If this is correct, then the Eritrean opposition, which has been counting on Woyane to remove Isaias afewerki, is duped. But then, within the opposition, the hard core, the Abdella Edris group, has been espousing to divide Eritrea into two , highland and lowland, autonomous states under the hegemony of Ethiopia, with which Woyane and isaias afewerki concur as a step in the right direction. The oppositions , therefore, do not have a common goal.
However, the rest of the opposition groups are also indicating, as Rezen Habte lately has made it clear in writing, to go along with the idea of the Abdella Edris group. The reason he stated is that the Eritrean Muslims have become too fanatic to coexist with the Eritrean Christians. But his reason is false.
