርሑ ፍርሑ ዘሰኒ ደጋጊሙ ይሓትት ነይሩ ዝገርም ኢዩ………።
• አነ ከምታ ብጾተይ ዝተረዳዳእናላ አብ ደብረዘይት ዝኾነ አባልነት ኮነ ሓላፍነት ከይተቐበልና ከምዘመጻእና ማንም ተጋባአይ ደብረዘይት ይፈልጥ ጥራሕ ዘይኮነ ማንም ተጋባአይ ውን ይፈልጥ ነቲ ስጉምትና ድማ አድኒቖሞ ተሃዊኽና ብዘይ ምውሳንና ።
አነ ሚኪኤለ ዓንዳይ አብ ሰሚርካ ምስራሕ ኢየ ዝአምን ፡ምናልባት ከምቲ ጸላኢ ዝብሎ ደጋጊሙ ኢትዮጵያ ፡አሜሪካ፡ምስልምና፡አከለጉዛይ፡እንዳበለ ዝዘርኦ ፍልልይ ግዳዩ ኪኸውን አይደልን ኢየ፡ነቲ ስምረት ዝብል ቃል ብቓሉ ተቐቢለ ድማ ወላ ብ ሳሃራ ይኹን ህዝበይ ዝወሰኖ ዝተሰማማዓሉ ስትራተጂ ተጠቒመ ሽግረይ ንምፍታሕ ድሉው ኢየ።ኢትዮጵያ ስለዝኮነ ድማ ንድሕሪት አይብልን ኢየ እቲ ዝደልዮ ለውጢ ኢዩ፡ አገባብ ምምጻእ ለውጢ ድማ ከም ማሕበረይ ዘይጎነጻዊ ምዃኑ ከብርህ ይፈቱ ለውጢ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ብጎነጽ ኢዩ ክመጽእ ዝኽእል ድማ ይብል ፡አብነት ፎርቶ 2013 ይድግፎ ኢየ ኮለል ከይበልኩ ።
ከምሰብ ናይ ፖለቲካ ኤክስፐርት አይኮንኩን በቲ ተንኮላትን ሽጣራን ገድሊ (አገልግሎት)ስለዝሓለፍኩ ግን ብዙሕ ከይፈተኹ ፖለቲከኛ ተቐይረ ኢየ ነቲ ዝተበደልኩዎ ዝከሰርኩዎ ድማ አብ ካልኦት ከይሓልፍ እምበር ካልእ ፍሉይ ጽልኢ የብለይን።
• አነ ንዲሞክራሲ ፍትሕን ነጻነትን ሓርነትን ዘይነጻጸላ ጠለባትና ክቃለስ ኢየ ክብል ከለኹ ብድምጺ ተሳዒረ ወይ ውን ስዒረ ክሰርሕን ከስርሕን ድሉው ኢየ፡አብዝተረዳዳእናሉ ከድምዕ ድማ ይአምን ኮይኑ ግን ናይ ውሑዳት ሰባት ኮነ መንግስቲ ግዙእ ኪኸውን ሓሊመዮ አይፈልጥን ከይሳዕረረ ድማ ክቃለሶ ድሉው ኢየ።
• መራሕቲ ኤምዲሰመ ንቃልሲ ኤርትራ ብጽሑፍ ደፊሮሞ ነገር ግን ክምርዓዉዎ አይደለዩን ይመስሉ።
• ብትብዓት ዘረጋግጾ እንተሎ ድማ ናይ ሎሚ መራሕትና አባላት ዝበሎም ተግቢሮም ክመርሑ ድሉዋት ዘይሙዃኖም አፎም መሊኦም ዝተዛረቡሉ ምዃኑን ዝበዝሑ ድማ ኮርዮም ቁርሶም ድራሮም ዝገብሩ ታኪቦም ዝመርሑ ታአኪቦም ውን ዝበርሩ ሙዃኖም ንግዚኡ ካብ ኮንግረስ ናብ ኮንግረስ ዘሎ ግዜ ከምሰብና ስልጣን ንዓምጽ ወይ ንጥዓም ድአምበር ብጠለባት አባላቶም ዝግዝኡ ዘይሙኻኖም ኩልና ንፈልጦ ታሪኽ 2007 ኢዩ።
• ስለዚ ከይሳዕረረ ክቃለሶ ተበጊሰ አለኹ ክሳብ መወዳእታ ድማ አብ መትከለይን መትከል ውድበይ ኤምዲሰመ ከምዘለኹ ክሕብር ይፈቱ ።
