By the way, this incompetent self-imposed ruler (criminal Isaias) lately secretly subsidized buses and funded bus tickets to promote BUY ONE TICKET AND GET 100 TICKETS FREE IN ORDER TO EMPTY THE WHOLE POPULATION OF ERITREA. This is more than treason and as an enemy of Eritrea and its people all Assenna family should vote big “NO’ confidence.

Isaias must be removed from power so that Eritrean people live in peace. Isaias is always against peace.

Questioning Assenna ? I am not sure why this question is asked to public. removal of Isaias is 20 years overdue. Assenna has taken us many years back. So please remove the question.
    Thank you

    Dear all,

Legend has it that there was a community of mice who lived under constant terror of a single and merciless cat. The mice new what the problem was but not the solution to the problem. Years passed by, and countless mice lost their lives. One day a few of the elderly mice got together to discuss how to emancipate themselves from the grip of the cat’s ruthless tyranny. After spending several hours braistorming, they came with one brilliant idea and that was to tie a bell around the cat’s neck so when the cat is within the vicinity of the mice habbitat, the mice would be able to hear the bell ringing and get to safety soon. Generating an idea was pretty easy but implementing it. The mice did not realize how difficult it would be and it could cost them arms and legs to say the least. The meeting went well and every participant was happy until one curious mouse stood up and asked, “Who is going to volunteer to tie the bell around the cat’s?” The meeting hole was dead silent…no clapping, no giggling or laughing and no eye-to-eye contacting. No mouse want to die for the common good of the village mice. The terror and the suffering continued unabated. The moral of the story is that the suffering of the the Eritrean people under the PFDJ mafia will equally continue until people know the price of freedom and liberty is human life.

        Dear aditekelezan,

I love your great sense of humor. It is loaded with wisdom. Eons passed since the story was told to me, and my memory did not serve me right. I totally forgot how the meeting was concluded. I think they had conducted countless meetings since then. The recent was done somewhere in the US.

27 years on power it’s good enough and he does do anything for the country unless poverty, low less etc…

  • መፍቀሬ ኢየሱስ December 23, 2018

    Dear Assenna, and all readers

We did not vote this tyrant in, in the first place.
He has been murdering us for decades and now the country is almost depopulated.
He destroyed the life chances of our youths.
He destroyed our institutions, laws, culture, religion… These were the values many gallant Eritreans gave their lives for.

Therefore, your question is not well placed.

A more appropriate question could have been: Isaias Afwerki to & co to ICC. Yes/No?

Or, alternatively, ask the public on ow to remove him from power.

Merry Christmas to those who celebrate.
