My growth experience has shown me that regardless of background, location or education, you can still achieve your dreams. All we need is a helping Hands. My dream is to help the helpless and empower the weak as well as to advocate for social and justice issues. Helping Hands International Services (HHIS) is my vision and with it we shall change the world, one at a time. Absolutely! You and I can change the world. Our contributions, no matter how small is enough to give a helping Hands. Together let’s give a helping Hands.

Introduction
For people who don’t know Chicago, Helping Hands International Services HHIS is inviting you to discover this beautiful City in Illinois with its wonderful view along the (I should capital L and Lake Michigan and its architecture that attract many refugees and immigrants across the world.
The variety of its population and the inequality of the inhabitants offer a lot of opportunities for people with gift to create services for people in needs and unable to face daily challenges the society and the environment impose to them.
It is in this kind of circumstance, some motivated people decided to create Helping Hands International Service to solve some of these problems.
WHO ARE WE: A group of people inspired by a common determination to meet socio-economic needs through a charitable association and co-operation; to build a constructive sense of communities wellness and promote cultural identity; and in response to aspiration of necessity to support and assist Refugees and people in needs here at Chicago Land and in the USA for mankind and solidarity, to the general progress of welfare and to support everyone facing life challenges, Pledge to use our resources and experience to build a sound socio-economic and cultural base, beneficial to all.
ABOUT HHIS: Helping Hands International Services is created and registered in Chicago as a social and charitable Non-for-Profit organization dedicated to serve in various domains here in USA and elsewhere in the world where our services are needed.
Mission statement: Helping Hands International Services is created to provide social, educational and charitable services to immigrants, refugees and all underserved communities in Chicago Illinois. By providing these services HHIS is intend offer equal opportunity to all here in Chicago and all across the globe as possible.
Structure: HHIS has the following structure:
- the General Assembly (GA)
- the Board of Directors (BD)
- the Board of Advisors (BA)
Beside this structure, HHIS also has a staff among them volunteers, interns and Peers who working to achieve its goal and objectives.
WHAT WE DO:
In Chicago,
-we are doing the HIV and Hepatitis C outreach among African refugees and immigrants across the City.
-we do address all type of problems facing African immigrants for example we assist needy people find place where they can get food medical assistance shelters etc. Soon HHIS will provide these services when our finances will allow it.
-we promote cultural activities by identifying available talents among different African communities for the benefit of all.
-we help solving housing issues for refugees, homeless and people in the hardship.
-we organize workshops, conferences and meetings listen, to educate and inform people from various communities to help satisfy their needs and ease their integration in the American society where they feel rejected sometimes.
-we help find solutions for legal issues and also involved in language translations in order to reduce cost to refugees and immigrants who already facing financial difficulties.
-To keep couples and families strong, we offer counseling sessions to families who request our services and we do that to reduce the high divorce rate in African communities. Saving marriage in African communities is a way to assure a better and balances life four children ground for good education and success in general.
