This is a crucial test on Ethiopia. We will see if they have the confidence to take a swift action on hgdef or they are just an empty can. Depending on what Ethiopia’s next move is, Isayas will either get emboldened to continue doing what he does best or this blunder will be the beginning of the end for his rule.

a big mistake if Ethiopia attacked Eritrea at this time. HIGDAF WILL benefits big time. The majority of Eritreans do not want Ethiopia to involve in our struggle. It will have negative impact to our movements. Isayas will get more support from the people because of the Ethiopian involvement our people do not trust Ethiopia at this time. We do need help from Ethiopia. To validate Ethiopian involvement in our struggle, Ethiopia needs to pull out of the Eritrean territories first. once they pull out the people of Eritrea will have trust of Ethiopia. otherwise the attack from Ethiopia will create negative outcome.

Think about the question if Ethiopia declared war against Ethiopia , whose side will
we take between Eritrean people or Ethiopians ?
Regardless our differences the majority won’t sell out his country and his people and
HGDF leadership will only benefit out of it by saying I told you so that we are under
Weyane threat for military confrontation .
Also , Eritreans had negative experience with Ethiopian military force at time of Badme

Brothers, all of you, Isayas’s trick is obvious. Me, as one, I see it as if Isays is doing it deliberately, I think all his plan is to end the sovereign of Eritrea here. Delivering it to Ethiopia then save his neck from the situation being prepared by the work of the struggle supported by the Human Right Commission findings. Ethiopia’s action would be to the best interest of our suffering people and of Eritrea as a whole. I wish this situation is averted by the same struggle of our people in diaspora voicing against Ethiopia’s action and save our people from crude occupation once again, even worse. Let us voice loudly and stop the pending invasion by Ethiopia.

Reading some of the posts from above I can see HGDEfawyan are so terrified of Ethiopia right now. The reality is none of you will go to Eritrea to defend Isayas from Ethiopian assault. If Ethiopia attacks HGDEF I think more young Eritreans will abandon the regime weakening Isayas to a point of collapse. We Eritreans have no business in defending this regime and if Ethiopia wants to whack his behind so be it. Nothing can be worse than HGDEF.

Our objection from any outsider force to assault the nation of Eritrea has nothing to do with
HGDF regime but solely to it’s destructive consequences on our people’s lives . In fact either
under HGDF or any other governing party we will stand with our people from any foreign
intervention .
In fact if they want to get rid from Issayas , they can find ways on how to achieve a plan but
the issue in consideration lies on absent political leaderdhip which can give guarantee for
peaceful and successful transition .
To expect for ending solution in our political crisis from Ethiopia sounds hollow dream from
desperation without second thought to the turmoil in process created .
