KHARTOUM, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) — Sudan on Thursday officially announced that there are potential security threats from Egypt and Eritrea on eastern Sudanese borders.

“The meeting of the Leadership Office of the (ruling) National Congress Party (NCP) has directed for continuation of security arrangements on Sudan’s eastern borders after receiving information on potential security threats from Egypt and Eritrea at Sawa area,” Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid, NCP’s Deputy Chairman, said in a statement.

Sudan announced early this week the closure of its eastern border with Eritrea and deployed thousands of troops along the border area.

Earlier news reports pointed out that Egyptian military reinforcements have reportedly arrived in Eritrea’s military base of Sawa.

On Jan. 4, Sudan said it decided to recall its ambassador to Egypt for consultations.

Relations between Egypt and Sudan have been tense over the past years on various issues, including their difference over the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam which Ethiopia is building on the main sources of the Nile River.

The two countries also have a territorial dispute over the border region of Halayeb and Shalateen, which are currently under Egyptian control.

Who cares when Arabs kill each other? Let their slave Abeeds worry about them or bend for them. My only worry is when the savage Arabs try to use my people as their condoms for their endless dream to burn my languages of Tigre Tirgrinya, to occupy my Red Sea lands and to control the African waters as fertile and precious as the Blue Nile and the White Nile. Are you surprised? That is how the savage Arabs treat their “Aswad Abeed” slaves even if they speak to them in their Arabish language by burning and hating their own lnaguages. Arabs only respect people who respect their own languages and identity. Look how the savage, rich Arab respects the Iranians, Turks, Israelis, Russians, Ethiopians, Chinese and every white christian. The Arabs bend for them and deposit all their banks and businesses to them but not to people who are ashamed of their own languages, history and identity.
Don’t worry if an Arab slave Abeed barks back like a dog to protect the “honour” of his Arab master below.

Dear Degoli – I find your article abhorrent and shameful. To sweep all Arabs with the same brush is like saying all Eritreans are the same as Isaias, which fortunately is not the case. Isiais is a devil for whom God has reserved a special place in hell.

But looking at the article above it seems 2018 started worryingly. Could Eritrea lose its hard one independence in the hands of the insane dictator who changes sides from one country to the other without sparing a thought? This is the issue we need to worry about most. The last thing we want is another 30-year of war to regain our independence. That would be a travesty of our martyrs.

      Eritrea forever, death to dictatorship.

Sudan must think about the consequence of thousands of troops who will flood along other thousands of civilians and over fill refugee camps and places like Kassala which couldn”t absorb the influx.
Death to the worst enemy of the Eritrean people -the dictator.
