    Dear Mewael
    I am glad you are alive. Please take care of yourself.
    Thank you Aman for your hard work and dedication to shade light on what is going on to our people and country.

    Mewael stated many important points about what is going on to our people. He spoke the truth of eye witness accounts of Eritrea under a dictator and hand-caped military generals. Eritreans in diaspora, including you Aman have been saying “CHANGE HAS TO COME FROM WITHIN ERITREA” “THE ERITREAN PEOPLE IN ERITREA ARE THE ONE WHO CAN BRING CHANGE” My gut feeling about change from within for the Eritrean people has been not good. Because I don’t know, how we can expect people who have been traumatized and subdued for 24 years to bring change on their own? To say, change has to come from within Eritrea is grossly overestimating the Eritrean society’s ability to bring change for itself. When we have the young and the strong is fleeing Eritrea, what we left behind are women, helpless children and frail elderly. On the top of that we have useless Military generals who are taking orders from a mad man and they are letting their own people and county down. I understand what brother Mewael is saying. How can hungry, ill and malnourished people be able to bring change they desperately need. They need our help.

    Mewael is so right when he said, the political opposition groups have to do something for their people and country. Those leaders in the political opposition group can’t say or think they want to be a president, or vise president, or a high ranking officials as prerequisite for change in Eritrea. Many of us have said here at Assenna, why is it so hard for the political opposition to come to the table and agree on one important matter, in order to save their people from systematic extermination? Is there is any worst thing, than Eritrea being robbed its protective natural resource which is its people? The fact of the matter is Our people within Eritrea can’t do this on their own. We have to start from our end. We can start by coming to the table with one common ground. The questions I want to ask myself and other Eritreans are: Am I an Eritrean? Is being an Eritrean worth something to me? what is the common ground I have with any other Eritreans? Am I ready to contribute any things I can? Can I do something for my people and country without asking for compensation? Am I capable of caring for all Eritreans? Can I be trusted to bring change? Am I capable of managing change? People like Mewael are telling us the hard truth. Our people within Eritrea can’t bring change without our help. We can tell them they need to fight back, but if they don’t have our support, the faith and trust of political oppositions’ leaders for change, they are not going to do it. To try to fight back DIA, with their weak knee, empty stomach and demoralized mindset is a sure suicide. Can any Eritrean live with that reality? It is sad, but it is the hard truth that there is no movement for change from within Eritrea. Can any political leader for change promises the Eritrean people he or she will work without asking anything in return?

    God Bless the our people and save our country!
    Genet-o

    It is sad and honest answer to Amanuel question about
    the risk of fleeing from the country by saying ;
    ” zelo nabra ab adi mot iyu silezi fetinka timewt
    wey biselam tinebr ” . From the word of his mouth ;
    desperation , suppression and hopelessness became
    part of their daily life to abandon their homes . But
    it is pity to hear those who refuse to listen their on
    going complaints .
    WHO IS EXACTLY BETRAYER ( KEHADI ) in hear
    unless to repeat Issayas spoken words like parrots.

    Please Assenna, Why we do not see any news or article about Eritrean ID (Passport) replacement that is planed to be given by mafia regime? I believe this is very relevant major burden political issue that needs everyone’s attention, rather than many of less relevant news that we seen on display. I do not mean the other topics are irrelevant, but why sometimes ignores very big issues here in Assenna to debate? Just few weeks ago also there was a news about Ali Abdu as has given interview. We as Assenna family´s should not to be informed about? i am not talking to myself, but there are lot citizens using assenna as only source of their media. I hope you take my critic positively. But other side also it is not only Assenna to be blamed, but those contributed articles and news, why they ignored these major news, i think you compromising with your intelligence.
    The late honourable Wodi Vacaro for instance he was given his concern about the theme, but why we not discussing to know for what reason PFDJ as has plans to give a new ID (Passport)this time?
