The Eritrean government has been intensifying its diplomatic activities particularly in the first week of September in Nairobi. The Foreign Minister Mr. Osman Salih and Mr.Yeman Gebreab, the Head of the PFDJ and the Political Advisor to the Dictator had arrived in Kenya on 1stof September and left on 6th of September. On 15th of September, the First Secretary of the Eritrean Embassy in Kenya, Mr.Yohannes Berhe, addressed a group of Eritreans on behalf of the Ambassador of Eritrea to Kenya Mr. Beyene Russom and proudly claimed that the two state dignitaries had met and discussed with the Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Ambassador Amina Mohammed and H.E. Uhura Kenyatta on bilateral matters that concern both countries.
In addition, the First Secretary claimed that Ambassador Beyene Russom met and discussed with the Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Ambassador Amina Mohammed and H.E. Uhura Kenyatta on Friday the 13th of September. On both occasion the meetings were approved to be constrictive and successful.
However, the Group of Concerned Eritreans residing in Kenya – , has investigated the claims and all were found to be baseless and total fabrication – in the first place, there were no such meetings which had taken place in Nairobi. According to our reliable sources they only managed to conduct informal meetings with some junior government officials.
This false claim was merely political propaganda and shows that the regime has lost its grip of power and does not have any place in Kenya. We condemn such act of falsification of facts in the strongest possible terms and the Embassy should apologize publicly to the miss-informed Eritreans and the government of Kenya for the diplomatic offence the Embassy had committed.

Well well – after all that pain and mess. I also expected the Gov. of Eritrea to go and start last ditch to create links and friendship. Why? I expected that is about the only thing left for their survival. Slowly but surely it has closed on all corners on them. It might work since the opposition is pretty much useless except some brave individuals. Mostly the gals! Eritrean Gals!
If anyone is reading my comment from Gov. Eritrea – let me give you one simple advice. Take care of the people. Take care of your people. First people and then everything else will fall in place. Ethiopian issue, power, all that you will fix. Take care of your people first in kind. Land comes after people. You have it all mixed up and messed up. Watching remotely and closely at times as the train speeds up. BTW: those who will flee now and have done so recently…..I say shame on you…. So that is my say – take care of your people. That is how you came to power and survived the “forgotten places”…. Peace to Eritrea.

In the 20 years existence of Eritrea I haven’t seen any representative of higdef mafia welcomed at any Airport of Europe and America as official visitors of countries and territories apart Sudan and Uganda. Who would invite terrorist rapist and criminalist in the free world? They beat around Qatar, Sudan and one time in Uganda. It is a shame and pain such a country of mine represented with such fool and idiots who cannot even deserve to administrate a village of 20.
