At a dinner July 1, the ambassador got Justice Minister Fawzia Hashim and Tourism Minister Askalu Menkerios to share warm reminisces about the visit. Askalu recalled planting a tree in the grounds of a rural clinic, and Fawzia said the luncheon with Eritrean women leaders was very special. When the ambassador mentioned that we have been trying for ten days to get a call through from the Secretary to President Isaias, both ministers stopped smiling and looked down at their plates. ‘Well, he has been traveling a lot lately,’ one of the ministers lamely offered. A lady who used to work there as a nurse helped him and at night she carry the tegadaly on her back and took him to word hara meret eritrea were he belongs. She took a risk but she is an eritrean woman and she don’t want to see tegadaly in the hands of ethiopian soliders. This Tegadaly became a general one can imagine what it takes to became a general in shaebia. I heard the story about this lady long time ago and i saw her during the demonstration against the sanction in washington dc and she was very brave and strong woman. Which are the correct means to reach our end? How do we define Democracy, in contrast to the regime in eritrea? Are we also tolerants to our political oppenents ex. hgdef? Do we respect some one to have his own view on the situation we exist? etc… What is here posted as usual like chasing a political oppnent, has nothing to do with maturity, respose ability, democracy. This type of “struggle” is realy cheap, savage, very uncivilized can reache no were.
