Dr Alganesh Fessaha, President of Gandhi NGO Awarded Two Awards in Separate Occasions: “Ambrogino d'oro golden medal” by the Mayor of Milan as well as National Prize in Rome in Recognition of her Humanitarian Work

Dr Alganesh Fessaha, President of Gandhi NGO Awarded Two Awards in Separate Occasions: “Ambrogino d’oro golden medal” by the Mayor of Milan as well as National Prize in Rome in Recognition of her Humanitarian Work & Supporting Eritrean and African Refugees.

The ‘Ambrogino d’oro’ is the City of Milan golden honour medal, conferred every year to a small number of Milan citizens, in recognition of extraordinary support to the City, the inhabitants, the culture and the image of Milan in the world.

Translation of the motivation for awarding the 2013 Ambrogino d’oro golden medal to Alganesh Fessaha, by the Mayor and the City authorities in a public ceremony held in Milan on the 7th of December 2013:

Alganesh Fessaha is a Milan citizen of Eritrea origin, citizen of the word in light of the peace ideal guiding her meritorious work in African and Near East countries as President of ‘Gandhi’ NGO.

With same humanitarian spirit of the ‘Giusti della storia’ she puts her own life at risk to free Sub-Saharian refugees mostly from Eritrea, Ethiopia and Sudan, brutally kidnapped and tortured.

She saved hundreds of men, women and children, victims of most cruel human trafficking in the planet.

She delivers schooling projects and professional training and promotes acceptance and integration of refugees in Milan

immediately after the Lampedusa shipwreck tragedy she rescued and supported the survivors, performing also a precious function of liaison with the families in the countries of origin.

Anta David… Even if she was from Tembien,Adwa or Mekele or from any other part in the world .. She is a unique great strong intelligent and very very brave woman!!! Because of people like you the peacekeeping process in all AFRICA is too slow. You are very surely one of those westernised highly uneducated primitive minded people who like diverting people?!?!

Saba I am just stating the fact. You see Saba we Eritrean especially the Tigringa do not know were we came from, so I am just doing my part to educated my people. I am sorry if you understand my statement in the wrong way. I have no problem with Dr. Alganesh. She is a great person who is helping her people. She is an Eritrean just like Isaias, monkey, and kisha are.

David.. I have to apologise too, i judged you too early. Was not my intention at all.

    • Suleiman Salim December 8, 2013

Fissaha Gandi is from Hamassien just like Issaias Afeworki of Tselot, the Lion of Nakfa.

    • Suleiman Salim December 8, 2013

Fissaha Gandi is from Hamassien just like President ISSAIAS AFEWORKI ABRAHAM of TSELOT(Asmara), the LION OF NAKFA.

      • David December 8, 2013

Suleiman i am glad you think highly of isaias. I personally think isaias is a weak man, who is mad at the whole world for getting his ass kicked by Woyane and he is taking his anger at Eritrean. Yes, isaias is Hamassien and i am hamassien as well, but do you know were the majority of Hamassien came from? The majority of hamassiens came from Tembien just like isaias and many of us including me. This is a lesson for today.

I protest energeticaly that Dr Alganesh Fesseha Gandi was awarded “Ambrogino d’oro golden medal” by the Mayor of Milan & Received National Prize in Rome in Recognition of her Humanitarian Work!!!!

May I friendly ask you what the true efforts catagorically were? Yes she may have served the political mission of the [for me] UNKNOWN POWERs, but I have not yet seen any concrete solution to the at least 4-6 years durations of the Sinai Dilema. I can not deney that the dictator is behind the scene, but in this time range the whole world has only watched instead of freeing the victims from killings and torture. This silence concerns also Mrs Fesseha. I know nobody who was helped by Mrs Alganesh neither from paying the desired ransom or from being killed – this is the fact.

I will mkae my noise louder and my protest will never break – she or her colaborator Sheik Mohammed don’t deserve it. CRY, Cry, Cry !!!! I mean this based on the many facts not yet publicized. STOP making PR though I hate DIA and his regime, Eritrean victims were left alone even from UNHCR! There are many others who deserve the award, but never this woman or Sheikk Mohammed !!!

… so there are still many Eritreans suffering in the Eritrea to trans Arab slave trade in the Year 2014?
When will Eritrea stop selling its own citizens to the Arab slave trade and the forced harvest of Eritreans organ supply to the Arabs end?
When will Eritreans stand up to demonstrate in front of the Arab embassies in Washington DC, London, Sydney, Ottawa, Stockholm, Berlin, Rome …

  • Haqi December 8, 2013

No Arab Bedouin or savage Rashaida will respect Eritreans unless Eritreans respect themselves. No Arab respects any black person from the Arab world let alone from poor Eritrea.
If you do not respect who you are, no Arab will give you a shit.

See below how an Arab normally treat black “Arabs”:
