    Dr. Ghebre,
What a fantastic analysis is this, it was excellent presentation. A group of about twenty people just finished listening to you in a people friendly coffee shop in Toronto, and we have nothing to say except to thank you and admire you.,
    Thank you very much again.

    • Tsehaye August 28, 2016

Would you still admire and thanking him very much if you were to find out that he (Dr. Ghebre) was also Tembenay just like how you used to worship and lick Esayas’s boots before you found out about his Tembenian? You also told us previously that you go to gym in Toronto and discuss Eritrean politics with some black men! Just out of curiosity, do you get your usual hade mezmur lessons of death to Tenbenay at this cafe’s and gym’s in Toronto of retarded and sicko people.
Only poor ignorant and obedient slaves thank so much to anything that comes or given to them as they summit their slave minds and will to their masters.

        Tsehaye,
I have nothing against Tembeni people.,and yes I would admire and respect Dr Ghebre, even if he was a Tembenay.
When I say or refer to Iseyas as a tembenay that is a fact and and that is not just a manufactured name.
It is very stupid to say that I licked Iseyas boots, I have never been Iseyas or PFDJ supporter, and I will never ever be his supporter in the future either..
The notion of supporting Iseyas is reserved to zombies like you, who are sub humans with the IQ of HIBEY MAI DEMA.
People like indeed are retarded that is why you don’t think or feel the pain of the Eritrean people who are perishing in the deserts, seas, and the border area..
Your masters generals raping your young sisters, the young are becoming modern day slaves, the whole world is referring to Eritreans as MESAKIN,
Eritrea has changed to hell on Earth where the only progress is in building prisons and torture camps only..
Eritrea with a small population is exporting refugees wave after wave, children as young as 10 to 15 years are fleeing the biggest prison on Earth.
Go to Asmara and see and experience the pain of the mothers, the sick, and the thousands of homeless people.
You must be sick or mentally retarded to try to defend the worst enemy of our people..
Zombie, open your eyes, don’t wait until your close relative is put in Adi Abeito, or get kidnapped by Iseyas friend the Rashidas or worse still they are shot dead on the border..
What do you think of the thousands of who died in the sea and the desert and are unrecognized by your master, who will never ever returned to their families so that the families get closure..
I wish you pain and suffering equal to pain of the Eritrean father and mother.

          Berhe “Afari”,
I hear you missed your gym to respond to me with three pages long halewlews and Kolo TiTiko tsewetsewayat. Again out of curiosity, what do you really do in the gym apart from your “tsemam Hade derfu” death to Tembenay mezmur lessons? Do the black men in the gym get you to sell them some hard staffs as well? You seem to be too dumb and desperate loner that would do anything for small cheap fame/name and payment.
You are a sad and pathetic attention seeker so weak and confused loser.

          • Berhe Tensea August 30, 2016

            Tsehaye,
Keep changing your pen name coward., how much do you get paid, paid agent?

        Tsehaye(Tembenay)
Brother Tsehaye ,it would have been better if you left our brother Berhe T to admire ,admire and admire to every new comer..The only criteria is he/she must not be from Temben. Any way because of you ,Berhe didn’t go to his gym(to write 3 pages of answers ),so you are accountable .
,According to our brother Berhe , 20 ppl at the same place and the same time listened Dr. Ghebre and all admired ……….where is this bar in Toronto ? I visited the city last year ,i should have seen it .May be next time.
Tsehaye,i wonder when did our ppl start to admire every new comer ? Unfortunately we lost our self confidence completely ,e.g.,

    Dr Ghebre,

Your analysis is superb because you tried to link it to reality in current Eritrea. In a nutshell, the newly found natural resource, I think is already being used on spy network to silence and disperse opposition. Eritreans, unless we unify our efforts and make a huge stride in attacking hard core PFDJ, all Eritreans might well end up leaving Eritrea for good.

The best way is to locally organise ourselves and elect members who would then form a unified diaspora government who should be funded by us and work full time to do what they can on our behalf against the dictatorial government. We really need to find able, honest, hard working above all loyal to the interest of Eritreans, at large. All intellectuals are needed to play their part in this part.. Educated Eritreans need to be welcomed but we all need to work on consensus. Democratic process is the only way.

Eritrean government is doing what they can to stay in power while opposition parties are spending proportional time to digest or understand how the government is attacking us. Even here in diaspora, PFDJ is not only controlling our population but also pushed most Eritreans into silent majority. How? By installing fear – may be. Until we know how and rectify this, we may not move forward as fast as we would like. I strongly think that a democratically elected diaspora government that takes a lead on our behalf is a first step,
    Solomon.

Living in the west should at least teach us to tolerate our difference of opinion in a civilised manner. What is common in us Eritreans is that we all want what is best for all Eritreans. The topic at hand is a lecture by Dr Ghebre. On that merit, Berha expressed his appreciation and Tsehaye and Tefeno attacked Berha citing Seraye – Tigray origin. That is not necessary and out of order. What is the purpose of the belittling? If Dr Ghebre as he said is a member of Eritrean Democratic Movement and coupled by his desire to see through our problems then surely Dr Ghebre is part of the solution to our problem.

Division among Eritreans can never be of benefit to Eritreans. Both Elf and Eplf are our freedom fighters who played their part in securing our Independence. Please give them credit where it is due. We need to learn to understand each other, in the hope that we find solutions for the sake of all Eritreans. Our Eritrean government is consisted of our brothers and sisters that we love very much. If their policy is not serving Eritreans at large, we need to voice it. The ones airing their views are probably more interested in Eritrea’s betterment. The purpose here is to find solution so that we leave a better Eritrea for our future generation.

If Eritrean government was to declare tomorrow:

    – all Eritreans are free to live, express their feeling and participate in a democratic process
    – all crimes to be exposed so that we learn what happened and prevent it from happening
    – rule of law leading to implementation of constitution as dictated by our unique Eritrean situation

I am sure I will support our government but equally tolerate anyone else who will differ legally. Eritreans are not against their people – that would be unnatural. Governments may manipulate us – we still have to use our common sense. Let us not attack each other – that is not what your motherland want you to do. Eritrea expect you to use your resource to consolidate your efforts for the good of all Eritreans.

That also apply to some members supporting the government line.

Why are we not doing what you are suggesting?

I think because our government has not allowed a room for civic society to start. In theory, I accept but in reality it is becoming almost impossible. The question for all of is: Where do we go from here to achieve a medium where Eritrean problems can be solved for the benefit of all Eritreans. Personally, our government need to take a lead. May be those Eritreans who are trusted by the government should face that challenge.

      Desalegn,
A very wise advice . thank you very much.

  • Yeakel September 1, 2016

Where is he from? Is he Eritrean or not? Please make clear where this man come from?

  • Solomon September 1, 2016

Yeakel, why are you so fixed it on his nationality? If he said he belongs to Eritrean Democratic Party, it is highly likely that he is Eritrean. Let us say he is not Eritrean but he wants to contribute in solving Eritrean problem. Then challenge him on the content of his lectures. Most Eritreans in diaspora have been naturalised and are treated as citizens of western countries. Even some have not only participated in the political life of those countries and but also became MPs for their constituents. We all need to grow up.

  • Michael Tesfamariam September 3, 2016

He was my former instructor at UOA, and is one of the most passionate lecturers I have ever been taught by at UOA. I was so glad to be able to talk him on the phone after 11 years. For my surprise, I did my MSc in the same field of study at the same Scottish uni where he did his MSc.

  • solomon September 5, 2016

Thank you Michael for the added important information. He passion may have helped you to further your education and lecturing at UOA also shows his determination to help Eritreans. I hope you continue to further your education so that together we can help protect Eritreans’ interest in a democratic way.
