ዕድመኦም ኣብ 70’ታት ዝገማገም ጸጉራም ተቀማጣይ ጾሮና ኣቦ፡ ኣብ 1999፡ ብዛዕባ ኩናት ኣብ መንጎ ኤርትራን እትዮጵያን ነዕልለሉ ኣብ ዝነበርና እዋን “ጅግንነት ተጋደልቲ ኣብ በረኻ’ዩ ነይሩ’ምበር ዓዲ ኣቲኹም መንግስትነት ምስሓዝኩምስ ኣይግድን፡ ምምሕዳር ኣይክኣልኩሞን፡ ምኽሪ ዓበይትን ወራዙትን

ዕድመኦም ኣብ 70’ታት ዝገማገም ጸጉራም ተቀማጣይ ጾሮና ኣቦ፡ ኣብ 1999፡ ብዛዕባ ኩናት ኣብ መንጎ ኤርትራን እትዮጵያን ነዕልለሉ ኣብ ዝነበርና እዋን “ጅግንነት ተጋደልቲ ኣብ በረኻ’ዩ ነይሩ’ምበር ዓዲ ኣቲኹም መንግስትነት ምስሓዝኩምስ ኣይግድን፡ ምምሕዳር ኣይክኣልኩሞን፡ ምኽሪ ዓበይትን ወራዙትን ድማ ኣይትቅበሉን” ዝበልዋ ሓሳብ እናሻዕ’ያ ትዝከረኒ። እቶም ኣቦ፡ ብህይወት ከምዘለዉ’ኳ እንተዘይፈለጥኩ ነዚ ሎሚ ኣብ ኤርትራ ዘሎ ግዕዙይ ምምሕዳርን ሕሰምን ይዕዘብዎ እንተልዮም ግን፡ “ሓቅኹም ኣይስሓትኩምን ለባምን መስተውዓልን ኣቦ” ምበልኩዎም። ድሕሪ ናጽነት፡ ኤርትራ ሓዳስ ሃገር ጥራይ ዘይኮነ ብስርዓታት ኢትዮጵያ ዝተዳህከ ማሕበራዊ፡ ቁጠባን ትሕተ ቅርጺ’ውን ኢና ተረኪብና። ይኹን እምበር፡ ንልዕሊ 20 ዓመታት፡ “ኤርትራ ሓዳስ ሃገር ስለዝኾነትን ግዳማዊ ተጻብኦ ስለዝበዝሓን’’ እናበልካ ድኽመታትካ መጎልበቢ ክትጥቀመሉ ግን ሓባኢ ቁስሉስ ሓባኢ ፈውሱ’ዩ። ንኣብነት ከተማ ኣስመራ ብዓበይቲ ዲጋታት ተኸቢባ ክንሳ፡ እቲ ኣብ እዋን ጣልያን ዝተዘርግሐ መስመራት ማይ ስለዝኣረገ ብዙሕ መጠን ማይ ኣብ ተጠቃሚ ከይበጽሐ ኣብ መሬት ይዘሩቕን ጠንቂ ሕጽረት ማይ ኮይኑ ኢልካ ዘሰልቹ ምኽንያት ምቅራብን ምስ ምንታይ ይቁጸር? ኣብ ኤርትራ ድሕሪ ናጽነት ብዙሕ ኣዎንታዊ መዳያት ከምዝተራእየ ዝክሓድ ኣይኮነን። እንተኾነ እዚ ሕጂ ብሰሪ ጋሕማጥ ኣሰራርሓ ህግደፍ ተፈጢሩ ዘሎ ቁጠባዊ፡ ማሕበራዊ፡ ፖለቲካውን ዲፕሎማስያውን ቅልውላዋት፡ ነቲ ጀሚሩ ዝነበረ ጽቡቅ ተስፋን ኣንፈት ግስጋሰን ጽልግልግ ከምዝብል ገይሩዎ። መልክዕን ስምን ኤርትራ ኣብ መድረኽ ዓለም ተደዊኑ። ብዛዕባ ጸገማት ህግደፍ ብዙሕ ክዝረብ ይከኣል’ዩ። ርእይቶ ግን ኣብቲ ምስ ዓለም ብዝያዳ ዘራኽብ ቁጠባውን ዲብሎማስያውን ቀለቤት ከተኩር’ዩ። ኣብ ዓለም፡ ኣብ ዲፕሎማስያዊ ንጥፈታትን ርክባትን ኣብ እንካን ሃባን ዝተመርኾሰን ክልቴኻ ትረብሓሉ ዝምድና ምፍጣር እምበር ምጥቃዕን ምዝላቅን ዝዓይነቱ ናይ ደባይ ቅዲ ኩናት ምዝውታር ዘዕውት ኣይኮነን። እዚ ማለት ግን ንሃገራዊ ረብሓታትካን ድሕነትካን ኣብ ዋጋ ዕዳጋ ዘእቱ ጠላዕ ክኸውን የብሉን። ሃገራት ረብሓታት ህዝበን ከምዘቀድማን ኣብ ቁጠባውን ዲፕሎማስያውን እትጥቀመሉ ሕግታትን ብልሓታትን ምፍላጥ ድማ ንፍሽለትካን ዓወትካን ዝውስን’ዩ። በዚ መንጽር’ዚ፡ ቀንዲ ዕሽነት ስርዓት ህግደፍ; ድሕሪ ናጽነት ገና ሕግታት በረኻን ናይ ደባይ ቅዲ ኩናት ዝዓይነቱ ቁጠባዊ፡ ፖለቲካውን ዲፕሎማስያውን ሜላታትን ይኽተል ስለዘሎ’ዩ።

ንሃገር ዝምልከት ዓበይትን ኣገደስትን እስትራተጅያዊ ውዕላትን ውሳኔታትን ክፍጸሙ እንከለዉ፡ ብሕግታትን ቅዋምን ምቅያድ ከምኡ’ውን ኣማኸርትን ክኢላታትን ምውካስን፡ ብድምጽን ክትዕን ወከልቲ ህዝቢ ክጸድቅን ክውሰንን ይግባእ። ኣብ ስርዓት ህግደፍ ግን እዚ ዓይነት ልምድን ሕግን የለን። ብዓቢኡ ቅዋምን ብህዝቢ ዝተመርጸ ባይቶን ስለዘየለ፡ ብዘይተሓታትነት ኣብ ቃሕታ ምልካዊ ኢሳያስ ይወድቅን ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ድማ ግዳይ ናቱ ይኸውንን። ናይ 1998 ግጭት ኤርትራን ኢትዮጵያን ከም ኣብነት እንተወሲድና፡ መንግስቲ ኢትዮጵያ ነቲ ዘጋጠመ ምብራዕ ኩናት፡ ኣብ ባይቶ’ታ ሃገር ኣቅሪቡ ዘትዩን ብኣዋጅ ንህዝቢ ኢትዮጵያ ኣፍሊጡን። መንግስቲ ኤርትራ ብኣንጻሩ፡ ኢሳያስ ነቲ ኣብ መንጉኡን መለስን ዝነበረ ምምልላስን ኣበጋግሳ’ቲ ኩናትን ከም ኣብ ክልተ ስድራቤት ዝተራእየ ብኣሲ ገይሩ ኣቅሪብዎ። ኢትዮጵያ ቅድሚ ኩናት ምውልዑ፡ ኣብ ነሓሰ 1997 ኣብ ግዝኣት ኤርትራ ብምእታው ንዓዲ ምሩግ (ከባቢ ባዳ)ጎቢጡ ከብቅዕ፡ መንግስቲ ኤርትራ ግን፡ መንግስቲ ኢትዮጵያ መሬት ኤርትራ ተቆጻጺሩ ከምዘሎ ንህዝቢ ኤርትራን ዓለምን ብወግዒ ኣየፍለጠን። ዘበንያ ግርምቢጥስ ማይ ንዓቀብ ከምዝብሃል ግን፡ ኢትዮጵያ፡ ሰራዊት ኤርትራ ኣብ ከባቢ ባድመ ግዝኣት ኢትዮጵያ ወሪሩ ከምዝሓዘ ኣቀዲሙ ንዓለምን ህዝቡን ስለዝሓበረ፡ ኤርትራ ከም ጀማሪት ተጻብኦን ጻሕታሪትን ተባሂላ። ኣብ ሰነ 1998፡ ነፈርቲ ኩናት ኢትዮጵያ ኣብ መዓርፎ ነፈርቲ ኣስመራ ደብዳብ ኣካይደንን ኣብ ህይወት ሰብ፡ንብረትን መሳለጥያ’ቲ መዓርፎ ነፈርቲን ጉድኣት ምስኣውረዳ ህግደፍ ከምኣመሉ ኣስቂጡ። ሕነ ንምፍዳይ ነፈርቲ ኩናት ኤርትራ ኣብ መቀለ ምስ ደብደባን መንግስቲ ኢትዮጵያ ንዓለምን ህዝቢ ኢትዮጵያን ብዛዕባ’ቲ ነፈርቲ ኤርትራ ዝፈጸምኦ መግለጺ ኣቅሪቡን ንኤርትራ ከሲሱን። ድሕሪ ማይ ኣብ ብዓቲ ከምዝብሃል፡ ስርዓት ህግደፍ ፡ኢትዮጵያ ኣቀዲማ ኣብ መዓሮፎ ነፈርቲ ኣስመራ ደብዳብ ከምዘካየደት ገሊጹ። እዚ ዓይነት ሜላ፡ ብዓይኒ ዲፕሎማስያዊ ኣሰራርሓ፡ ዋላ ሓቅነት ይሃልዎ እቲ ግዚኡ ዝሓለፎ መግለጺ ኤርትራ ሰማዒ እዝኒ የብሉን። ምኽንያቱ እቲ ናይ ደባይ ውግእ ኣሰራርሓ፡ “ስቅ ክንብል ስለዝመረጽና’ምበር ዝዝረብ ኣይስኣናን” ዝብል ፍልስፍና ድሕሪ ናጽነት’ውን ይቅጽሎ ስለዘሎ። ናይ ቀረባ ፍጻመ፡ ኣብ ለካቲት 2015, ኣብ መዕደኒ ወርቂ ቢሻን ከባቢ ማይ ዕዳጋን ዝተፈጸም ደብዳብ ተወንጫፊ ሚሳይል ልኡላውነት ሃገር ተደፊሩን ሰብኣውን ንዋታውን ክሳራ ወሪዱን ከብቅዕ፡ ብመንግስቲ ኤርትራ ዝኾነ መግለጺ ኣይተዋህበን፡ ብቤላበለው ኮይኑ ቅሂሙ። እንደገና ስቅ ክንብል ስለዝመረጽና’ምበር ዝዝረብ ኣይስኣናን።

ኤርትራ ብኩናትን ተኸታታሊ ድርቅን ቁጠባኣን ትሕተ ቅርጻን ስለዝዓነወ፡ ንምሕዋዩ ዝያዳ ካልኦት ሃገራት ክንሰርሕን ንኽብርና ኣብ ዋጋ ዕዳጋ ዘየእቱ ተዓጻጻፊን ስሓብን ፖሊሲ ክህልወና ከምዝግባእ ዘማትእ ኣይኮነን። ስርዓት ህግደፍ ግን ንዓቅሚ ዘለዎም ኤርትራውያ፡ ገንዘቦምን ክእለቶምን ኣዋፊሮም ኣብ ምህናጽ ሃገር ተራኦም ከየበርክቱ ኩሉ ዕድላት ተኸልኪሎም፡፡ ብተመሳሳሊ ናይ ደገ ኣውፈርቲ’ውን ብሰሪ ዘይማራኺ ፖሊሲታት ህግደፍ “ኤርትራ ጸጋታት ኣለዋ” ዝብል መግለጺ ካብ ምሃብ፡ ናብ ኤርትራ ተመሊሶም ወፍሪ እይገበሩን። እቲ ዝዓበየ ጸገም፡ እተን ዝሓተን ዘይብለንን ብሕጊ ዘይቅየዳን ቁጠባዊ ትካላት ህግደፍ ዝርካቡ ዕዳጋታት ስለዝበሓቶኦ’ዩ። ኤርትራ ወናኒት ክልተ ወደባት፡ ገማግም ባሕርን ደሴታትን ካልእ ታሪኻዊ ቦታታትን ክንሳ፡ ስርዓት ህግደፍ ብተናኻስን ተጋላባጥን መርገጺኡን ስሱዕ ባህርያቱን ካብ ህዝቡን ዓለምን ተነጺሉ’ሎ። ህግደፍ “ኤርትራ ማእከል ንግዲ ክትከውን’ያ፡ ምቹእ ኩነታት ኣየር፡ ኣቀማምጣ መሬት፡ ባህርያዊ ጸጋታትን ሰላምን ስለዘለዋ መስሕብ በጻሕትን ኣውፈርትን ክትከውን’ያ” ኢሉ ለይትን መዓልትን ይለፍለፍ እምበር፡ ግሉጽነትን ተሓታትነትን ዘይብሉን ኣህጉራዊ ሕግታት ዘየኽብርን ስርዓት፡ ኣናፍራ ቆቛሕ ዘይፈልጥስ ኣይሃዳናይን’ዩ። ስርዓት ህግደፍ ሕግታት ካብ ምንዳፍን ግብሪ ካብ ምእካብን ሓሊፉ፡ ኪሎ ሽኮር፡ ሓባ ባኒን እንቋቁሖን ዝቆጻጸር እንተኾይኑ፡ ብዘይክኡ ካልእ ክኢላን ለባምን ከምዘሎ ስለዘይኣምን ንኻልእ ዕድል ዘይህብ ውልቀ መላኺ ኢሳያስ፡ ንህዝብን መሬትንን ከም ውልቃዊ ንብረቱን ምሻጥን ምልዋጥን ከየቋረጸ ዕድል ኤርትራ ክብእስ እምበር ራህዋ ኣይመጽእን’ዩ። ተስፋ እገብር ግን፡ ህግደፍ ንመጻኢ ኣካይዳ ዓለም ብግቡእ ክፈልጥን  ብልኡላውነትን ክብረትን ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ምጥላዕ ከቋርጽ።

    To sum it up, it is simply “Ghedli wounded poor Eritrea, Higdef killed it, and the opportunists so called opposition and the elites are about to bury it” for ever.

It is the enormous sacrifice, it’s the blood that was shed, the innocence that was stolen, the promise that was broken, yes! it is burning hot inside our souls like a calderon to the point we can’t even think rationally.WE all screwed up, blame no one, let’s stop the squabble among us, let’s pick up the pieces and move forward.There is a clear and present danger to every justice,peace, harmony, integrity seeking Eritrean,..[HGDEF].Together we can uproot and cast away this curse, and never give it a chance to revisit us again.IT CAN BE DONE.     The root cause our problems is our blind trust on the what we once considered a can do superman Isaias Afwerki who was laughing at our ignorance for long years. Isias, who addicted deception as his sole principal in the era of our armed struggle, is deadly and frequently trying to deceive all the world the matter which resulted in the isolation of our country from the world and he turned Eritrea to a stone age country.

At times he is sarcastic, and arrogant, and at times he is degrading and venomous. he calls his own people ‘LAHASTI SHAHANI.’ He looks down on us, and treat us like a piece of garbage.Disrespectfully, he speaks with that cryptic smile in his face, ‘MAY DELIKUM,NABTI MAY ZELEWO BOTA KIDU’. He keeps on regergitating filth on the very people who built him up to where is today.he played us all like a violin, because we are gullible ,and naive people.My MOM from the SERAYE region of our country used to say ,’KABTA ZGEBRUKA ITA KFUUE ZEMHURUKA.’ Miss her everyday.

      Indeed, my grandmother from the HAMASSEIN region would call people like yourselves “ab kunat zeyiwaAle beliH”. Now, are you going to tell us next that the light at the end tunnel is in full light in Seraye and is about to come and shine to the rest of Eritrea really soon?

      Esayas Afewerki was not made to be the king of kings in Asmara or in Singapore but in meda Eritrea in broad daylight and thereafter worshiped to God’s position by Eritreans all over the world. Ghedli was used by PFDJ as a joker to lull the Eritrean people (the 80% non-elite) into confused suspense while they get cleaned out in broad daylight.

      Last but not least, in the question of power, no man should be trusted, but must be shackled by the chains of constitution and lets hope Eritrea has learned her lesson the hard way not to trust smooth talkers or operators, brilliant writers, lecturers and politicians of the future.

    Eritreans do not “have more enemies” than any people in the region. The fact remains that Eritreans are the worst enemies of themselves. You do not need to cross borders to see this fact: more Eritreans live in jails, more Eritreans leave the country, more Eritreans live in starvation, more refugees are created by Eritrea … Eritrea is the worst place to born from and very humiliating.

    “A people have leaders they deserve”. I am sorry to say so, but it’s something we hear very often from others, when we tell them what we are going through. Dictators are created by people, by their culture. We did not elect Iseyas, we did not had that chance. But many ordinary Eritreans did support him to do literally anything. When he killed disabled veteran combatants of EPLF they tried to find excuses for him. When Abune Antonious (may God extend life to see the end of Higdef’s rule), was humiliated and jailed, there were also some who tried to find excuses for the brutal regime. About 150 Muslims from religious institutions and ex-ELF tegadelti where made to disappear, there were many who blamed the victims and defended the regime’s crimes. The list can grow.
    All such cases show that, we have many who defend their “leader” no matter what he does.
    These people, either have no idea what Somalization means, or they don’t care about Eritrea and its people. The country has been going in that direction for some time, this will be more evident to many when the central government sooner or later starts to lose control of restive regions in North and South. Thousands of Southern Dancalia residents have left their region and are in refugee camps in Ethiopian Afar Killil. The latter’s government has their case on top of its agenda, and its direct involvement is not a secret anymore. In the North the Lowlanders were forced to leave their region long ago. The moment the regime goes into deep crises, many will try to control their region. Many of them are losing faith in unitary State. In the absence of a strong national opposition that gives hope of national unity and peaceful transfer to democracy, different groups will control their area, where they can get easily support from people to restore some of their lost rights. That is what happened in Somalia which from early nineties is in deep crisis.
    Nationalist forces should not lose their time on side issues. They should work hard to save the country before its too late.

      Dictators are not created in empty space. There are always social, historical, and psychological patterns that are conductive to and determinant for their creation. What breeds dictatorship is above all the disgraceful silence of complacency.
      It is those who looked the other way because they did not want to see, those who didn’t see although they could see, those who are neither deaf nor mute but refuse to hear to the cries of suffering compatriots and refuse to speak on behalf of the persecuted. For far too long Eritreans have worshiped and glorified the dictator IA and have tolerated and justified the crimes of his regime with all kinds of pretexts and lame excuses including concerns for national security and looming threats from external enemies (like from poor Ethiopia or Weyane) until repression finally threatens their very own physical existence.
      Because at the end of the day the dictator extends the boundaries of his repression to embrace all, even those who had until the very last moment thought they were protected by collaboration. In short, everybody is accountable for the horror that took place in the making of Eritrea. The ghedli violence was not the work of Isaias Afewerki alone. Almost everyone, who participated as a soldier with the front, their secret cells and mass organizations, and those in diaspora are responsible for the systematic slaughter of many innocents.

        I agree that Iseyas Afewerki is not the only one responsible for crimes committed during Ghedli.
        That said, the foot soldiers were conditioned to hate the reformists and everyone who opposed Iseyas and his clique’s excesses. The dictator was and still is too sophisticated for the ordinary ‘tzeguar danga’ to understand. His divisive propaganda is tolerated by many who think he is serving their interest . The blame goes mostly to the opportunist intellectuals who embraced Iseyas’ crude ideology. Ghedli was a legitimate and noble cause of the people, and as such it’s neither right nor justifiable to blame it for crimes committed by leaders who abused it.
