Twenty years  ago some of our compatriots were complaining to the approaches we are using in dealing  with our national problems. This complaint is well founded, because we should have first put the framework of finding of the exact problems and then lay down the  sequences of the sources of the problem accordingly. Without such analysis it is always difficult to make certain of your problems and find the right solution to the cause of the indignation.

Some analysts did mention that  the main source of our current problem lay in the history of  the armed struggle’s militancy ( The glorification of ghedli’s Yosief Ghebrehiwet theory), some completely reject the Marxist  orientation to gain support from the East as one of the causes. Some even ask wether the Colonial past was the source  of our divisive political ideas. Those who advocate for ethnic-emanicipation,  acuse the source of our division can be put into one ethnic group’s dominant mentality.

Which ever way we go, we are sure that our political & social understanding of the cause of our misfortune of non-inclussive group forming lays in the upbringing of us as  children of  town-dwellers and village-residents in our country  i.e…… the Asmarinos Colonial nostalgy and the morality of our village life do not reconcile at all. We cannot remain complaining, though due to the emergency required to Salvage our Eritrea from the Tyrant. Here are some that might help us to put some strategic thinking and  practices:

The key points to make a successful Strategy:

a.Your strategy tells you how you’ll achieve success, no matter how that success is defined. And whether you’re developing a strategy at the personal, team or organizational level, the process is as important as the outcome.

b.Identify your unique capabilities, and understand how to use these to your advantage while minimizing threats. The process and tools identified above will help you identify a variety of potential strategies for success, so that you can ultimately choose the one that’s right for you.

A problem-solving Strategy can also help at this stage. If your problem is that you’re not achieving your goals, ask yourself how you can ensure that you do. (If everyone in your organization finds it hard to deal with a particular problem, then you may gain a competitive edge by dealing with it.). We need Evaluating and selecting strategic Options.

The Bologna Summit,…………….. according to Seyoum Tesfaye;

“The primary responsibility is reserved for EYSC to go beyond initiating the Bologna Summit and address all outstanding and possible concerns in a palatable manner, however the fundamental issue then becomes how Eritreans should address their national issues in a rational, tempered, in a none-arrogant, none-isolationist political deliberation that does not deploy nationalism as a toxic weapon but as a source of pride that engenders a sense of responsibility to do our share to resolve our vexing national conflict“

Would this summit then solve the many divisions, splits and confrontation within the Eritrean opposition ,which is due to the application of the worst form of conflict resolution.?

To my opinion we are still far behind solving such divisions unless we identify the causes and select a right  conflict mangement and a right Strategy

We have all observed from the time the regime in Asmara flared unwanted wars against Yemen, Ethiopia, The Sudan and later with Djibouti. Extrem behaviour of Xenophebia against all these countries we have observed closely  in the form of beating the war drums.

Some time ear defenning. Asmara Demitsi Hafash and Asmara EriTv,  were extremely irrational when broadcasting hatred slogans pointing towards our neighboring countries. Only an irresponssible leader does allow such xenophobic behaviour to flourish in a society.

Come what may be……… the xenophobic behaviour can continue as long as the lunatic and irrational leader stays in his saddle. Young people learn things wongly  from their parents or older friends, unless corrected for the best methodes of approaching issues accordingly.

Governments choose to put their evil intentions on the Youth or young generations, unless stopped from poluting  the whole genration with their Xenophobia.

Nationalism is militant hatred. It is not love of our countrymen: that which denotes good citzenship, philantropy, practical religion, should go by the name of patriotism.

Nationalism is passionate xenophobia. It is fanatical, as all forms of idol-worship are bound to be……………………………..While Patriotism, the desire to work for the common weal, can be,must be,reasonable: “My country, may she be right!’ Nationalism spurns reason:”Right or wrong, my country”” –Albert L.Guerard

“Eritrean Solutions for Eritrean Problems”? Is this the only  way, the new generation can resolve the Eritrean problem.? Or do they see it broadly in the Context of a peacefull Co-existence?

Conflict Management is  the science of including all the Stakeholders and listen to the grievances of all those who have suffered most. Eritrean youth are trying to identify themselves with the past history of their predecesors for the wrong reason.

“ Bologna was the site of indetermination, confussion, money laundering  and dominanace by the EPLF. It was in Bologna that some of us gave our virginity to slavery, and incompetency and dogmatic ideas.”  We lost our logical reasoning and pragmatism, so I wouldn’t envy those who lost their mind and dance with the Wolves.

Badme ,Badme,…don’t yoy know as there are so many Ethiopians who claim gash Barca to be the territory of Ethiopia ,let alone badme. So pls you guys who are barking at weyane and tigreans ,try to stand on your agenda not against others.Find your solution by facing the reality of THE SOURCE OF YOUR PROBLEMS,SELF ILLUSION, poor, new country under-formation,….these are the realities in Ethiopia,..as is in any African new born country.
Eritrea has so many projects to wind up before coming up with a sustainable existence, some of these projects are, the issue of kebesa/metahit,the issue o zobawinet, the issue of afar,kunama,saho,..Democratic process .so much so many.
So, pls find ways and means how to deal with these conditions.
let me remind you this speech by romodan mohamod nur along with his comrade and translator, sebaht efrem during the congress of TPLF in 1975 EC, after watching the vibrant political leadership of TPLF, specially the than emerging young leaders, tewelde, tsdkan, meles siye..Romodan says as follows
”this power will not only save tigray or Ethiopia ,this power is a life saver of the whole east Africa”where sibhat was trying to misinterpret his speech. Unfortunately romodan interrupted sibhat and reaffirmed what he feel.
The so called ghedli protectors still you are not in a position to cure your wounds, it is up to the moral value and strategic importance of TPLF/EPRDF to solve the Eritrean political problem.Be ready to see a federal Eritrean state ,just like what tplf are doing in Somalia.
We will see the peaceful relation of the two countries again, not far !!
this is the continuation of our sacrifice in sahel ,1982

Those of you(the timkihitegna Amharas and the illusionists) will sink, those democratic Eritreans will cross the sea along with their neighbors, and see the new era ,the light is very visible at the end of the tunnel..
