    when I heard black propaganda on the Assenna always my crapometer goes off the scale. Because, some people are not aware and do not even feel that they are being pushed people in a certain direction. They purports to emanate from a source other than the true source. Sometimes the source is concealed or credited to a false authority and spreads lies, fabrications, and deceptions which relies on the willingness of the receiver to accept credibility. Most of the creators or senders of the black propaganda message do not adequately understand their intended audience.

    Anytime that I hear something of these types of creative deceit, I don’t believe it, I do not need confirmation too. So to day I want really little point to expound about Assana day to day propaganda. My opinion so as we are leaving the area of fallacies or deceptions. I think this is the difference between what some refer to as moral obligation vs moral opportunity. Because one would put himself at some level of risk, I view this as a moral obligation —an obligation to help another person at the risk of your own well being. This requires an rather quick evaluation of the situation to compare the benefits with the risks. I feel that we have no right to demand people jeopardize their own well being for the benefit of another. Overall, the net effect could be negative.

    So in short, we should encourage people to stop bullying just like we should encourage people to help with any social good. But encouragement should not be confused with demanding a moral obligation. But we should not bypass the bewilderment and labeling that person for his choice to intercede.For me, it is not in a context of argumentation (not really). Ignorance is generally not an excuse for fallacies. Thus, in fact, this fallacy is based on ignorance… the person making the statement being ignorant of the choices. If the person knows there are other choices but is not offering them, this is more of a form of manipulation.

    While it is possible to go into detail about each point, I am mainly concerned with 13 months kid stolen from her mother and deceptiveness. I are not advocating that propaganda is wrong; I have tried to show, that overall it is usually helpful to respond to messages ponder mindlessly, and that the truly only way to defend against it is to be more aware of the tactics being used like fish is to air as cat is to water. Car is to sky as plane is to ground. Glove is to feet as sock is to face. It’s simple, just think of some things and then swap them around.

    So in short, I should encourage people to stop bullying just like I should help with any social good. But encouragement should not be confused with demanding a moral obligation. Thus why what I today have come to a point where it is no longer even necessary for media institutions to attempt to hide and help blatant work of manipulating public, manufacturing consent, and creating winners and losers in the minds of the already brain washed public.

    However, the thing I wonder most is why here in Assenna blame PFDJ for everything? I’m pretty open minded. I like listening and watching most commentary. You just always have appetite to listen slanted ventilation’s. Truth is not allowed to get in this way. This’s slant and bias outright fabrication and deceit.

    By the way you are trying to defame a free website rather than criticize the brutal PFDJ. People are suffering under this evil regime. You know there is no free press, no election. no free movement, no parliament and no provision of basic commodities. In short everything is controlled. Unlike other countries no journalists are allowed and worst of all the youth must serve in the military for the whole of their life without pay. Are you trying to tell us that Eritrea under PFDJ is heaven? I am sure you know the truth but you were ordered to write this text by the Mafia regime. An example of PFDJ trying to coerce people even outside Eritrea is what their thugs tried to do in the Netherlands last year. Now that its base is being eroded it is becoming restless. I am sure its downfall is nearing. I wonder why this stupid guy is trying to attack Assena. If you want verification go to Cairo and try to oppose the PFDJ., They will eliminate you there and then.

        I am not a fake Gezae. I am Gezae Tekie Asgodom. Most Sagm members know me as BiEmner or NEBSAY in Ethiopia. I am an independent ie I follow democratic policy rather than party. I am also critical supporter. I don’t think that is a coincidence. People are heavily invested in their ideologies. They consider them to be indivisible from their identity. So any “assault” on their ideology or believe is an assault on their identity.
        Few people have to ability to discuss something rationally and potentially have to admit that they might be wrong. They’d rather listen to the talking head then actually have to think.
        Because politics is a negotiation of (that sometimes turns into a struggle for) power between people’s conflicting values, beliefs, identities and visions – in short, the things that really matter to us, and sometimes they conflict in a way that is fundamentally irreconcilable. Engaging in politics doesn’t just challenge our ideas about what we want the Eritrea to be, it challenges our assumptions about what Eritrea is, and many people don’t react well to that.
        Because we have placed too much value on parties and people instead of principles. We have vested far too much time, money and tears in those two things. When our “side” fails us, we don’t want to admit we were wrong. It is too much to ask of most people. They would have to begin to question everything they have ever believed. Most people don’t want to do that.
        Principles are easy and consistent. We have most of them in common. Politics and politicians make excuses to abandon principles for the ends. Thus, the course is all about the rhetoric and how we “feel.”
        If we would put our faith in our national principles over our national interests we would find our way toward each other. Interests change. Principles are universal and eternal.
        In my opinion, media outlets should cut down on the anger and hatred that have become the norm in reader exchanges. “It’s valuable to allow all sides of an argument to be heard. But it’s not valuable for there to be personal attacks, or to have messages with an extremely angry tone. Even someone who is making a legitimate point but with an angry tone is hurting the nature of the argument, because they are promoting people to respond in kind,” he said. “If on a website comments are left up that are making personal attacks in the nastiest way, you’re sending the message that this is acceptable human behavior

      Hey compatriots Why do you make things up? I am one who believes in a democratic reform. I am not one who said it is never appropriate to criticize a government. But I do believe there are constraints on your criticism. I also think that it is perfectly appropriate to debate our criticisms much like the way families discuss issues internally. But when we voice those issues outside of the family/unity, we need to be very deliberate in how we speak lest we destroy the family in the process. We must consider that if the government of Eritrea as country fall, it will not be replaced by forces that will move it farther along the road but backwards. That will strengthen the contemporarly enemies of our own liberation intrinsically connected to the government. So we ignore that fact of our own peril. Of course, we are likely to make critical thinking on basic value for democratic reform/change only insofar. Therefore, we must become practitioners of critical thought.

      So I really disregard, your responses are sheer lunacy . Lets tell you the truth, unless you’re in a position to make a difference politically. You’ve signed up for a rally or donation really doesn’t matter. Sure, understandably, every press is biased because it is depend in self interest. if we are speaking of the Assenna Medium then exteemly anti-PFDJ/PIA. Period.       Because we are human and have egos that are catered to instead of challenged by sound logic, morality, and optimism. There is even a hormone that anger gives a 90 second pleasure feel, but no one is taking a deep long breath before jumping back on the hate train. Fear mongering media would rather more biased than practice journalistic integrity, and promote multi-thousands infotainers that do not know the extent of the damage they do by preaching from the extreme and calling their adversaries evil.

      I know percisely politics provides a hiding place for both the good and the bad by blurring them together so no one knows who is who. We, as the common people, as the outsiders, do not understand it. Cannot trust it. Because we are not inside that circle. It is both the understanding of the horrors within, as well as the misunderstandings of the sacrifices that has to be made in this dangerous game, that makes people angry. They become highly proficient at finding evidence that supports their ludicrous beliefs but their viewpoints are so constricted that they can’t see the forest for the trees.

      However, we most of us residing in a free country, we depend on the media for information about our country and others. If the press or media sounds the alarm about some danger, we have to pay attention and obviousely suspition. If we have lost confidence because of its extremely biases – then there’s a good chance we’ll ignore it. And that could be also dangerous.

      Do you understand many people decide to make changes in their daily lives based on anecdotes, or stories. For example, let’s say that of AMAR . Although this type of story is very common, it lacks critical-thinking skills. If we examine this anecdote a little more carefully, you should be able to understand why? How? Is this conclusion based on evidence or gut feelings? I understand, sometimes the topic of discussion is more personal for one person while it’s just politics for the other person –worse yet, a game.We can think of lots of examples here, I’m sure.Sometimes the person is attacking and then playing innocent with “it’s just politics.”It depends a lot on the situation. Finally, while I’m of the opinion that offense isn’t useful for much, anger is, and politics deals with important things, things that are worth getting angry about.
