In our country we are forced to see the media of the regime and dance by the rhythm of the regime and clap for whatever our insane president uttered shamelessly for the shameful sentences.

Leadership of any country is measured not only by the people who vote by their legs as we clearly see the exodus in Eritrea but by the way its citizens are treated outside their territory and how their passport is perceived.

Please find hereunder some of main parameters that show how the international public tells how healthy a country are:

1-      The number of investors

2-      Number of banks

3-      Number of newspapers

4-      Number of TV channels

5-      Flights and flight connections

6-      Number of Hotels

7-      GDP

8-      Governance

9-      Power of currency

10-  The power of national passport

Etc. Etc.

There is no need to explain each of them as it is clear where and how we are.

I am glad Mr. Biniam has not mentioned anything about America and Weyane as culprits for the failed state of Eritrea.

Let me share with you an article from Dehai which is the mouse piece of HIDEF which is self explanatory:

No visa required: Africa’s most powerful passports

Seychelles is the African country whose citizens have the most freedom to
visit other countries around the globe, while Eritrean passport holders
have the hardest time travelling.

A new infographic, designed by Rosie Spinks for GOOD magazine, ranks
countries according to the number of places their passports can enter
either without a visa, or with a visa on arrival.

The research shows that passport holders from Seychelles can visit 126
countries without having to apply for a visa. Mauritius, South Africa and
Botswana are the African countries ranked in second, third and fourth
places respectively. Nigeria, Africa’s largest economy, features in joint
33rd position.

Globally, passports from Finland, Sweden and the United Kingdom are the
most powerful, allowing citizens easy access to 173 countries. Afghanistan
is the lowest ranked country.

Strict visa requirements between African countries have been blamed for
holding back economic growth. “Africa is one of the regions in the world
with the highest visa requirements. Visa restrictions imply missed economic
opportunities for intra-regional trade and for the local service economy
such as tourism, cross-country medical services or education”, said Mthuli
Ncube, chief economist and vice-president of the African Development Bank,
during a conference last year.

Note: The original infographic doesn’t include Liberia or Somalia, and both
the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Republic of the Congo are referred
to as “Congo”.

Unquote:

If you google and see other sources you see the following facts that make the picture even grimmer.

Kenya has revoked the agreement with Eritrea because our regime was issuing our passport to Somalis, Oromo’s and many members of the Ethiopian opposition.

In addition to Kenya from the “No Visa Required 36 countries” Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq and Jordan require a visa at the moment.

This brings the “No Visa Required 36 countries” into 31.

Unfortunately, I expect the number will keep on shrinking as long as “The regime of shame and degradation” is in control of Eritrea!!!

      Hidat,
true, zeykenee ayweled- Habte is jealous because other countries are better than ours, because citizens of other countries are treated better than us Eritreans. What he wrote is fact. To say ‘abzo kula abesa zeyele mengisti eritra’ is just exposing yourself and how much you love your people and country. Shame on you!

Do you think there is a government in Eritrea ?
Please come in the open, and see what is happening in our country.

    • Geja July 24, 2014

How can you have a government when the regime sees itself as an Arab appendix? Slave-Abeed nations can not be a worthy nation, have there ever been one?

    Well ,

Out of the 10 criterias the author pointed out, At least education is not one of the measures of one country’s prosperity & development.

    Hiray,
Why do you worry about things which do not belong to the regime in Eritrea? It is one of the best group of gangs in torturing, killing, disappearance, falsifying, cheating, confusing, lying, dividing, blackmailing, in short the best of the evil

  • fithawi July 27, 2014
